Is MLP the best cartoon of the 2010s?

I was writing a fanfic called, "Born an Alicorn". It is about an Alicorn named Moon Stream, who tries to live a normal life. This takes place in future Equstria. In this AU, being an Alicorn is actually a rare birth defect. The birth defect can be fatal or non-fatal. It's only fatal when the wings are swollen beyond recognition, bleed easily, or fall off easily. The newborn could die from infection. Or when the horn is so massive, it could crush the newborn's skull or snap the neck, when the foal tries to lift its head. If the horn containes too much power, they could have violent seizures. The birth defect is non-fatal when everything is balanced. The wings and horn being at decent sizes usually prove non-fatal. Sometimes the wings might not grow with the foal, but this is normal. The horn might also contain little to no magic. I don't have a mane for this birth defect yet. Anyway here is some information about Moon Stream. Name: Moon Stream Gender: Female Species: Alicorn Mane color: umber Coat color: rosy brown Eye Color: light chestnut Aura color: tan Cutiemark: a tanned, glistening moonstone Cutiemark earning story: when she was a teenager, she attended her school dance. She felt very awkward and let. She found herself sitting near a pond. She tossed a few pebbles into the pond, using her magic aura. The more she thought about the dance, the more stressed she got. She got stressed, she turned a pebble, into a light blue moonstone. She concentrated on another pebble and it turned into another moonstone. She tried to turn slightly larger rocks into moonstones. The first time fails. Over time, she mastered her craft and got her cutiemark. She realized her magic wasn't useless after all. Relationships: Midnight Blues (mother, Pegasus) Fast Fleet (father, Pegasus) alicorns at the secret Alicorn Club (acquaintances) Personality: introverted, a bit pessimistic, awkward at times, a little too nice. Likes: moonstones, watching the sunrise and sunset, dramatic books, art galleries, and pizza. dislikes: the color red, attention, failing at poetry, magic Residence: Cloudsdale (formerly) unknown small village (currently) occupation: jeweler hobbies: making moonstones, making tiny bear figurines, taking pictures of baby animals, and making scrapbooks about them. Please tell me what I should improve on. Please be honest. Thank you.

What Do You Think About Alicorn ocs?

I feel like Cadance's reasoning to being an Alicorn was too similar to Twilight being an Alicorn. Love and friendship are two different things, but they do have similarities. Bonding with each other, spending time together, fighting, and so on. In the book Cadance defeated a creature, and got a horn in exchange.

This episode is over a year old, but it still confuses me to this day. I need to get this off my chest. It's been bothering since last year. This episode is worst, far worst than "Princess Spike", "Putting your Hoof Down", and "Baby Cakes". Instead of a full on rant, I'll go with a list. 1. This is a ripoff of Apple Buck Season and possibly, Look Before You Sleep. 2. Rarity doesn't seem to understand that working on a farm is almost a 24 hour job. 3. Where was Big Mac and Granny Smith? Why couldn't they fix the problem ahead of time? Surely they are not as stubborn as Applejack. 4. Why didn't the spa ponies call a plumber or even bother to investigate the situation? Making ponies wait like that is bad for business. 5. Twilight and Spike could be doing something else with their time. 6. Applejack is being rude towards Rarity. She keeps ditching the unicorn, to go work. 7. What was the lesson of episode? What purpose does this episode have? If you want to vent with me, feel free to do so. Also, what Mlp episode left you dazed and confused?

