  1. Alright, after a lot of searching on Wayback Machine and Twitter, I think I have found all the archived videos I reasonably can find. I believe that I have covered all of the privatized series from the Everfree Network Youtube channel, and I have done my best to find every episode of these series that has been archived on the Wayback Machine. There still may be some episodes of these shows I can find if I do some crazy searching, but I think I am satisfied with what I have on the channel right now. I am honestly flabbergasted that these old and obscure series were so well archived and that I was able to find the vast majority of their episodes, serious props to the people who did that for making this possible.
  2. Everfree Network was an organization that hosted several different shows done by different people in the fandom (including the now famous Saberspark). The videos I reuploaded are not ones that have been privatized or deleted by the creators, they are videos that were set to unlisted for a long time. The only reason they are now privatized is because of Youtube's terrible decision in July of 2021 to make all unlisted videos before 2017 private, something that was absolutely devastating when it comes to preserving videos. A large amount of the video archives were created in July of 2021 because of this. From the information I have gathered, the reason these shows were made unlisted is because the creators involved stopped working for Everfree Network. Brony Breakdown and Pegasisters Live specifically both have their own Youtube channels with still public videos of their shows before and after Everfree hosted their stuff. If these creators did not want others to see their work, then I am sure that they would have privatized their stuff long before Youtube automatically did it. For several years before Youtube's terrible change, people who wanted to see these old videos were able to via playlists on Youtube. By reuploading these videos I am giving people the same option to see these videos that they had before July of 2021. If any of these creators contact me saying that they don't want some videos uploaded, I'll be happy to take them down. But because the videos were unavailable to the public because of Youtube's intervention and not because of a choice of the original creator, I believe that I am justified in reuploading them for anyone who wishes to see them.

  5. The Cutie Re-Mark is for me the moment when MLP went permanently downhill and was never consistently great again for the rest of its run. I still consider Season 1-4 as the golden era, Season 5 as the transitional era (still good and most qualities of golden era are still there, but things have still clearly changed), and Season 6-9 as inconsistent with many good and bad qualities evening out. Where do you pinpoint the exact moment the show tanked for you?
  6. My interest in new episodes of MLP died out initially because i found Season 6 mediocre. I loved some episodes in the season (Saddle Row Review, Stranger Than Fanfiction, the finale), but I found the season dull overall and far worse than Seasons 1-5. I still watched parts of Season 7 afterwards but after that my interest in the show was gone completely until I came back to it years later.
  7. Update: I was abel to find Episode 32 on Wayback Machine and I uploaded the video. I have also been able to find the inital urls for episodes 16, 25, and 27. However, those videos were not saved on Wayback Machine. As for the pre Season 1 content, I managed to find a page on Wayback machine showing that they existed ( https://web.archive.org/web/20120611095617/youtube.com/user/BronyBreakdown ) but none of the links to the videos have been preserved and the videos appear private or deleted. I have emailed PaleoSteno to see if it would be possible to retrieve these. I have yet to find any evidence of an upload to episodes 4, 47, 48, 2-20, 2-21, 2-22, 2-23, or 2-24 ever having existed.
  8. Alright, I sent PaleoSteno an email asking if he could help find some of the missing episodes, hopefully I'll be able to add more episodes to this.
  9. I don't hate it, but I do find Winter Wrap Up to be overrated and one of the weakest in Season 1. The world building and song is great, but the episode has nothing else going for it and is otherwise boring.
  10. I'm working on making a youtube archive of Saberspark and PaleoSteno's old Brony Breakdown podcast from 2012-2014. I'll make a post about it once I have it up, I think its a great time capsule of the golden age of the fandom.

