Well, after looking a bit, it seems that the people that actually have played Skylanders, seem to really like it
My only problem with it, is that if you take Spyro out of it... it seems like it wouldn't even make any difference
The figurine aspect to the game is a pretty neat idea, especially if there are parts of the game where you need a specific character to get to the next part (such as for one part you might need a undead type of character, any other character would die instantly)... It's definitely the rpg game with the most playable characters (I think?)
If I was a collector of figurines, I think it would be neat to just collect them... from what images I've seen, they seem really well made, and detailed. Unlike the stuff I've seen from Bandai of America (sorry simple toku fan rant)
My opinion on the whole thing... their dragons, dragon's has a history of stories being from light to dark... so it wasn't anything new to me... and even then, The Legend series is tamed compared to other dark dragon stories
I enjoyed the story, despite not having played the first game... looking back on it, every time I see Cynder I can't help but think of Luna (Well more Past Sins)
My only problem with the original Spyro game was the replay-ability of it... as soon as you get 120% there really isn't anything left to do... at least for Ripto's rage, you can redo all the other world stories
Also, Sonic never had guns. XP
....
Honestly... I think if they combined the elements of all the games, they could really make a great Spyro game.
The action and story of The Legend series
The Decade different worlds, and free roam
and the multiple party of Skylanders...and don't forget about the collectibles

I'll be honest... I use to think that FiM shipping was the weirdest shipping out there...
then I came across Spyro shipping
