    Mother's Day

    I got my mother a new pair of oven gloves cos she needed some with an apron to match My son made a little memo board at school with his picture on it, so sweet and useful. Hope everyone else is enjoying spending time with their mothers and a happy mother's day to anypony else on the forum who is a mum

Upload a picture of your favourite pet and the next user to post gives you pet a score out of 5(5=super cute, 4=cute, 3=okay, 2=not cute, 1=not at all cute) then uploads a picture of their pet the game continues This is my cat Yui sleeping while I study

    I have guppies and they do the same thing. The follow my finger when I move it in front of the glass and come to the surface when I feed them I have four rats and they are soo cute. They all try to sleep together in their hammock which is way to small to fit all of them but they still manage to squeeze in

    It's possible there are cars in Equestria that are powered by magic but until they appear in the show it's not canon. Likely they made the car cos what little girl doesn't love a pink car to put her pony in and drive her everywhere?

    that sounds a lot like me I tend to talk to all kinds of people at school too. I can be a little shy when meeting new people but once I warm up to them I'm okay. I think just being myself has helped rather than trying to fit in with a group

    There must be some form of higher education. Shining Armor is captain of the royal guard, he can't have learned that in kindergarten so there must be some kind of traning school for him to become royal guard and ponies that go there would likely need a certain age since it's kind of like military training. Unless of course Shining Armor is that naturally talented that he needs no training.

    I recently had a Rarity moment where I tried to fit in with a more popular crowd. One of the prettier and popular girls at school came and sat at the same table as me, a while later the rest of her friends joined us for lunch. I got talking with them and they asked me to hang out later. They were friendly and nice however I just felt I didn't fit in with them. We didn't have much in common either. I tried to conform because I felt I needed to(fear of rejection), I tried dressing more mature, wearing make up, getting a different handbag(had a hello kitty one before), reading up on typical girl things and even though I started to fit in, I felt I was giving up a part of myself. In the end I stuck with hanging out with the people I usually do and to my surprise the popular girls accepted me for who I was, not what I was trying to be. So now I hang out with my old and new friends. Lesson learned Has anypony else here been in a real life situation that resembles a friendship theme from the show?

    It would be possible that somewhere in Celestia/Luna's family tree somepony mated with a unicorn/pagasus/earth pony. Since in Greek mythology Gods had relationships with mortals and thus demi-Gods were born. But then the question is where do Celestia/Luna come from, who were their parents? Or were they created by some kind of pony deity like those windigos or whatever they were called? Were the two princesses around when Equestria was founded? Also if Cadence was immortal and Shing Armor was mortal then she would outlive him and that would be sad. She'd have to watch him grow old and die yet remain beautiful and young. Quite often cartoons don't have a lot of logic example the physics calculations of a sonic rainboom would make it nearly impossible. If you're writing a fanfic, then use the theory or theories that you find most fitting in the context of your story

    ^Good point eenohay since we don't know much about Twilight's parents, it's possible they were a noble/aristocrat family with connections. Twilight also has princess Celestia as her mentor, I'd have thought she'd learn magic at some kind of pony magic school like in the episode where she gets her cutie mark
