    Oh wow, thanks for that! So the characters like Lemon Zest, Sugar Coat & all them that I've seen online are all form the series? I had no idea about that!

    So I've seen the 2 movies of Equestria Girls (which are the 1st EG & Rainbow Rocks) but I keep seeing other EG characters all over the place & I've heard of the friendship games somehow but I have no idea what that is. Is there another movie or have they started an EG TV series that I don't know about? it's ether that the EG characters I've seen on the internet are all fan made or they are actual characters in the show, I'm just asking out of curiosity but if someone could answer me that would be great thanks. Thanks for all your help everyone, I saw friendship games & it's great!

    Don't take this the wrong way but I would personally maybe just drop the brain removing idea, you could still replace that part of his story with another idea that will still go with the flow right?

    Well thanks for telling me. I remember sometimes watching the old MLP but never saw the mermaid ponies or are they called the sea ponies? But I don't think anyone has thought of "Mermares" right?

    I was thinking of 3 different designed candies, not copying Bon Bon's cutie mark but sorta similar to it.

    So @PonyPal123 & I thought of this idea to make mermaid ponies & we wanted to know what you think of it. We were thinking of calling them Mermares instead of mermaids but we were going to keep the mermen named mermen FYI if anyone has thought of the idea of making mermaid ponies we had no idea & we are not copying anyone, we thought of this idea all on our own & didn't here it anywhere else. Don't be afraid to be honest & please tell us what you think of it, thanks!

    Coming up with a whole backstory may be a little hard but maybe a part of it can be that he had to fight in some Pegasus war in the dark & thundery weather but he was able to survive & somehow he earned his cutie mark (but I guess it seems silly how a young colt would fight in a war so... ) also, I don't know if you needed help with his name but I think Lightning Knight or Silver Sword kinda suits him.

    Have you done any digital pictures yet?

    You could start with practicing tracing pony bases that you can find on the internet & eventually try to draw them on your own from scratch once you've gotten the hang of tracing them. I personally use pony bases that I find on the net to make my OC's because I'm not the best at drawing them from scratch but I can make the mane styles on my own & once I've finished, I draw them digitally on Inkscape.

    The names i came up with are Book Worm, Brainiac & Silver Hooves but she has a grey coat so... Grey Hooves? (i think i could come up with better names than that but those were the only names i had in mind so i thought i'll share them now)

    Ditto on changing the colours, not trying to say that they are bad colours but if i were to change anything about your OC's it would be to lessen the boldness, other than that they are good.

    I guess if your into nintendo then yes, they have good names & cutie marks. BTW i prefer Ultra Dash than Reality Dash & Super Dash than Super Famidash & Dolphin Dash than Super Dolphin, hope i helped!

    Not a bad idea but i know about the "Cadence being an orphan" story so if you just extend that story & say that Cadence was found with a younger filly (which they say is her younger sister) i think that would be a great story!

    I think she's cute! I love her cutie mark & she has a really unique mane style (in a good way) plus you wrote everything down really easy to understand, I wouldn't change her a bit!

    How about Icy Ink or Frozen Feather? (even though he isn't a pegasus, quills are basically feathers anyway)

    I think Cadence was actually born a pegasus but she became an alicorn somehow afterwards & that she's the cousin of Prince Blueblood from the mothers side & i was planning on making my OC Bluebloods other cousin from the fathers side but then i thought that my OC would have to be born an alicorn if i was going to make her born form a royal family but i still wasn't sure about that so that's why i wanted to find out about alicorns being born or made but his answer really helped out!

    I've been trying to find out if alicorns can be born alicorns or if they can only be made so if anyone could answer my question it will really help out for one of my OC's that i'm making.

    The name Misty Charm just came up in my head (misty as in filled or abounding with fog or mist & fog is normally a whitish grey colour which suits her coat & charm which is another word for magic spell) do you like it?
