Rants always do. People who agree will like it, and people who disagree will most likely present rebuttals in the comments. Plus, the fact that most rants contain little to no well-thought arguments makes them a prime target for people who do discuss by using proper arguments. (However, this does not mean all rants are poorly thought out, poorly argumented ones.)

On topic now. You could indeed practice digital art and post some stuff you made every now and then in a blog here on the forums. That way, you'll likely attract people who will give you constructive criticism. Maybe try posting it in the Art section of the forums as well.

Although that is not necessarily due to Steam itself but Valve being an enormous spamtard with those damn beta keys. Fun fact: I haven't even received one in all this time xD

Reason 1 depends on how good you are at keeping money in your pocket.

While I do RP on this site, I have to agree that the almost all-american community is a real pain sometimes. I have had plenty of times where I'd wake up to dozens and dozens of new posts in the RP I'm in, making it very hard to keep up.

I, like you, absolutely hate the girlfriend question. Especially when your parents do it and blab on all about how 'you're probably not doing enough for it' and 'that it's about time'.

They have no clue how hard it is these days. Worst thing is, if I were to try more, I would just end up coming off as desperate, and no one out there would ever like  me more than a friend, let alone that I have any female friends at all.

It's perfectly normal. In fact, it has been proven that people who talk to themselves are often more thorough in making decisions for one. And, it keeps your mind busy. So don't worry.

Atlas and P-Body... Big Macintosh and Braeburn? 

Sure, Big Macintosh might be a bit of a silent, more timid type but Atlas is the same.

Braeburn is a bit more happy and less timid, he'd fit P-Body quite well.

Plus, the fact that they're cousins of eachother already eliminates the 'must be good friends' problem. Unless them being family is a problem in this.

I gotta say Dimitri, I admire your way of thinking and the way you see things. Even though you go through a lot you always seem to find something positive and hold onto it.

Just ignore them. Best way to deal with trolls is to not feed them.

Do you get some kind of error when you try to open the setup of Chrome or Firefox? Is the computer up-to-date?

Also, about the WinZip part, try uninstalling WinZip and install WinRAR instead. WinRAR will ask you you to buy a license after 30 days, but you can just dismiss the message and still use all functions.
