I won't lie I'm going to miss generation 4 of MLP! Here's hoping I can get every single episode on DVD.

Unfortunately missed the final BronyCon since I don't actually live anywhere near Baltimore, like, at all. Most of my convention experiences relating to ponies has often just been at more general conventions that just happened to have people from the Brony fandom there.

Darn shame that, we will have a convention in Australia on the 17th but I wont be able to make it, made so much worse because the voice actor for Princess Celestia will be there D;

I gotta replace my Joy Cons some time... Good thing I actually live fairly close to Nintendo's Australian headquarters, oddly enough. Here's hoping I can just simply get a replacement for the ones that came with my console.

Out of curiosity, I decided to take a look at the cooler I bought for my soon to be built computer before I install it... Given the difficulty of trying to put it back in its original box (although I feel like I safely did it, hoping my instincts were right with this), I kinda dislike the packaging it comes in. Very hard to get out, does not appear to have any anti static wrapping around it thus requiring extra care just to look at the thing at all and putting it back in its packaging might as well be a boss battle.

Thanks to a suggestion from someone on EqD, I decided to change to a pony profile pic for old times sake... Here is the first avatar I ever used when I first became a Brony. I'm sure some here will remember it.

So it turns out MLP ending with season 9 is actually making me pretty emotional. I mean, I do already plan on watching the show one last time by the time it appears either on Netflix or Boomerang, all while avoiding as many leaks and spoilers as possible.

Was originally going to do a blog post of this but, decided there probably wasn't really that much to say about it, but some things have actually changed quite a bit in my life recently. (new group of friends, got a new pet cat, got over many things from the past, etc...)
I really cannot say that I'll be back permanently, as this is only me being nostalgic (but hey, the last time I said something, like that, it didn't age so well), but I was reminded about here after talking to @Valencia on Discord and decided I should come back here anyway, at least for now.

Anyway, I've been feeling somewhat nostalgic towards MLP recently. At this rate I may also visit PonyTown again provided its still a thing that exists. Hello, everyone!

Hello, everyone!
Decided I'd come back for today just to say hi for a bit and maybe browse some old topics, and give an update to those who still care.
Recently, I decided to join a Discord server run by a former Brony I watch semi-regularly on YouTube and have been making friends with some people there, and have even become a little acquainted with the former Brony YouTuber herself. I've also already got more into drawing recently and have started making an effort to do daily drawings of things and I plan on learning animation and video editing soon. (would absolutely LOVE a new video camera as well)
My parents have also helped make changes to my room and I now have a larger bookshelf and a TV in my room, with a place to store my console collection. I have also decided to start packing my pony related merchandise away in boxes, but, I seem to still be missing my first art piece I bought at a convention, which is actually kind of upsetting me a bit...
I have started to move on from some things in my life and I do feel like I've started to find some happiness again in my life, but, at times I do still feel upset about some things, but I guess eventually I'll be able to move on from that, too. Anyway, how are you all?

Feels weird coming back here.. I won't be staying for very long, and I'm sure this post will get lost in a sea of other status updates and notifications, but, yeah, I'm not sure what to say... I guess, had it not been for all the drama leading up to my decision to leave the fandom. I might have at least still been on the forums more regularly. At this point though, I feel like I've already said everything... Might visit again next month for a little bit. See you later, everyone...

I understand how something like that can have an effect...
Maybe the best way to leave the issue behind is to try again, either now or later. But do what you feel is best, I can't say for sure what is the best course of action here as I don't know what exactly happened. Good luck, my friend!

And now that I have finished sending all those messages (RIP status updates section), it is time for me to say farewell... I've really enjoyed my time here, both when I first joined in 2014 and today. I wish I could stay for longer, but, I feel like, with the fact that I no longer consider myself a Brony, that maybe its my time to leave... *gives the forums one last big hug* MLP Forums is truly best pony!

The truth saddens me because I thought I could have a new online friend like I used to have several years ago ... so if the contact stays ... well nothing! better so! In case you do not... have a super hug until later (since goodbye is forever) and always look for the positive side, Life is always better with a smile.

I haven't saw you in a long time, but, I just wanted to let you know that I am no longer a Brony and have pretty much left the fandom and the forums... Thankfully, we do have each other on Discord and on Switch, but, I just wanted to let you know that I always thought you were a good friend, and I really mean it when I say that you are like a sister to me...
I was hoping at least EqG would continue a little longer, but sadly that doesn't seem to be the case.
Though it's obviously better than having everything covered in dust!
