Noire It's not a vibe It was the time Now onto the song you posted That, THAT IS THE GOOD SHIT 9/10 I love Chinese music like this, very nice song you have there my friend. I kinda feel like I am ruining a mood by posting this next song now but I wrestled between this and a classical piece that I like and I am more interested in presenting this one so here.

    You are right other genres are represented but when I first saw this thread a about I think 10 days ago It was like NOTHING but like metal and hard rock for like four consistant pages back so I decided to start posting some more... flavorful music. No offence to any one of the ppl who may enjoy that music but I just saw a chain of stagnancy that I didn't exactly want to break because I knew I couldn't, but I wanted to mix things up a bit. I have mostly been representing Electronic Music and Vaporwave as well as unintentionally being the premier provider of Soundcloud embeds for this thread as oppose to Youtube. Pretty nice Jazz tune BTW 8/10 I really enjoy jazz and I think I will link an old song in response

    Nice song 7/10 Real refreshing to see something in here that isn't metal or hard rock The only issue I have with this song is that the vocals sound a tad drowned out by the instrumentals at times Welp It was only a matter of time before this happend I post a a rating and a small review and surprise a new post is there So this new song So what is this? A mashup of Need You Tonight by INXS and Eye of the Tiger by Survivor? It sounds nice I don't really get the tony the tiger sample but you can go wrong with Need You Tonight 7.5/10

    Ok Discordant Harmony I actually really like the synopsis for this episode so I think we may be in for an intere-.... Written by Mike and Wil Fox ..... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF *Sigh* So another episode written by the wonderful writing wizards, the Fox bros. Fuck it, you already know this episode will get a thrashing from me. Whenever I see that the Fox Bros wrote an episode, I pretty much see red. They are bar none the WORST writers in the entire 7 year run of the show at this point IMO and I am legitimately terrified that they will become the show runners for season 8. Discordant Harmony is, to the surprise of no one, BAD in my opinion. Why is it bad? I hear you ask. Well I guess I can try and tell you. This episode is basically Spice Up Your Life 2.0 but you know WORSE. While SUYL wasn't an amazing episode or anything it was okay...ish (6.9/10). The message was basically be yourself. don't just copy everyone else to be good, and this episode's message is don't change yourself or put on a mask for someone else so BE YOURSELF. This episode played out like a bad shipfic that was animated. When the only good thing about your episode are singing teabags, you might want to work on things a bit. As for the pacing I can see this episode suffers from Dungeons & Discords syndrome where you get 2 acts of nothing and one act of something. So that is another shining plus demerit. Character interactions... well Fluttershy is in a pretty strong Pinkie Pie mode in terms of her... energy in this episode. Discord is acting more like how Twilight would if Princess Celestia was coming when I don't really think he would care all that much if he trusts Fluttershy to accept him the way he is AND HE SHOULD. Fluttershy figures out what is wrong with Discord WAY TOO QUICK and with NO INPUT from Discord himself. Let's not have Fluttershy find out what is wrong with Discord through a couple lines of dialogue. Let's just have her instantly know cause you know, more money less work, am I right? Lets not have a interisting scene where Discord explains to Fulttershy what is happening to him and even potentially have some world building in that regard. He could have not been sure what was happening and given Fluttershy a hint to go on and have her figure it out from there. but that would actually take some effort and talent the likes of which the writers involved with this episode do not appear to possess. "Nah let's have Discord go "What do you mean?" "Oh Really?" "What are you talking about?" While Fluttershy just magically knows everything. Besides it's show for stupid kids, they ain't gonna care, now let's get home dinner is getting cold." I... I just can't with this episode 5.5/10

    I am sorry but I fucking hate this this so.... 0/10 The worst kind of metal for me is this screaming shit. If you like it then cool, more power to you but for me this was physically painful to listen to. been meaning to post this one for a while

