My spirit animal is the Raven, witch is funny since I picked that alias years before I discovered Animal Totems. It's an excellent, if somewhat random animal guide to live with. Here's a semi quick rundown on Raven Totem: http://www.spirit-animals.com/raven/Based on my research I say this site has most stuff right, although there are some inconsistencies. Also, that site Venomous pointed tells about your Native American birth Totem, witch may or may not correspond with your main animal spirit guide, witch you must discover yourself and no online test will make it for you... -
It may sound... uninspired (and that's putting it lightly), but I believe that, if I were to have a familliar, it would probably take the guise of a raven. I would not give It a name, unless It presented one to me, since we name what we know and posess, and It would be neither. (There's a saying that you can't have a Raven, it has you) I reckon It would choose this appearance based on my fondness of Corvids, the fact that Raven is my "spirit animal" and I share many traits that are attributed to the animal. It would probably perch on my shoulder as I do things, offering advice.

Unfortunately I don't know that much about turbo, since my own car doesn't have one, but the guy who's car it was pushed that poor Delta to it's limits and beyond during those ten minutes. Basically he was driving on narrow country roads with the pedal to the metal non-stop. (he's known for reckless driving)

Well... considering that SunsetxFlash was just the usual High School Drama "(Evil) Alpha B***h has the (Good) Big Man on Campus as a trophy boyfriend", and, if I recall correctly, she did admit that she wanted him just to improve her social status and there was no love involved, I wouldn't be all that suprised if they became rather indifferent to each other once the truth came out. Plus, Flash fell for Twilight, so it's not like they had a chance to rebuild anyway. -
I like many cars, but if I had to pick just one, I'd totally pick Lancia Lybra, witch I already own (maybe with leather seats instead of Alcantara) Fillies and Gentlecolts, BEHOLD! Although if I could afford to buy and maintain every car in existence, I'd pick Lancia Thesis.

*UPDATE - the character has been scrapped* Greetings and salutations, fellow pony enthusiasts! Today, I'd like to ask for your assistance in making the OC I devised, seaworthy. Or atleast more or less believeable. So, without further ado, here's the link to the OC database entry: *UPDATE - the character has been scrapped* I admit I'm rather bad with names, so I would appreciate any suggestions in this area. The current one is more of a placeholder really. I'm interested in Your opinions, from general impressions to specific issues that you may notice. For example, if the backstory holds any water, if the personality doesn't seem like a couple shipwrecks bolted together, or if the colour pallette is an eyesore like a viciously pink sail in high noon. Also, please keep in mind that, while making the OC, I played heavily to the Affably Evil trope (External link to TV Tropes, SFW), hence the unusual, a bit double sided personality. Now, since the OC itself is a griffon, I'd like to ask You, whenever I should use facial expressions with this toon or not. Canon griffon characters in-show do emote with their faces, but those teeth look weird. Plus, real beaks don't smile (thanks, Cpt. Obvious!), so... I'm in a bit of a rut. While RP-ing a stone faced character could be fun, making him a friendly sort without seeming aloof could be tricky. I'm curious what's the general consensus in this area. Last but not least, I'm not very emotionally invested in this toon, and it's not a ponyso I-I mean, griffonsona? So if some part is leaking badly, I'll just remake it. Honestly I expect atleast a few holes in his hull. So, yeah, I think that's about it. I eagerly await for any replies. And remember - in this case, I appreciate Honesty over Kindness. *UPDATE - the character has been scrapped*

As an avid fan of the 2004 animated series, I'm afraid I can summarise my opinion in this infographic: To be more precise, the voice cast sounds different (even though the voice actors are availible and still voice those characters in the GO series), Garfield is wearing a modified "Changeling" suit rather than Doom Patrol one, and who is this blue guy? Also, the whole Versus theme is more akin to "kids rescuing their parents" than anything else. I'll pass on this one. -
Now that's a tough one. I daresay it's both subjective and objective at the same time. Allow me to explain: It's objective, because nearly every genre has "rules", witch define said genre. On top of that, there's the general music theory witch encompasses keys, timing and a slew of other, measurable aspects of music. Some are set in stone, like timing - you can't change it during a song. But some are more like guidelines, or a time tested way of obtaining good results, like keys. Imagine you have a song in C major key. Does it mean you can't use notes from outside the key? No siree! You can, but it requires more skill to incorporate them, and, yes, there are rules to applying them. And there are songs that break the "soft" rules in order to create something entirely new - if they succeed, they will be blueprints for new rules witch help schieve simillar effect. Music is also subjective, because people have different tases in music. So even though a specific song may be a masterpiece in technical terms, it still will be too X or not enough Y to some people. What's more, music is a very emotional medium, so obviously a liquid pride inducing score for one person will be meh for another.

