    Princess Luna. I don't know why, but I seem to have connected with her character since the very beginning. The fan episode Snowdrop also helped me to like Luna's character even more.

    Or maybe an episode that reveals more about her parents, which could introduce new character flaws that Applejack may have, since she never mentions them, she could be afraid to face the past.

    The point of ponies having hooves is for them to look like ponies. The point of them being able to use their hooves in various ways is to allow for the story to progress without having to spend time worrying about such trivial matters. Although, if you're going to analyze the show in whole, this is a pretty clear area of oddness that should be addressed.

    I know this is a bit off topic, but whenever I think of Chrysalis I think of a queen that is trying to help her kingdom in the wrong way. From her point of view, she is doing what is necessary to improve the being of her kingdom. But anyways, we can only speculate on what is going to be coming, other than the spoilers (which I have avoided), so we can never know what the future will hold.

    Franchise games tend to get hate no matter what. GTA V avoided the pregame hate by having a huge budget, good advertising, and GTA being such a good franchise to begin with. Games that have clear competitors (COD and BF) will always have people fighting against each other trying to be better than the others.

    The only thing I could imagine happening would be a lot of anxiety while waiting. Although it would be entertaining to watch them in that sense, without their leader to be there to help them.

    I agree. But Discord seems to be the fan favorite since his episodes are fun and entertaining. I wouldn't mind seeing more of any of them, hell, even seeing them team up (which would be pretty unrealistic) would be fun to watch, especially with the conflicting personalities.

    Agreed. People are probably very defensive of Fluttershy being hurt because she is depicted as such a fragile and gentle pony. If she would be more well rounded, people wouldn't pay as much mind to it.

    Almost any local place that sells pizza around here is pretty amazing. Dominos tends to have low quality pizza, Pizza Hut tends to be pretty good, and other major places around here tend to be decent to me. But as long as it's pizza, it's okay with me.

    Today I had a cup of spicy chicken flavored ramen as well as a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. If you want to include my "early" lunch, it was cinnamon poptarts.

    I haven't had Pringles in a long time. Mainly due to my family not enjoying them as much as other chips, but I enjoy Cheddar and Sour Cream along with Sour Cream and Onion.

    Deep dish buffalo chicken with onions. No pizza sauce, but buffalo sauce. Also, pepperjack cheese instead of whatever they usually put on pizzas. That sounds like heaven in a cardboard box.

    Since the beginning of the show, Twilight has been the clear main character. While there are the Mane 6 who play the role of the main characters, the story is centered around Twilight and her lessons that she has learned. The only problem I personally have with Twilight becoming a princess is the amount of time it took to get there. It should have been saved for a little later, but that's just my opinion.

    Also, Angel being so rude to Fluttershy is probably an attempt at poking fun at how Fluttershy is too shy. Especially with Fluttershy's unyielding love of such a rude creature.

    I'd also like to add that MLP:FiM already has a significant number of antagonists, especially considering we're only approaching on Season 4. It'd be a much more interesting plot if they'd pick main antagonists and keep them steady, such as Discord is.

    Having an obvious changeling in the background would be too obvious. It'd be something that the audience would expect the Mane 6 to pick up on. Now if there were two background ponies with the same design and color scheme with different cutie marks, that'd be an Easter egg that could hint at changelings still being around. Of course without proper addressing of this issue by someone in the show, it'd probably be seen as just an error by the viewer.

    Thank you, and it is very exciting to see people from Ohio on here, since living in a small, unknown town prevents you from meeting people who share your interests. Thank you, and very nice picture you have there.

    Any episode featuring the CMC is an amazing episode imo. More specifically, I really enjoyed Luna Eclipsed, probably because of the new costumes of each pony and how Luna, my favorite pony, was a main character.

    Thank you . Seems very nice around here, with mostly intelligent people making good analysis on this show. Although I'd argue everfree is a bit better, but I have only seen these forums for around an hour or two.

    At least there are references to Chrysalis in the comics. Not like that is a fair addition to them in association the show, but it works for me. Hopefully S4 will be more conflicting.

    This is the reason why Discord is a good villain. He had returned after being dealt with and is now "under control". While he may seem innocent now, there is always the opportunity for him to come back.

    I think of Angel as the only way for Fluttershy to really be assertive. It helps her understand when she is being too passive in a situation, and helps move her forward. Angel also teaches her about when she needs to be assertive.

    The idea of a prominent antagonist being eliminated from any show is disheartening. It is much easier for the story to continue if the antagonist still holds a threat and it is a central idea that they may come back. This helps add to the story and helps to remind everyone that the show isn't perfectly nice and happy; it allows for more conflicts to keep the story going.

    So I'm new to these forums, the former forums I used to use most often has been dieing recently so I decided to move on from it. I'm from Marseilles, Ohio (Northwest Ohio) and I am a freshman at Tiffin University majoring in Computer and Information Systems in the School of Business. Favorite of the Mane 6 would be Fluttershy.