    Well damn, you sure gave this song a thrashing... Umm but since you asked what I like about It... I suppose I will tell you I just like the unique sound of the song. The lead in to the first drop has some pretty nice vocals with sort of a groovy instrumental that I really like. Then as for the drop I think it hits hard and has a very different sound. I like the unique way the vocals in the drop are cut up. I like songs like this that try to be experimental and don't really sound like anything else you would hear. This is the kind of real unique stuff that I think you are hard pressed to find nowadays. If you don't like it, that's fine. But I think this song is real good with it's very different sound As for the song you posted here it's meh 5/10 Sorry It not really my style I think it's time I showed this thread... some waves of vapor

    Thankfully this wasn't nearly as bad as I feared 6/10 I wish I could give it a bit higher but I don't like the male vocals. the female vocals are good. Got a real happy song for ya here and it's pony

    Super Super calming No offence but this sounds like something I would hear at a funeral. It's a slow droning piano melody and that's all it is... uhhh 5.5/10 sounds nice but it's not really my thing. Also you seem to really REALLY dislike my taste in music LOL "Rytmeklubben: 3/10. Repetitive, annoying, bad vocals. Some variety and melody helps it from going lower." "Louis the Child: 2/10. Slow for no good reason, boring, and slightly annoying. The singing is sub-par, the instruments are repetitive and fairly simple, and it has very few reedeming qualities from what I can hear." So sorry you feel that way, hopefully when you get to this song you won't dislike it as well

    This song sounds like it samples a riff from a kiss song I know next to nothing about rock or sampling within the rock genre but either way this sounds nice 6/10 Now let's get weird

    Ask me this question about 3 or 4 years ago and I would have told you that all this electronic music is cancer Dubstep is cancer, electronic music is not real music, I hate the crappy electronic remixes of pony songs in the brony community, I like only 80's music However today I don't know what to tell ya. I am in love with stuff like Future Bass and Vaporwave, yes I like Vaporwave... A LOT... listening to some Vaportrap while typing this. In regards to what music I think is better... I am not sure, I want to say older music but I feel like that's too general. I love a lot of newer music I am hearing. I will concede it is a lot easier to make music today than it was back in the 70's- 80's. However this is the opinion of someone of someone with a larger than average scope and knowledge of genres. My stance here stems from this knowledge and all the unique and ethereal music I have heard in studying these genres though documentary videos and my own personal observations. If you want my more limited stance on this and you just take into account mainstream music, I will tell you in a heartbeat that older music is WAY better than the crap today. I barely listen to mainstream music anymore, it's all boring and samey. My musical home lies in genres like future bass, and more interesting obscure stuff, however I don't like how mainstream future bass has been becoming as of late. So I guess I like both equally. if we are talking about newer music from obscure and hidden genres such as Vaporwave, Vaportrap Future Funk, non-mainstream Future Bass, Jungle Terror, Melbourne Bounce, Tropical House, Electro Swing, Chill Bass, stuff like that. Then I have no choice but to say newer music is better since most of those genres were created post 2010. However if you want to talk strictly about mainstream. I believe the music of the 70's 80's and 90's have much more to offer than today. Some music today is good, I like a few Drake songs, a few Taylor Swift songs, and hell even a couple Justin Bieber songs. However on the whole the 00's were an absolutely abysmal decade for music, and the 10's while better by quite a sizable margin have only been OK in my opinion. So I do think older music is a lot better in that aspect.

    Rarity Best (in no particular order) -Sisterhooves Social (205) [I don't think I need to explain this one I think it's pretty obvious.] -A Dog and Pony Show (119) [Showed that she could stick up for herself and hold her own in the face of danger... also whining] -Inspiration Manifestation (423) [Dark magic Rarity is very interesting] -Rarity Investigates (515) [I like detective stories and I loved this episode and how rarity solved the crime right under RD's muzzle] Worst (again in no real order) -The Gift of Maud Pie (603) [WAY too hyper] -Forever Filly (706) [Too hyper again] -The Cart Before The Ponies (614) [Selfish bitch, also applies to Applejack and Rainbow Dash in that episode] -Spice Up Your Life (612) [Rarity wanting the restaurant to be the same as all the rest during the song I think severely conflicts with her character. I thought she was all about uniqueness.]

