Woke up to find this on my door step

Well I'm in the USA at UTC -05:00. Used to work for a company that was headquartered in Sweden. The 6 hour difference made meetings a pain. XD I like the idea of the in-game meetup though. I'm gonna be very busy all weekend with other social obligations, so I'll try to make the next one.

Most of the idiots are your common internet Troll. They do this to everybody. The only defense is to not feed the trolls. Don't show a reaction, they get bored and go find someone who will react. The rest seem to be legitimate Homophobes. Any man who likes things outside of the societal norm must be gay. Gays are evil and must be stopped. Therefore hate, ridicule, and physical violence are seen as justified actions. Unfortunately I don't know how to stop them. I see most of the hate online on Youtube as well. I don't even bother reading comments there anymore.

I think a cafe or other small sandwich shop with space for game tables would work out better than a nightclub atmosphere. You could model it after one of the shops in Ponyville. It would be all ages, you could still play pony music and I might be able to find someone who plays the CCG. Opening in a college town would be better as the area would tend to be much more liberal and accepting of the fandom.

They need to tour. I'm on the wrong side of the country.

I like his music. I haven't listened to any of the story posts. I really need to just download them and just listen to them while I'm in my lab. My favorite song is Great to Be Different.

While I can see why someone would think they are making fun of the mentally challenged I still think they overreacted and like most outraged folks they probably didn't watch the show, they made an assumption based on a still image. It's the voice that probably does it more than anything else and while I'm alright with the original I'm also alright with them changing it. I work with a person who has Strabismus, which is the proper term for the "cross eye/ wall eye" condition. She is clumsy because of it as it severely hampers binocular vision and hence depth perception. She walks into door frames and hits tables all the time. Having Derpy be clumsy is an accurate portrayal of somepony with that condition. I also have a nephew and a cousin with Down Syndrome. I know how the mentally challenged act (well at least one type). What I saw when I watched The Last Roundup for the first time was not a mentally challenged pony. I saw a juvenile pony acting like a juvenile. She was obviously not helping to put up the decorations in that scene. She was like a kid jumping on the couch while mom tried to hang the decorations. If the voice was a little different I don't think there would have been any controversy. I'll just end this post with a nice song about Derpy, because Derpy
