    Haha, well usually in Canada ours look a decade behind US ones. Still lots of little ones have exposed brickwork inside and kinda cringey wood 70s shopfront trim. Idk what they're doing now but it seems like when a larger mall here gets redone all the wall and floor tiling starts failing after 2 to 4 years. I mean, the stuff sold in there just gets more cheaply made but why reno when you're just ending up with cheap finish

    Numpad for sure, cuz I own a few games with controls locked to those keys, and my current keyboard doesn't have a numpad Woe is me for trying to save a few bucks on a mechanical keyboard and buying one that's proven to be otherwise decent so will prolly outlast lil me and my numpad need

    Christine 1983 Haven't watched it in about a year, tbh kinda wishing I'd saved it for Halloween night. We started not giving out candy last year and binging horror movies in the dark instead, now we're one short lol. There's only three other houses on our street who give out treats and all we usually get are drunk teens, so honestly it's safer not doing it anymore

    Skyrim - Friend ruined the ending for me back on release, so I never did advance much beyond the things to do in Whiterun. Got into modding it a bit, but stopped playing years ago. Reinstalled it on this PC, but deleted it a while later due to needing the space. I love its world and soundtrack, but ehh, idk. Never got past the spoiled ending thing.

    Pretty much any fast food place, it's 50/50 if each stall is a hazmat scene in waiting

    Get up, turn on PC and check Steam or morning news, eat, spend most of the day wandering the net OR playing games OR talking to people I don't much like anymore, then have dinner, watch a bit of TV, and go to bed. Rinse and repeat, going on 15 years now.

    Dealing with finding out an uncle wants to visit us with little notice, and with other things going on here he really shouldn't be. He was told about these other things, somewhat, and ignored that and pleas to not come. Dude just wants a free motel for the night, the heck with what we think, apparently. I'm all for us being MIA until he gets the message, but Mom won't have it yet is upset and stressed over it. Sooo, mostly angry and about a quarter depressed, I guess.

    Beyond The Sea by David L Golemon. Surprisingly good for some kind of alternate history modern day thing, pity the library's only got two others of his out of this 12 book series

    Just finished playing Airport Sim 2015. I used to binge play it back when I first bought it, then would quit cuz the game is honestly super boring, buuut I decided to try and 100% the achievements so hello four days of boredom followed by "why did I wait so long to finish this, it was easy?" Plus a lil bit of sadness, knowing I'll likely never play it again as my backlog is utterly monstrous now.

    Holed up in my room, browsing the forum while trying to pick another game to play tomorrow. Working through my Steam backlog is nice, but also not. Lots of these games are so meh or bad I wonder why I thought buying or trading for them was a good idea.

    I heard "I'm going to shove this snow shovel so far up your *censored*, you'll wish you were never born!" from my mom when I was 10 or 11. Was around 3am when I snuck downstairs for some late night snackies lol

    Yup, it falls apart when you unroll it too, makes it look like I have butt dandruff or something Does that from the start to the end of the roll as well, I mean the pricier stuff does it a bit with the outer layer then quits but not this stuff, oh no...

    Dogs for me, but ever since we put our old one down due to her kind of going crazy all of them seem to hate me Cats are okay, when they're not using you or dropping a load in our back garden

    Some kind of off-brand stuff from Walmart that's bumpy and abrasive as heck, buuut it's not me buying it so my opinion dun count

    Pretty lousy. One of the few good online friends I have is right, when others find out you're caring for someone who has a life changing illness many of them act like you're the one with it and it's contagious so they bail on you constantly. It's making me wonder why I wasted months and in some cases years getting to know these people.
