I agree with you Dusk, Equestria does need capable fighters to defend the freedoms they all benefit from. I do believe you when you say your OPs alicorn powers are used with a desire to protect the innocent. Unfortunately the desire to be an Alicorn may get a negative perception by other people as being from ego, I know in your case it is not, but who knows what other people truly want? though personally I think it is not my business to go prying into the heads of other people, whether their daydreams are dark and dystopian or not, they're not harming anyone for merely thinking. Plus I would not know what to do with all that power, sure, it would be cool to be an alicorn, but unless Dawnshine Wonder was a trainee in the Wonderbolt and in my fan fiction I was working on, Dawnshine Wonder is not, those powers would probably be wasted. Plus I would not want to be susceptible to corruption, a guilty conscience from hurting others is not something I'd want, hurting others period is wrong. Your OP Dusk Haven may be into heroics and that is endearing however there are other things in Equestria that need taking care of as well, what Fluttershy does, taking care of animals, that is helpful as well because a respect for wildlife and ecology starts with respecting innocent creatures within their habitats, remembering that the world we share works by a delicate balance, like Earth, Equestria's survival in MLP fiction depends on how its inhabitants treat each other. In my MLP FIM fanfic, my OP, like countless other souls in various timelines, gets reborn into different worlds, Equestria is in a magical realm, beyond that is a paradise dimension if essences of beings completed their life lessons of unity and friendship. It's only a fantasy, but I do wish that it could happen, one motivation for that is I'd like to be in a realm of happiness and peace with everyone, no one is so lost in their ignorance or depravity that they cannot be redeemed, I'd like to think even beings like Chrysalis given enough time would learn the error of their ways, she was not redeemed in the official show, but I wonder how it would happen if she did.

I like magical rainbows in fiction, it's cute, especially when they are used to restore harmony like in MLP, to me they symbolize love.

I would not want to be an Alicorn, not because I have any hatred or dislike towards Hasbro's character Twilight Sparkle, I do not, I just don't believe I could do a better job than Luna or Celestia, not in their fictional timeline from the TV show, or any other where they did not exist. I'd want to be mentored and nurtured into being gentle like Fluttershy, with a personality like hers, sensitive and shy, and respectful, even if it came at the cost of being perceived as weak by bullies. Being a pegasus for me would be enough, and I don't believe any one species of pony in MLP FIM are inherently greater or lesser, humans are not inherently lesser or greater either. What I'd give to be in Equestria though material possessions are not a good replacement for love and being there for someone in need, I am not alone in saying these things either, on other forums I've seen some other people post similar wishes to my own. And like them, for me, it's not about wanting to be better than others, it's about wishing for a peaceful life. But I cannot go there, but what I can do, is try my best to make this life worth living. Which leads me to my question and the topic of the thread, would you be afraid of Queen Chrysalis or Tirek if you were in that fictional world with the other characters? whether you would be or not, I don't judge you for this. I've said I'd be afraid of them but that would not stop me from wishing to be there. Sometimes a test of friendship comes from how we respond to threats, in my opinion.

Scared that people may take what I say out of context sometimes if I stutter or stumble on words out my mouth, or even in typos. I've been having problems with my speech lately, when that happens we don't just hear static or clicks or pops from typical glitching of an audio system, instead what happens is something gets said differently. People with a preconceived bias about you would twist what you say against you anyway, but when it becomes a matter of a misunderstanding it can be a bigger problem.

One of the coolest things in life was computers, without that, game consoles would not exist nor would smartphones. And you most definitely would not have tv shows without it, because even the television uses computational circuits to work and that is especially true with todays smart TV's that use apps. Sonic Rainboom from Rainbow Dash was cool. For some reason I am thinking of Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger song from Daft Punk when I think of Rainbow Dash's speedster abilities from MLP.

One thing I do share with Samurai Equine is a love for tea, although I drink black tea not green tea, we also like Princess Celestia from My Little Pony. Princess Celestia can come across as trollish sometimes, but I do believe she means well, and after ruling a kingdom for 1,000 years, must be incredibly boring for her. Developing a sense of humour as a coping mechanism would have definitely fit her character IMO.

Was thinking about that time when Queen Chrysalis from MLP FIM mocked Mane Six's rainbow power, what a bully she is, it's not just the fact she mocked their powers, she was mocking the idea of choosing kindness over cruelty, which she has done repeatedly in both the show and the comic.