Good thing public education in Poland is free on all levels, Uni included. Although back in my time schoolbooks were very expensive.
I'm trying realy hard to save some money to have a cushion in case my car malfunctions. Last month I unexpectedly had to do the differencial and it nearly ruined my finances... Not to mention that I'll need approx 20 000 PLN in like, 5 years max, in order to switch to Alfa 159 before my beloved Lancia begins to show age real bad.

Got bored at work, so I began thinking of some kinda OC. Soon I have an awesome backstory and whatnot, but the toon is a griffon (I just don't know what went wrong). Now I have it on a chopping block and can't decide if should I axe it or finish it...

I believe in the Multiverse, but I'd rather explain it as sheets of paper (Universes) lying on top of each other, separated by the thin veil of the fourth dimention. It makes more sense that way when you take Big Bang as the outpour of matter and energy from another Universe (when the veil dissipates in one place, allowing passage). I've read some theories that a Universe has a life cycle, expanding and then shrinking back, with a Big Bang as a restart. So, yeah, I believe in the Multiverse, since scientific facts do not disprove it, and some believeable theories need a Multiverse in order to work.

Commisar Ciaphas Cain, Hero of the Imperium (Warhammer 40000). An antihero who thinks about his own survival first, and could be easily labelled a coward compared to the usual "big frakking heroes" like Superman. Yet despite his reluctancy to putting himself in danger in favour of enjoying good wine and pleasant company, he can do outright heroic deeds if the situation demands it. He's not a cardboard cutout - he has real emotions, including fears, yet he can conquer them in order to get stuff done like a true Hero of the Imperium. It's not about being fearless, but managing to overcome fear. -
As I gaze thorough the window, on this starless, moonless night, I find myself wondering: "why go on?" Out of habit? Because one should? To propagate this blasted species? Of the myriad reasons I can't find even one to call mine... Geez, I'm getting sentimental with age or something.

Honestly, I hate it with a passion of a burning Sun. Once I turned 18 I catched up with my peers real quick and actually put them in shame with taking a 250 ml 60% vodka in one swing at the High School prom (everyone was like "what? how?"). I got rather drunk, but the teachers didn't notice (or rather didn't act, since all the guys were %%%). I also got really hammered on an outdoor "buck school, let's burn the books" outdoor party once we graduated - so much actually that I don't remember how I came back home. So yeah, I know how this stuff works on me... I know my reactions on all levels of intoxication, and I can still stand after a 0,5 l bottle of vodka, so it's not that bad. Though I don't know then I've had enough, and if I start, I;ll go untill either all bottles are dry or I see thermal (yeah, I did once). Sometime later I decided that I don't like alcohol one bit, and nowadays I won't even drink a glass of champagne on New Year. I just don't like it, and made a rational decision, yet everyone thinks I'm overreacting from my previous "experiences". Plus, drinking in Poland is rather mandatory, so bonus weird points for me.

I'm actually suprised no one posted this yet: Silliness aside, I like the overall color palette of the new Princess. She inherited most from her mother, but that's hardly suprising. That blue streak in her mane and tail is a nice touch though. Those flappers though... It's like she's the Princess of strategical bombers or something. I'll call her B52 XD Also, I don't know if M.A. Larson had something to do wih her design, but he should totally be her Godfather. I'd sign a petition to Hasbro for that. -

If mana were introduced alongside magic in FiM

Now that's an interesting idea. Hmm, the current Equestrian magical system is based on the wielder's power of concentration to perform complex mental tasks required to make a spell work (or atleast it appears to be the case), so mana has no place in unicorn magic. Though some other racces could potentially make use of it... The best idea I can come up with off the top of my head is magitech. Basicaly a race with advanced magical science could harness magical power (or mana), encase it in some corporeal vessel, and use it as fuel for their apparatus. Gemstones seem like a good option. With a stable power source, you could create simple golems and other magically powered devices, though they would have to be manually controlled, unless you could encase a "spirit" in it, in order to have an operator. That's how golems work in RPG's. For an example, check out Asura from Guild Wars 2. Other than that, mana could be used in a variesty of ways: as a magical steroid, a way to speed up recovery from injuries, the possibilities are endless for those who know how it works. -

Well, to be honest the overall character design and colors are rather well picked, considering the parent's pallettes, but those flappers belong to a B17, not a newborn filly! Though I think she's a couple months old already, since she's bigger than baby Cakes, so that could explain the more natural looking eyes.

Well, both Cadance and Twilight ascended to alicornhood, so it's quite a shock that one can actually be one from the day one. Alicornhood was seen a kind of a ultimate reward, and now everypony suddenly realised the importance of birth control... That's why I hoped for a baby unicorn, but apparently Hasbro was like "new Pwincess, new toys, get ALL the monies!