  11. Favorite is Hurricane Fluttershy, least favorite is Dragon Quest. Weird how my favorite episode of the entire show came directly after my least favorite of Seasons 1-5.
  12. Strong agree, she was just performing a show. She had no obligation to be "humble" in that context, and anyone who didn't like her attitude could have just left. Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack were in the wrong in interrupting her show (especially Rainbow Dash with how in-humble she usually is). Boast Busters is such a garbage episode overall, by far the worst in season 1.
  13. I completely agree with your criticism of Twilight's character when applied to post Season 4, in which her character arc and journey was complete and she was mostly just there most of the time. As for Season 4, I think the premiere and finale handle her extremely well in showing her developing in fitting into her role as a princess. I will concede that she could have been given more to do in the rest of the Season and that her character was still better when she was a student in Seasons 1-3. A couple or so more episodes addressing her princess-hood and giving it more development would have been nice. However, I don't find it to be a major issue since Twilight's Kingdom showed how she was aware that her new role did not amount to much and was largely ceremonial. I think that rest of the season easily makes up for Twilight not being as strong as in the previous seasons, because I think the other characters are developed very well in the season, and the episode quality was really consistent with a large amount of creative ideas. Frankly, I find Season 4 to be the most creative and memorable season of the whole show, with really only 2 and 3 rivaling it for me. Yeah, Season 4 had flaws and questionable writing decisions, but so did Season 1-3 in my view. (Boast Busters, Owl's Well, Feeling Pinkie Keen, Mare Do Well, Dragon Quest, One Bad Apple, Spike at Your Service all had awful writing). Honestly, I think Season 4 was the more consistent and had overall better writing than those seasons, as it only had 2 episodes I disliked and only like 4 others I found meh. ANd it actually had a good season long arc with the arcs with a premiere and finale that are connected without being rushed. I agree with your dislike for Somepony to Watch Over Me and Rainbow Falls (the only 2 S4 episodes I consider outright bad). I agree that Pinkie was terrible in Filli Vanili (although its only a bad 2 minutes or so of an otherwise good episode). I honestly really liked the Breezies episode, for its high stakes and for having a really good moral that showed Fluttershy being properly assertive. I really loved when the episodes had really out there concepts like Bats or Daring Don't, which I thought made for really fun episodes. I agree with you about Power Ponies (I love the concept of it, but the episode failed to be creative with it at all) and Leap of Faith tho. I find Season 4 to be much better than 5 since 5 did not develop the characters as much and had a lot more middling episodes, including a very flawed finale which the show never recovered from. Out of curiousity, why do you find Season 3 to be mediocre? I find it to have really memorable and fun episodes with the same charm as in Season 2. (Crystal Empire, Too Many Pinkie Pies, Magic Duel, Sleepless in Ponyville, Wonderbolts Academy are among my favorites). I love Keep Calm and Flutter On and Magical Mystery Cure as well, although I see how those episodes are rushed and understand why people dislike them. But outside of those 2 episodes, nothing in the season feels rushed to me and the episodes feel like they would have easily fit into Season 2. I understand why Season 1 and 2 fans like Season 4 less due to the different style, but I don´t really get the S3 hate since I don't see it as particularly different from S2.
  14. As terrible as the moral, story, and Twilight's characterization was in Feeling Pinkie Keen, I still can't help but love the episode because I find it hillarious
  15. Why do you think that undercut the moral? Twilight was portrayed as in the wrong for hastly coming to that conclusion and gaslighting Pinkie Pie, the episode was not trying to say that Pinkie was actually jealous. I actually really like this episode. I think it's funny, I really liked Pinkie and Rainbow bonding, i liked the moral, and I like how it did not do the typical jealousy plotline and made Pinkie in the right. I will concede that Gilda was annoying with her mannerisms and could have been portrayed better, but that's my only issue with the episode.
  16. Boast Busters easily. Thankfully the show's 1st amazing episode (Dragonshy) came directly after
  17. So are only Seasons 1-4 remaining on Netflix in the USA? That's what its showing for me

  19. You should check out the Equestria Girls movies and specials then, thats basically a whole season of mlp content you havent watched! Plenty of fans such as myself were not fans of the concept or the first movie, but came to really like Equestria Girls once we saw Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games (both of which could crack a top 20 mlp episode list for me).
  20. Don't worry, Joshscorcher did too. I personally disliked the episode, as I thought they portrayed the conflict and moral poorly and found the humor to be cringeworthy. However, I do find it to be overhated and people like Josh have valid reasons to like it.
  21. Seasons 8 and 9 suffered from taking too few risks, not for taking too many. Although they were willing to introduce the School of Friendship, it seemed like the show was scared of deviating too much from the norm, so the student six only had a few episodes in Season 8 and were a complete non presence in Season 9. Since I found the established characters flat and uninteresting by this point and I did not like most of the episodes featuring them, I think these seasons would have been far better if the Student 6 and Friendship school was developed far more. Even if it was done poorly, it would have at least given these seasons a new style and dynamic over the previous ones to give a sense of uniqueness and purpose. As it is these seasons were halfway stuck between trying to be unique and trying to be more of the same, and they fail in both of these departments imo. I find it interesting how my issues with this era are the complete opposite of the issues others have with it. Others dislike it for taking too many risks while I think it should have completely ran with its risks. I have a similar reason for why I strongly prefer The Office Season 8 over Season 9. Season 8 of The Office, for all of its flaws, heavily featured on Robert California (who I found hilarious) and Andy's dynamic with him. It wasn't just trying to feel like previous Office seasons, it was its own thing with its own story and dynamics. Because of the enjoyment I got from Robert California and the new dynamics, it gave me something to enjoy that I didn't get in the previous seasons of the show, so it gave me a reason to watch it. Despite it not being nearly as good as the previous seasons, I don't think about the quality decline when watching it because it is so different and good in its own way. Season 9 on the other hand dropped Robert California and its focused dynamic, and felt more like a lesser version of the previous seasons than its own thing. Like the Friendship School Era of MLP, it had some shake ups to the dynamic but did not truly run with the changes. Office Season 9 may be better than 8 in certain aspects, but since it failed to be its own thing it is nothing more than an inferior version of the show to me so I have no desire to watch it outside of the work bus episode and the finale. Watching both these seasons of MLP and Season 9 of The Office just made me want to watch earlier seasons of the shows instead.
  22. I mean, I still love the show despite hating the theme song which is in every episode, so I don't see why ads outside the show would have changed anything for me. If anything it would have just given me something to enjoy making fun of.
  23. Honestly I think the best way to watch Equestria Girls is to watch it all back to back separate from Friendship is Magic, so that it is a more focused experience. The only time it directly connects to the continuity of the show was in the first movie with Twilight struggling with becoming a princess.
