    *KICKS IN THE DOOR TO THE SUNNY FANCLUB* GUYS HAVE YOU SEEN-- Oh... right. NO seriously, that came out like a day or two ago and I hadn't gotten a chance to watch it yet. HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER. Based on the film's version of Sunny, I've been very adamant about her NOT going back to Equestria, at least not for any longer than a brief cameo, but woooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I can see why it was cut, and as a deleted scene, means that it DID NOT HAPPEN and IS NOT CANON, but holy damn that song. I just... I don't... woooooowwwwwwwww ALSO: when do we get the unreleased track version of that song? Because I need it on my iPod something fierce.

    They were pretty much fundamentally high schoolers. Even Cinch wasn't really "evil" for evil's sake. Except when she did that whole song convicing Twilight to unleash a torrent of arcane energy and transforming her into a demon and nearly destroying all of human reality as we know it. That was kinda evil.

    Oh my god, someone else that understands! This was the realest, most humanizing and grounding moment in the movie. This Crystal Prep kid, this "fake" Twilight is messing with Sunset's friends and their magic, she's the one that closed the portal, and she doesn't even know what she's doing or how it works! Sunny is already frustrated with herself for not understanding magic, and now "fake" Twilight doesn't get it either and is making things WORSE! Plus, "real" or not, a Twilight is a Twilight and looks exactly like the person who's not returning her inter-dimensional text messages. Sunset Shimmer is the most human and relatable character in EQG. Plus, as someone who swallows all their anger until it boils over, I tooooootally relate. I wish we saw these kinds of flaws from other characters (besides Applejack) more often.

    This was my favorite part of the whole post. If there's one thing this show's taught me, it's that friends don't have to agree on everything. As long as we love and support each other at the end of the day. Might work up a blog post on this topic at some point. Right now, it's back to work.

    Some bronies may be furries. Some furries may be bronies. But being one does not necessarily make you the other. You can enjoy ponies without having a penchant for anthropomorphic animals, and you can enjoy anthro-critters without liking ponies.

    Gotta give this one a big Nnope. Sunny's made her home in the human world, and while I wouldn't be opposed to a cameo, or maybe a single episode where she pops over to help Twi with a problem, but Hasbro really hasn't seen fit to do flashback episodes since Cutie Mark Chronicles. They seem to like to save background character building for the comics, and I think that's pretty cool. Gives us way more background, and gives Hasbro something else to farm money with. At best, you might get a EQG youtube short with a touch more Sunny background. But a whole episode, or a multi-part episode just isn't gonna happen.

    Atticus Finch, from To Kill a Mockingbird I'm like, legitimately upset that they copped the name, but didn't give the character any similarities. But I agree, she was probably created because it was easier to make a new character than make King Sombra fit the EQG world.
