Hello! I hope this day finds you well.
Don't hesitate to drop me a line if you need anything.
-
So if we hear your bells chime, do we get good luck for the rest of the week?
*Chimes them anyway!*

Happy Solstice Day everyone! Be safe on this longest night of nights, and give praise to our Princess of Dreams.
Only two days to go!

I almost expect to see Splashee buried under a pile of snow after all this time.

So, the last weekend before Christmas. Y'know what this calls for?
More Christmas Darkie!

Good Morning!
Hope everypony is doing well? For most of us, it's probably hump day, but it's also my Friday from work!
So that means Thursday and Friday will be my last chance to finish up my Christmas shopping. Not much left to sort out, but I hope it can be all done without much hassle.
Asides from that, the Board at work have kindly offered to take us out for a little Christmas gathering tonight at a fancy hotel. I guess it'll be a good time to try sweet talk my way into getting more funds for reenactment gear.
Not likely, though. We Irish are awful tightwads.

Here's a way to be considerate of others when using public transport: When you're on the phone, the rest of the bus doesn't need to hear your conversation. Stop yelling out your personal problems!
You can tell how my commute went this morning.

Hello forums! How is everyone's Sunday thus far? Hope you're all feeling refreshed and ready for another week~!
And if not, well, there's still time to rest up some more, if you hurry.
As for me, I've been in work all day. Just about getting ready to clock out, then it's onto the Sunday evening schedule. Still a few things to do.

Morning all!
Last night was pretty fun~! Had a nice Christmas-themed dinner with lots of turkey, ham, spuds 'n' gravy.
Afterwards, we were treated to a bit of a show with some traditional Irish jigs. Fun fact; I'm actually not the biggest fan of Irish music normally, but I couldn't fault what they had last night. It was a great performance.
See for yourself!

I can't help but grin stupidly at that picture of Dash.

Hope everyone has a good start to the weekend~! Just one more to go after this before Christmas.
I'm off to my workplace Christmas party this evening. Nothing too crazy planned, but looking forward to dinner nevertheless.
It is up in the mountains, though... better remember to wrap up.

Christmas a humbug, @Kyoshi? You don't mean that, I'm sure.

This was an enjoyable evening.
Every year around this time, the cathedral across from my work hosts a special carol service for therapy and service dogs across the city. Their owners or caretakers are encouraged to bring them along and meet with other local canines who are involved in the field, and to take part in a few unique activities throughout the service recognizing their work and ability.
What this also means is a hall full of adorable doggos that love it when you go up and pet them!
Overall, it was really fun. It's great to see the kind of joy our oldest friends can give towards others who need them.

Yeah, I know that I'm generalizing. Guess I've just begun to notice it more now that I'm usually working with them on a more frequent basis.
Some children are as good as gold while others just treat you like you're a toy and abuse you as such. They have no concept of empathy towards others and believe they can get away with anything because their parents are either inattentive or because they haven't been taught any sense of self-discipline.
Again, I'm aware this is not inherently the child's fault, just something I've been seeing a little more recurringly these days.

@Splashee That could be arranged in a future update, perhaps.

Well, I do agree with that assessment. Back when I was a kid, we would not mess with those much older than us. We would not mess with the 16-17 year olds as they could stuff us in snow or something. Nowadays, kids have phones and know to the extent that they can cause legal problems if they want (thank you nanny state). So kids are becoming more bratty than they were before because of the coddling they are receiving.
I do not think this will translate well into their future~

Good evening and pleasant salutations, Forum Friends! Hope you've all had a good weekend and are feeling refreshed enough to tackle another week.
Spent my weekend down at a country house with a few close friends. Sometimes it's nice to be able to step away from the busy city and escape to quieter lands for a while. Sleeping in these places is such a breeze~
Well, except when the house mice start scratching at the walls.
Overall though, it was a nice couple of days catching up with friends and getting up to some silliness.
Now to get ready for work again.

Good morning, all! I hope this Thursday finds you well.
Have a Sketchy Horse~

@Totally Nyx Fairly certain that most 3D printers are capable of engraving an image proving that one has been scanned. Unfortunately I don't really have enough experience with them personally to know the intricacies of how it works

Just witnessed someone getting their phone swiped right from their hands by a thief on a bike.
Seriously guys, be vigilant with your belongings wherever you are. Especially at this time of the year at night. Don't walk around alone with your phone out in front of you. You're a beacon for these kind of thieves.
Think smart and stay safe.

I keep being surprised every time I see Splashee turn to face me in the banner.

Good morning, forum friends!
We're now three days into December and so far there's been a lot to smile about.
Just learned this morning that we'll be getting a 'Christmas Fair' put into work for a while. I've no idea what's it going to entail yet, but I wonder if it means getting to add a Santa hat to my Medieval outfit.
They had Santa hats back then, right?

Happiest of Birthdays to you, Venny! I hope this day brings you all that you wish and more~!