Theories on Bright Mac and Pear Butter
FemaleIntrovert1995 replied to FemaleIntrovert1995's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Pear Butter and Bright Mac kicking the bucket does make more sense. They value their family and the farm above most things. The delivery death might seem dark. But it's realistic enough to be considered "canon" to the show. I highly doubt Hasbro will show us in an episode. But if they can show a cyclops skeleton, ponies going to war, and a devastating apocalypse timeline, then why not death on screen? -
WARNING SPOILERS After watching the "The Perfect Pear", I knew the writers weren't going to directly tell us about the apple parents absence. There were some clues hidden in the show. The shooting stars at the end of the Apple family reunion. When other ponies talked about them, it was in past tense. Ponies cried while remembering them. Grand Pear didn't even bother to comeback. Yes, he was angry, but he was gone for years. Maybe there was nothing to comeback too. Granny Smith didn't talk about them either. Since she hid her feelings about them for so long, I wonder what else she's hiding... That apple-pear tree represents their(Bright Mac and Pear Butter's) love. But too me, it represents their gravestone. Sorry if that was too dark! Apple Bloom stated, "they left us something to remember them by.". Some people use this phrase when they don't want to be forgotten, and it's usually something special. For example, a golden watch, a medal, or a photo. Where their parents going away somewhere? Why haven't they returned? I have a theory for that. The Apple family does make deliveries all around Equestira. And the deliveries are usually safe and easy, or dangerous and complicated. Especially when traveling through a fire swamp, fighting a chimera. Applejack knows that she needed to take extra precautions gen entering that fire swamp. But, why? Who told her too? How does she know? Maybe, just maybe Bright Mac and Pear Butter, went through that forest, and didn't make it out. Now, this is highly unlikely. After seeing Big Mac pull buildings and crash through racing courses without a scratch on him, I'd say Bright Mac could take on a chimera. However, what if Pear Butter and Bright Mac where on a dangerous delivery to a place unknown to them. Rickety rounds, very high mountains, very cold weather. Even very hot weather. They could get lost or worst. But, I'm not saying they're just dead, they could be missing too. Maybe the carts were found, but their bodies were nowhere to be found. What do you guys think?

Please don't get offended? I don't hate Fluttercord(that doesn't mean I'm a Dislestia fan either). I don't ship in general. When I watched the leaked episode on YouTube, I noticed that a lot of Fluttercord fans kept commenting that Fluttercord is canon, why would they think that? Agian, not trying to be offensive, I'm just trying to learn something new. I'm new to the "shipping world", so please be nice to me. Thank you.

Belle Swan is a Mary Sue. Chloe from The Fairy-odd-Parents is a Mary Sue. Itachi Uchiha is right at that line of being a Garry Stue. They are all canon characters. I learned that lesson, I learned you can't judge a character by their appearance or superpowers. Why do you think I typed, "with all of these things in mind, I assumed Starlight Glimmer was a Mary Sue. However, I'm wrong, I'm dead wrong." I can't tell if you're addressing this issue to the public, or trying to make me look stupid... I'm not being mean, I don't understand your point of view. I blame my light Asperger's syndrome.

Unpopular Opinions Regarding the Show
FemaleIntrovert1995 replied to DITR's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I agree, I just want to see her parents. I'm gonna throw my two cents in here. To be honest, I don't ship any of the mane 6 characters. They should all remain single. The show's theme is about friendship not love. If you want to ship them, that's fine by me. I only ship secondary or supporting characters, like Dislestia or Strixie, even LyraxBonBon. I don't mind if someone made an Alicorn oc, regardless if it's a Mary Sue or not. I won't be surprised if the mane 6 all turn out to be Alicorns. I know it's gonna happen one of these days. *run and hides in pillow fort, gets beaten up anyway, pillow forts are useless, unless you're Flufflepuff*- 1,378 replies

Mane 6, Mane 7, or Mane 8?
FemaleIntrovert1995 replied to Dark Qiviut's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
The reason why I don't consider her apart of the mane 6, is because she doesn't have an element of harmony within the circle of Twilight and her friends. She's friends with the mane 6, nothing more, nothing less. Spike is kinda like the mane 6's little brother or helper. I believe Starlight has some sort of element with Trixie, Discord, and Thorax. Who knows? Maybe she might have an element, but she has to find it. I hope season seven gives her, Trixie, Discord, and Thorax elements in the season finale.
