      I tried to watch the Owl House's pilot but "Harry Potter-like" fantasy worlds don't really interest me.

      I know MLP is similar but I have an easier time suspending my disbelief with unicorns and Pegasi

      instead of wizards and things like that.

      I think The Owl House is well grounded by Luz being a human that crossed through a portal to another realm. Also, I have never read the Harry Potter books, and turned the first movie off about a half hour into it. I just didn't like it. Harry's family treated him like filth, so I baled.