    Well It took 7 years but we finally got a Celestia and Luna episode from Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco and I loved it! I don't know where to begin with this episode I am just so happy with it. This is the quality of pony I want every week, these two really know what they are doing! I should start off explaining what caught me the most off guard. The introduction of Daybreaker was just... that is some season finale level shit right there. I was very surprised to see a villain that powerful and menacing in a non-season finale or premier episode, I know she wasn't exactly real but she was still there. I knew going into this episode that it was gonna be special. It was very standout from just the synopses alone. This episode just has so much great to talk about. the battle scenes with Daybreaker, Nightmare Moon, and Celestia were great. Luna's nightmare was CREEPY AS FUCK. The scene where Starlight switched the princesses cutie marks felt very real and flowed very well. None of the scenes made me look away from the screen in cringe which has been happening more than I care for it to in recent episodes. If I have to nitpick, the only thing I didn't like in this episode was Twilight. I don't know, it's like she had an extra helping of sugar this episode. She just seemed eh off... little to hyper if you ask me. But this is fairly minor seeing as she didn't have too much screen time in the episode so I can give it a pass. All and all I LOVED this episode and I give it 8.4/10 Thankfully A Royal Problem didn't end up being a royal problem of an episode and thank Celestia it didn't.

    Since a few people have posted here I will now talk about the channels I have discovered and subscribed to recently I see these first two as sort of a package deal, that is to say when you have found one you have pretty much found the other. They are both friends with each other and they have made a couple videos together and all that. Jaiden Animations TheOdd1sOut Both of them are sort of animated story-time channels, but also some vlogs, and just animations about silly things. Both of them are real fun channels and I gave them both a subscription. LowPonView He dose pony themed "Everything Wrong With" videos but what sets him apart from the likes of LittleshyFiM and Moliminous is that he dose EWW's of MLP fan videos and not official episodes, and I like that concept. I tired reviewing mostly MLP fan works for a few months back in 2014 so it reminds me of what I tried to do. DJT Great music, Amazing future bass tracks, check him out. Shesez This person has been gaining a lot of traction lately for his Boundary Break series I discovered him a couple months back and subscribed to him just now (cause I have been meaning to) if you like stuff like DidYouKnowGaming then I recommend you check this person out. His Boundary Break series is basically him with this special camera tool and he looks around at areas in the game players wouldn't normally be able to see. Fair warning though, some of the earlier episodes are pretty cringy. And lastly Internet Historian Interesting channel, semi-famous for his video on Dashcon 2014. A documentary-esq channel I would say. He dose videos talking about notable internet related events like the Habbo Hotel pool's closed thing, the aforementioned dashcon video, and more recently, a video talking about fake Iphone upgrade advertisements that fooled people back around 2013. I have a few people in mind that I will mention but I will wait to see if this thread gets any posts first before I share mine. So yeah.

    I want to talk about my review that I wrote of the episode Normally I wouldn't respond to something like this but I have gotten enough replies that I feel I need to address and rectify some things First off I do realize (now) that the comment about Sweetie Belle living with Rarity wasn't entirely accurate I was just saying that going off of thinking of a few episodes where Sweetie Belle is staying with Rarity. We haven't seen their parent's since that one season 2 episode so I apologize that slipped my mind I was thinking of more recent episodes. Now the thing about calling the Fox Bros the Give No Fux Bros. Ok I will admit that was very immature of me and I apologize for that. But in my defense I haven't liked any of the episodes they have written and I just don't think their writing is on par with the other show writers. I think their episodes are considerably lower quality writing wise and a lot of their humor is mostly miss in my opinion. If you like their episodes wither its this one or one of the three they wrote in season 6 then more power to you but I don't like them. If I write another review of one of their episodes this season I will address them properly but they ARE my least favorite writers on staff as of this episode. I admit my criticisms were very harsh and now that I am more controlled and calmed down I will admit I don't really like the way I worded them but they are still issues I had with the episode. So if you saw my review and didn't like what I had to say or my criticisms let me say I have heard you and I am sorry and I will be more respectful in the future.
