Oh shit! you know your commentary community, I thought I was the only one. You are right about Guptill and joshua but I can name you a few other bandwagons through the years like Salormoonred1 (guy who like to play with dolls in front of a webcam) LifeInATent (thumbs up for epic earthquake LIAT-2011) TheGemOf99 (more recent bandwagon, he just makes bad comms) Meta527ii (Stalker) GurigorloX (smaller bandwagon, just another idiot) Chirs Chan (if you don't know who Chirs Chan is you haven't been online for too long) Eddythefalsepriest (another recent bandwagon, don't know much about him) All of these people have been rather violently ripped apart by the commentary community, though today you don't see many bandwagons because they usually all gang up on someone in one huge Co-op (See a channel on youtube called BunchOfPusdoIntellectuals or BoP for short)

The sort of commentaries described remind me of a group of people I know of that call themselves "The Commentary Community" which really amounts to a group of tightly knit youtubers/ friends who all make the same style of commentaries, this being cut-away commentaries. The term cut-away is used because every time the commentator has a point to make they would cut away to a still image of a character from an anime, show, or what have you they choose to represent them self and alternate images depending on what they saying, and just in case you are curious, yes, there are cut away commentators, quite a surprising number actually, who use ponies from the show as these representative characters. These cut-away commentaries mainly consist of criticizing the video for its flaws, sometimes very harshly, while mixing jokes into the points for good measure. So even thought this "Commentary Community" I know of has gone through drama after drama, I still find enjoyment in cut-away commentaries. I generally enjoy seeing some idiot get served a slice of cold logic, especially if that person deserves it. This cut-away style was highly popular from 2010-2014 and since 2014 it has not been seen as much. Don't get me wrong, these cut-away commentaries are still around, but just not as common as they once were, that community community sort of tore its self apart. More modern commentaries, at least from my experience and what I have seen, blur the line between commentary and reaction videos. They show a part of the video and cut back to the "commentator" making a joke or reacting to it is some humorous way, usually with game play CoD, CS:GO, or some other shooter game playing on screen. These videos are OK but I don't like them as much as I like traditional commentaries. These people seem more focused on making jokes and poking fun of the video and that's fine but... Can you really call them commentaries? You say commentaries and someones mind will snap to what I just described and they call them commentaries, but honestly they feel more like reaction videos to me. So, In summary, I enjoy commentaries and I have no issue with them, but I feel the word commentary is getting muddled with to the point where people are getting confused as to what an actual commentary is, which is annoying.

Well I don't have any play sessions any longer than like 7 or so hours. I think my longest was Fallout 3 I fell in love with the game when I first bought it and once played it for about 7 hours straight. But My friend once played 14 hours of Starbound in one day He also plays Warframe for 5 hours or longer at a time almost daily I also recall when another friend of mine spent 9 hours on Garry's mod

The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask I don't use the term art often but i would describe The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, as art. Majora's Mask is a game that has so many underlying themes beneath the surface that it's astounding. There is a theme of death and grief seen thoughout the game that isn't present in other Zelda's. There are also themes of growing up, letting go of the past, restless spirits, all in the last level of the game alone. I believe that you owe it to yourself to play either Majora's Mask or Ocarina of Time at least once before you die. If you try to play Majora's Mask, play any version of it except the 3DS remake and you will not be disappointed, Seriously that remake is so bad it makes me weep, they fucked it up SO MUCH! I don't know about this, Its better than go... well ANYTHING is better than go but I really don't know. Dose Robin sound REALLY young to anyone? Like too young? Like 10 years old or something? I mean I know hes a teenager but I'm not the only one hearing this right? I mean it shows promise but it just seems like this movie is going to be edgy for the sake of being edgy. I heard words like hell and god in the trailer which honestly sounded forced and like a cheap way of saying, "guys look! Its not some kid shit, this is the real deal! God and hell, look how 2 edgy 5 me we are." I liked the show back in the mid 2000's but there is something about this movie that just seems... off. Not saying it's bad so please don't kill me! I'm just saying something about this don't seem right.

I don't like the ending to Fallout 3 You are supposed to go and turn on the water purifier but then you are told that the radiation level in the purification chamber is high and you will die if you go into it. Even though the actual radiation you are contracting within the chamber peaks at about 25 per second on the side opposite of where the numpad is, and at the numpad where you actually have to activate the purifier the radiation is about 3 per second. so basically the game kills you off when you really have no reason to be killed off (I know Broken Steel has you waking up two weeks later, alive and well and offers a much more satisfying ending overall but I'm talking about the vanilla ending to Fallout 3 with no DLC.) And the real slap in the face is, if you have a partner who is Immune to radiation with you and you send them into the purification chamber instead of yourself so no one has to die but the mission can still be completed, which is much more satisfying and kindhearted in my book. The game will berate you, saying. "In the end the lone wanderer chose not to follows his fathers selfless example." I think, something along those lines. With my response to that being ok well fuck you too game, so sorry I didn't die when I didn't have to but still completed my mission without a hitch.

23 now, got into the show when I was 18. I've told this story on other threads so I'll just give the abridged version here. MLPFiM came along at a dark time in my life when I really needed it the most and I believe the show shaped how I'am today in a large way. The brony community is great and while its not as pure as it was in late 2011 - early 2012 when I discovered it, it is still the most creative and widely accepting community I have seen, as well as the nicest.

Hmmm... I have always wondered what it would be like to be in one of these reacts... I don't think I would like to participate in this one though mainly due to time constraints. If you do another one of these and I catch wind of it earlier, I will highly consider joining if you would be looking for new people to react that is. Not sure if you will make a new thread or just revive this one when and or if that happens, but I'll keep an eye on this.

I wouldn't run for president because its a brutally stressful job that isn't worth the ponies, the money, or the hair I would lose... I love my hair. Me being a brony wouldn't have anything to do with that, I just hate politics.

As someone who has never had a Girlfriend, Valentines day has had no meaning to me since like Middle School. I don't see Valentines Day as a real holiday. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding It's a hallmark holiday. A holiday that was conceived at a conference table to be celebrated on a certain day and was one that just so happened to stick. Even though i don't see Valentines day as a real Holiday, I'm sure it will have meaning to me once I do get a Girlfriend, but until then, It's just February 14th.

My reaction to Fine bros reaction series. Teens react/ Kids react- not bad I guess, makes for good content, I suppose. Youtubers react- I like this, kinda like bronies react, only It's famous youtubers, and its not pony related. Elders React- Ummm... O-Ok I guess I can see how that could work out but this is kinda pushing it Adults React- Are you kidding me!? It's just the original cast of teens react! What, Fine bros, couldn't let your original cash cows grow up and move on with their lives? Were their original reactions that amazing that you have to make adults react just to use them again? wow, pathetic! Parents React- Oh, hear that... Its the sound of no one giving a fuck as you have officially run the react train so far into the ground that I'm surprised anyone even watches this pointless trite anymore. Seriously? I live in Wisconsin? How do you think I'm doing? WINTERS HERE ARE LEGENDARILY BRUTAL. This year its actually not that bad, I mean yeah, we have a few inches of snow and been through a couple days of single digit/ below zero temperatures, but It could be worse. I heard about Winter storm Jonas and how D.C. and 10 northeastern states are under a state of emergency with New York City Suffering It's second worst winter storm in history. So i hope all those guys are all right.
