Not at all. When it comes to things like that, I feel completely out of the loop – I don't even understand most of it (and the same goes for text speak). Clarity is key!

The first ones that come to my mind are "sashay" and "gubernatorial" – I don't know what it is about them, but something about the way those words look and sound just annoys me. Also, "irregardless" for being a nonsensical word which would mean the opposite of what a lot of people think.

I see this on threads when I'm not logged in. I don't know what happens if you try to post, but it's not something I've ever seen before the upgrade. It does say it requires approval, but I doubt guest posting is meant to be possible at all...

season review Buffalo Man's Tops and Bottoms of Season 8

Amazing review! I don't really have much to add – you covered the season at its best and worst in so much detail, and I agree on most of the points. Apart from "School Raze" being among my favorite episodes (probably even my number one of season 8), and likewise Ocellus for the character list.- 2 comments

Review of Uprooted

I liked it too. I don't feel it quite achieved the quality of "The Beginning of the End" (though that was an exceptionally good one), but I enjoyed it anyway. Seeing the Student 6 is always nice. The episode may not have been one of my absolute favorites, but I found it cute... The song was fun (I especially liked Ocellus singing) and the ending was nice. Probably an 8.5/10 for me. -
I've never even thought of opening them upside down... In the end, I don't think it would make much of a difference anyway (besides maybe the broken chips at the bottom being the first ones I'd eat), but I can't say it's something I've tried.

A day wouldn't be complete without your status updates – even on a not-so-good day, it always cheers me (and I'm sure a lot of others too) up to read them, see the cute ponies you post and of course have a little chat! And no matter what kind of day you have, you're always friendly to everyone (even on Tuesdays)! Happy forumversary to you, and may there be many more to come!

Old people complaining about young people is something that has always happened and will most likely keep happening. Let's make sure we don't do that when we're old ourselves!

My favorite is obviously Rarity. But there are so many other great unicorns too: Twilight (if she counts), Starlight, Trixie... I could pretty much list all the unicorns in the series, they're all awesome!

Review of The Beginning of the End

I agree, an even better start to the season than I expected! I'm glad to see you liked it as much as I did, it easily got the highest grade from me too. Even with the high ratings I give, a 10 out of 10 isn't that common, so they did an awesome job! It's obvious this won't be the last time we see the villains... I loved the chemistry between them, so I'm looking forward to whatever we get next. All of the mane cast were also great, I also felt Pinkie had her best portrayal in a while. Somehow the comment I was going to post at first grew into a full review, something I didn't expect to write again. -
This was definitely an amazing start to the new season and made my expectations for season 9 even higher! As much as I love this show, somehow I never quite expect something this great! I guess this calls for a review of sorts, something I haven't done in almost half a season! Seeing all those villains return was great, I enjoyed Sombra's appearance a lot more than his first one (he wasn't among my favorite villains in MLP earlier). The others had a smaller role this time, but it was nice to see Grogar for the first time. Cozy Glow acting like a normal filly at times was fun (and I've always liked how that contrasts with her villain side), and I also found Chrysalis' reaction to her telling her to say something positive about ponies hilarious! The chemistry between the villains was definitely something entertaining! Getting away from the villains, I thought the episode plot was very interesting in general. Celestia and Luna retiring sets an interesting tone for the last season – seeing how Twilight and her friends cope with this, other than her typical twilighting (), will be fascinating – and it would be interesting to see Starlight in her new role too (which I'm pretty sure will happen at some point). The Mane 6 were great in this episode, I have to give a special mention to Pinkie. In spite of her being my favorite pony in the early seasons, I feel her recent portrayal has been slightly hit and miss. Not this time – they showed her being the adorable, cheerful pony she is (and touchingly, also her temporarily losing that personality), even including some of her typical randomness (the cakewalk), without making her annoying at any point. The emotional moments were easily the highlight of the episode for me. I'll readily admit Discord's speech made me cry – in all its simplicity, somehow it became one of the most effective scenes in the whole series. As for the negatives, maybe it's in part because of the show finally being back after a hiatus, but I can't really think of any. Besides maybe the lack of a new intro (it would have been fitting for a final season), but maybe we'll get one for episode 3, like we did last season. This episode deserves a rare 10 out of 10 – if the rest of the season is anywhere near this good, it will definitely be one of the all-time best! -
