    Everything...Everything about this episode is award worthy. I cried I cheered...I felt something, and I wish I could feel it every day of my life. In a world with people so dark so narrow minded (he k even people on this forum that see pat simple differences in others) ...we get something as beautiful as this song filled wonder. Sisterly bonding, complete character arches, amazing animation, and development...oh the devopment. I have stopped watching pony fan reviews (they have goo d hearts...but dat drama though) but after this...I'm tempted to see silver quills opinion. Th Hasbro...my thanks.

    Ok so just got done watching Scare Master the accidently early released nightmare night episode for this year....and Ra-ra's mermaid custom looks an aaaafffffuuuuuul lot like a Siren...Hasbro you are getting way to close to my ultimate fantasy here!

    Im gonna assume this is in regards to FG and not the spectrum of EQ movies to pick from (because we all know that answer would be Adagio!) As for the FG cast, im a bit torn. Sour Sweet made me wanna be her sub any day of the week, but oddly something about Cinch had my head turning. Cadance would be a close 3rd....those mommy hips! Also sidebar topic, why doesnt human Celestia wear her hair like her pony version. That over the eye is great!

    Nah its fine, he is the typical doormat male and she is the Alpha of the pair. You see this type of relationship IRL constantly ever since the gender role flip in the late 90s. Personally I enjoy them as a couple, in ancient times many royalty had suitors or mates that where a part of the local military/mercenary force.

    Well, imho. Being one of the VERY bronies that believe Celestia is best princess, It's always been my opinon she rules hard. Perhaps not the Iron-hoof treatment but she strikes me as the type to know everything as much as possible.

    cough...you know these films writting is on par with the shows right? Characters like Sunny or Adagio have the bonus of an actual task that doesnt include a flavor of the week villian showing up or some estranged relative. The answer to your question however, is people LOVE anything to do with mlp its part of being induldged something. Hasbro could put out a 30 second clip of spike reading a comic book and we would rabidly download it. Face it, they got us by the short hairs...wouldnt change a thing!

    I feel this film was a "subtle" nod to character development. If you watch it with an analitical eye you will notice alot of things, for example for all the Rarijack lovers notice how they where a duo during the montage. This films writting and directing was amazing to say the least....but we need more Angry Sunny i lost it at that scene. Soo good.

    If you rewatch EQ1 you might notice simmilar things happening with Sunny, personally i think its a theme.

    Exactly. I want to see her "like this" more often. I really have high hopes for the next film and I would love to see her "fall off the wagon" again. I get she is popular with the fanbase, broken characters generally are (exp. Dinobot from beastwars) and every pony loves an anti-hero.

    oh your totally right, film wise FG is leagues ahead of RR, but RR had the sirens.....and character wise they had 90 minutes to develop them while the Shadow bolts had SECONDS. I'm in love with Sour Sweet but i havent seen enough of her to say write a fiction about or draw art because like the rest of the SBs she had little to no screen time. FG had alot of good ideas and really dropped the ball on them, im happy with what it DID do, but i can blatenly see what it didnt do because of its short 90 run time...the film needed another hour, i just dont "connect" with any of the new characters like i did with the sirens
