    ...Well, this is certainly unexpected. Even if it's just the final part of MYM's initial order that's done, a $100 toy based off of MYM being released?! I mean, very glad to see that we're still getting G5 merch, but still, I did NOT see that coming.

    Interesting how a popular topic asking members if they would visit China for MLP just recently blew up, because to coincide with that, we have this news... https://www.equestriadaily.com/2024/01/my-little-pony-make-your-mark-set-for.html Albeit not in a Western part of the world, Make Your Mark is going to be free from its Netflix prison for the first time, granted you don't count clips Hasbro posts on YouTube. I hope it is not just "some episodes" they make available though, since MYM is a plot-heavy show where you need to watch all the episodes to know the whole story.

    It is 100% dependent on who you ask, the comic was also torn to shreds by certain people even back in the day. You just have to be your own best critic, especially in this day and age where it's easy to get all kinds of false impressions from people online.

    No one can convince me now that Sparky isn't better than Flurry Heart. Not only did he do something that actually had a major impact on the story of Make Your Mark, unlike Flurry in Friendship is Magic, Tell Your Tale recently added more to his character too. Flurry only caused problems for the sake of comedy and crying for attention while Sparky, despite causing problems too, recently inadvertently caused one because of his relatable desire to have a sibling. Sparky's relationships and interactions with the other characters are many times more interesting too because he has bonds with them that actually develop. Flurry and Twilight's bond was hardly developed and built to nothing. Sparky, by contrast, has an actual story in his bonds with Misty and Hitch. He doesn't trust Misty at all initially, starts warming up to her once he sees the first signs of a change of heart in her despite still maintaining suspicion, and trusts her completely after seeing the evil in her overtaken by good. Sparky also causes Hitch to grow more mature and responsible, chooses to be with Hitch over his own kind, and even directly acknowledges Hitch as his father. Sparky is just Flurry Heart but with no destiny? That could've never been more wrong.

    I had another weird dream last night, this one involved me being lost in a mall. I was trying to find my away around while I was getting confused by turns that would take me to these swamp-like areas, as if I was walking in a forest. Then, suddenly, I was with my siblings by these screens showing this poster of a G5 Equestria Girls movie that was playing in theaters. The poster looked like anime-inspired fanart, showcasing a human Sunny with these other characters who looked like The Dazzlings. Immediately, this image of a YouTube video titled, "I Watched the G5 Equestria Girls Movie So You Didn't Have To", with the internet reviewer Saberspark putting his hands on his face beside the word, "Awful...", in the thumbnail flashed through my mind before I was then by this seating area in the mall reading badly written reviews of the movie online on my phone with my older brother (in real life, he's never been a brony to my knowledge). We were laughing about how they had poor spelling and grammar and TikTok lingo in them before I woke up. And then, of course, the first thing I saw when I looked at a G5 thread today on another pony site...was someone bringing up G5 Equestria Girls.

    Oh my hoofness, this episode totally ruled! I only needed something on par with Icy Prints after its mildly disappointing follow-up and I honestly thought this one was even better than Icy Prints. Even though, of course, Sparky has to be the one causing the problem, I love how the problem involves the main characters actually battling a threat and that Hitch gets to be the one saving the day! I agree that the element poetry is already getting old, but at least it was just one pony doing it this time. With genuinely good gags thrown in the mix too, like my favorite Poseyabuse gag since the one at the end of Moon Festival, I think this is the best Hitch episode since Foal Me Once and one of the best episodes of the show! Just one problem though...still no Comet.

    I second that. "Critic videos" have become more untrustworthy than ever, so much bad info that gets spread on YouTube now about almost every new show it seems, including shows that are legitimately god-awful.

    I've watched every episode of the show that's currently out. I do relate to the disappointment of heaven seemingly being bad guys for the sake of it. Adam was a pretty funny jerk character to me, but I really want there to be something more to the angels that depicts neither heaven or hell as in the right. Most everything else is good though, I love the new voice actors, the songs, and how I'm growing to like characters I wasn't that into initially more like Niffty, Sir Pentious, and even the Egg Boiz. Best episode to me was Masquerade, no contest. Poison is a killer song, loved seeing another side to Husk, and given how we all love Angel Dust, there was no way I was going to dislike what was essentially that awesome music video for Addict turned into a full-length episode. This show isn't flawless, it can use some polish, but I've not been let down by it so far.

    Hmm...I wonder if this is inspired by the Tell Your Tale episode, Very Bad Hair Day. I do enjoy how this will make Sparky the first male dragon in G5 to not be bald too.

    It's alright, definitely not on par with Icy Prints though. I thought it was weird how rainbow magic just gave Misty a costume despite the costume being cool and I hope the new Mane 6 don't start reminding us what their elements are in every single episode to magically solve a problem, especially if it's just for a fruit crown. Also, where's Comet?

    Wow. I like Bluey enough to have watched every single episode of it, but come on. If you're going to be that generous to a surprisingly good toddler's show, why can that generosity not be shared with surprisingly good pony shows?

    I really don't care what IMDb says (they only have FiM rated at 7.7/10), but I do feel that rating is too low. Way to bolster my argument about this show being underrated because that is quite literally underrating the show. I mean, I do at least fully agree with how Missing the Mark and Roots of All Evil Part 2 are rated as the best episodes of the show, but only 8.1/10 and 7.8/10 respectively? Get out of here.

    I had a really awful dream on Sunday night where people broke into my home and tried to kill me. One of them was someone I knew from the past who hated me and somehow lit me on fire with these flakes I was trying to get off my clothes before they burst into flames and set me on fire. I ran towards the person screaming something and I don't remember what happened after that. Probably the worst nightmare I've had since my dream about my mom and the guns.

    MLP will never be done with "Shoo Be Doo!". I like how they're keeping up with this "X Your X" title tradition and hope that they can do something really cool involving the main characters exploring more of the world as seaponies.

    Fluttershy Leans In. Fluttershy is flawless, yay. Where's the conflict? Shocked that no one has said Non-Compete Clause yet, the all-time most hated episode of Friendship is Magic.

    There's no proof of this right now whatsoever, only speculation. I've even heard that the Brazilian VA for Pipp was replaced with another VA.

    There's no Comet. This season is already terrible! Actually, with that joke out of the way, I think that this is a pretty good example of how you start a season. The animation looks more polished, they're already setting up a threat, and the new Mane 6 emphasizing who they were through poetry was cool. I also love how everyone's going nuts over the Violette Rainbow cameo while I'm just sitting here like... ...Eh, I prefer the Onyx cameo.

    Just finished watching Season 1 of The Legend of Korra, sincerely thought it was awesome. I do not see what the problems with this show are at all so far, it's only very barely inferior to the original Avatar.

    Yes. However, Chapters 1-3 were great, even Chapter 1 had its moments of genius. I appreciate the early chapters even more when I see what they were building up to. The foreshadowing with that end scene in Growing Pains was brilliant.

    A plot-focused show...directionless, story-wise...isn't that an oxymoron?
