Yup, this one is good. Of course it needs that obligatory fart joke, but it's funny and has a good song. I especially like how even Posey was impressed by the performance and the reveal at the end that the guy they thought was a critic was just a guy who likes drawing despite his appearance reminding me of the critic from Ratatouille. I was not expecting the real critic to be disguised as a chair.

Except she did leave the castle, did all sorts of things to harm others, and almost took over Equestria. If you do not like anything about G5, why do you come to the G5 section of the forums?

Too many favorites to count, but my favorite right now is Magic in Us and I can not stop listening to With a Little Creativity. BEST. IZZY SOLO. EVER.

I have no idea why they're controversial. Unlike the dragons in FiM, they're not just jerks for the sake of it. Although it's hard to pick a favorite with none of them having that much character at the moment, I guess I'd go with Fountain. I'm interested in what her backstory with being locked in a dungeon would be about and a dragon, normally associated with fire, having water powers is cool too.

Honestly surprised most are liking Chapter 6 best so far, even with it having my favorite episode of the series, the Roots of All Evil two-parter. Well-liked and generally regarded to be a good chapter as it is, the people who haven't liked it have been far harsher on it than Chapter 4. If you're curious as to how I would rank the chapters, it would be like this from worst to best... 6. Chapter 1 5. Chapter 3 4. Chapter 2 3. Chapter 5 2. Chapter 6 1. Chapter 4 Chapter 1, despite being far better than what it's made out to be, is easily the show's weakest part as a result of Atomic Cartoons still learning the ropes. Chapter 3 is a great holiday special, but I'm not ranking one special higher than a batch of episodes. Chapter 2 is even more underrated than Chapters 1 and 3, some people were even calling it confusing when I was able to understand everything going on in it perfectly and it only gets better the more you see how they're setting everything up. Chapter 5 is pretty good, even as I actually like Father of the Bridlewood and the Halloween special better than Family Trees. Chapter 6 was an awesome end to the show's first story arc to me and I already really like the setup for the next story arc in my favorite special. Chapter 4 is still my favorite part though with it having my second favorite special, my second favorite episode, and my all-time favorite part of the story, Misty's reformation.

How has no one pointed out yet that this has been fully proven to be possible with Opaline literally becoming a fire alicorn?

Now that Make Your Mark has given us all its ordered content that we currently know of, I think this is the perfect time to ask you all what your favorite chapter of the show is. I have a good feeling that most people will say Chapter 4, with it being the most popular chapter of the series, and (at least virtually) no one will say Chapter 1, with even me feeling that it's deservedly the least popular chapter of the series. However, there are people who like Chapter 5 better than Chapter 4 and Chapter 6's two-parter is viewed by some to be the best episode of the entire show, even better than Chapter 4's Missing the Mark. I'm sure the later chapters will dominate given that they're generally viewed to be better than the early chapters, something I agree with, but if you feel the early chapters deserve more love, be my guest.

I do wish Opaline's backstory had been expanded on more and I stand by what I said with wanting her to have more complexity...but she's still a step up from FiM's irredeemable villains in that regard.

I honestly thought that she was a great villain, loved how much buildup she got. I do feel that some more complexity to her character was sacrificed to make her more of a comical villain, but she is so entertaining.

My top 5 would have to be... 5. The Manesquerade Ball 4. Have You Seen This Dragon? 3. Secrets of Starlight 2. Missing the Mark 1. Roots of All Evil (both parts) There were so many episodes I thought were awesome, but that is my top 5 from the episodes listed.

Anyone who knows about G5 leakers knows about mdash, given that mdash is the most prominent G5 leaker who got every MYM chapter release date right and has only ever shared information about upcoming G5 content that has turned out to be true (unless you count the Secrets of Starlight joke ).

What did you guys feel about the latest chapter of Make Your Mark? I know it was kind of weird with it coming out on Thanksgiving when every pony was busy, but I was able to watch everything early yesterday and even already have my full review of it (major spoilers in it, so read at your discretion) written. https://www.deviantart.com/mistybrightshadow/art/Make-Your-Mark-Chapter-6-Review-996798944 Just like with the last two chapters, I absolutely loved it, that shouldn't surprise you. I legitimately think this chapter's two-parter is the best episode of the entire series, even better than Missing the Mark. Secrets of Starlight is awesome, even though it is in no way something that I could consider a finale. Despite everything that was circulating regarding MYM ending, G5's most accurate leaker shared this with us... I always speculated that they could go with a continuation in the form of a follow-up show, but regardless, I feel it's best to judge this chapter on its own merits as opposed to judging it as a finale.

Definitely better than last week's recap episode, even as I'm over that crazy MYM Chapter 6 spoiler fiasco. They went for some random humor here with how Pipp just started making bird noises, but I am legitimately curious about what they're going to do with Allura and Comet.

Given our latest revelation... There's no guarantee that Tell Your Tale will be the only G5 series going forward. It even says on the marketing slides calling it "the one and only ponable series" that plans are subject to change.
