  1. I saw those in the store the other day while I was grocery shopping...my boyfriend wouldn't let me buy them
  2. I've actually had the opposite problem. Most boys that I've dated (including the guy I'm living with now) have actually tried to talk me into bringing a girl home to "share"
  3. My mother made me take one when I was 11, and I got 169. It's been 10 years though, and it was the child's version of the test, so I don't know how accurate that is today. The problem with IQ tests, however, is that they really don't measure anything. Intelligence can't be defined by a number. There are so many different types of intelligence. For example, I have zero common sense and very limited intrapersonal skills. Everybody excels at something that somebody else is awful at.
  4. I have that shirt in light blue with cursive writing. Cut for a girl and whatnot. Definitely one of my favorites!
  5. My family doesn't care, but they do think it's immature. I didn't have any problem telling them, nor did I feel the need to "come out". It was just something that became a part of my life, and when they saw me watching it, the conversation was along the lines of "I watch My Little Pony now. My Little Pony is cool", to which they responded "Alrighty then". My little sister is also a Brony, but they think it's more acceptable for her since she's only 16. Occasionally, they'll tell me "You're an adult, act like one", but since I don't live with them, they can't really call me on it.
  6. I'm a pretty big fan of big band and jazz, although I'm able to listen to just about anything and enjoy it.
  7. I think bodyswapping would make a cute episode. I could also see it spawning a lot of clopfics, however... Personally, I'd like to see Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy switch, if only for the reason that I want to see how the flying skills would carry over
  8. So, I was going through some pictures from my last season of drum corps last summer, and I found some funny ones Me in mid-air (I can fly!): Me looking like an angry monkey: Me being the only Jewish member of the corps for Christmas in July, and pouting about it (and yes, that is a pokewalker in my cleavage):
  9. I'm hoping that this means that there might be a movie to compensate for the lack of episodes...if not, though, then this is pretty disappointing news...
  10. I have 6 pets of my own. I have 4 guinea pigs (Artemis, Trixie, Trouble, and Holly) and a 5-year-old cat named Lucy. They're currently at my grandma's house, where I lived before I moved in to my boyfriend's apartment. Living with me here is my kitten Snickers.
  11. 1.Do you believe in an afterlife? I'm not sure. I believe it's a possibility, but I think I more believe in the possibility of reincarnation. 2.Are you a religious person and if so what does your specified religion state about death? I'm Jewish and fairly religious, but the Torah really doesn't mention the afterlife. We don't really believe in a Heaven or a Hell, we just believe in being a good, charitable person while you're alive. Most sects of Judaism believe that there is some sort of life after death, but we don't classify it or pretend that we understand it. The main belief is that when the Messiah comes, the dead will be risen and the world will return to a Garden of Eden-like state. But while the dead are dead...they're dead. 3. Are you scared of death/oblivion To an extent, yes. I think, as humans, all of us have some reservations about dying, and I'm grateful for that deeply ingrained sense of self-preservation, as it's what has kept me alive despite everything I've been through, which some of my friends have described as enough to break the world's strongest man. So, yeah, I'd have to say that my fear of death is even stronger than that. But I can see my fear of death fading as I reach old age.
  12. Out of all of these, I would say that Applejack/loyalty and Fluttershy/generosity are the most prominent
  13. I've been using Ponyhoof for some time now. I LOVE it! There are so many little surprises thrown in that I keep discovering. It never fails to entertain me. And if you're shy about being a Brony, the good thing is, nobody else can see it. It's just a browser mod that allows you to view the site differently. You aren't actually changing your facebook for the public to see.
  14. Red from Gold/Silver was my favorite, if only for the nostalgia he inspired. Pokemon Red was my very first Gameboy game, which I bought with my very first Gameboy shortly after Red/Blue were released. I remember when Gold/Silver were released, and when I had my first battle with Red...It was just such a blast from the past to be battling the first character that I ever played as.
  15. I'd like to see a song or two featuring Applejack. I'd also like to see Sweetie Belle sing more, only because I'm pretty sure that will help lead her to her cutie mark
  16. I took flute lessons in elementary school, and hated it. If you give me a song and about 2 minutes, I can figure out how to play the melody on the piano, and I dabble in trumpet.
  17. That is a good point. What really matter is what side the Doctor is on. That pretty much decides it.
  18. My mind has just been blown thinking about this... Assimilation CAN be broken, and I feel like the Daleks would put up quite a fight to begin with. Also, Borgs are more focused on assimilating other races, whereas the sole focus of the Daleks is self-preservation. Look how many times the Daleks came back after being "wiped out". They'd be more than a match for the Borg and just would not let themselves get assimilated. However, if the Borg managed to assimilate Dalek weaponry...well, that might as well be Game Over.
  19. Here is one of me in a tire, back when my hair was long.
  20. Have your roommate step on it. That's how the laptop I had my sophomore year of college went the way of the dinosaurs.
  21. My top boy name is Erik David (named for both the Phantom of the Opera and my grandfather) and my top girl name is Anna Charlotte. I'm also partial to Joshua for a boy, and Shilo for a girl.
  22. I'm bi. A fact which my boyfriend keeps trying to exploit for his benefit, but that's another story
  23. It was my high school boyfriend's nickname for me. It was cute and easy to remember, and I'm too lazy to think of anything else, so it's pretty much my standard username on any site
