    I don't believe it makes any difference, the past is the past, even if you had an issue with what you said, history cannot be erased, or else we'd end up with a time paradox. As for me? well, sometimes. I think the other night when I mentioned the gory details of horror movies in a thread on this forum may have irked some people. Other people talked about similar things I think, and then somebody joked about it with a quote saying "These people are sick" so I decided to play along with them, told them it's not like I'll be on Equestra's naughty list for saying all that.

    About to make a cup of tea before I finish up watching A Nightmare on Elm St horror movie on Amazon video. There's not much I can do about my ornament collection until I have the money saved up. But I will love to show the rainbow LEDs.

    I'm going to take a screenshot of something from MLP on one of my DVD's then use it as a desktop background. I'm ponifying my workstation, it won't just have ornaments. I'll post a photo when it is done. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic plus movie and specials, will be stored next to other fantasy genre gems like The Last Unicorn, Labyrinth, Legend, The Secret of Nimh, The BFG, Jumanji, Charmed, The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Dark Crystal, The Flight of Dragons, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

    That's why I went with a fanless heatsink with my Raspberry Pi 5 PC, with enough material on the outside it can be kept cool and and there's no need to clean out the inside, much like a smartphone really.

    I hate myself for bringing this up with Snoopy Fan now, I feel like the negativity from my recent complaints about a spinoff he likes has hurt him, that was not my intention, but that is what I feel has happened. Now all I am wishing, is for that pain to be taken away, I did not want to bring his mood down, I really hope this does not affect his ability to sleep tonight.

    I hope Snoopy Fan is alright, he is such a sweet person and like other people here on this forum, he is one person I never want to hurt. We are still friends, however I don't believe he likes what I said about Equestria Girls.

    We agree Equestria is a better world, they may not be as technology advanced as us, but what they do have better than us in the show, is social cohesion. They don't prevent all invasions but they manage to prevent more conflict than we do.

    I don't want to spoil it, but the reviews may indicate it for you. Equestria is not a utopia but it is the closest one we could see in fiction other than the Star Trek example you gave. Humans are lucky we don't have fictional villains to deal with on top of the real life villains we have in power. It's as I said before, had Queen Chrysalis not been a fictional character and she attacked Earth without opposition, humans would be finished. She is a master infiltrator as shown in episode A Canterlot Wedding, who almost succeeded in defeating Mane Six and Royal Sisters. If she were to do that on a larger scale on the human world, humans would be defenseless. Chrysalis doesn't have tanks, bombs and jets, but what she does have is shapeshifting, all she would need to do is manipulate people into depleting their resources, grinding down their allies, human ignorance would do the work for her. Also, if she summoned windigoes, we're definitely cooked. So yeah, good thing we don't have to deal with her.

    Humans have been on the dark side of history for a very long time. I find it laughable that some people out there would think the human military would stand a chance against her if in some fictional world scenario, Chrysalis invaded, if anything she would see humans as easily deceived life forms, and she'd be right in that assumption, she could employ a variety of different tactics to get what she wants, mind control, shapeshifting, an army of clones, take your pick. if she had invaded our world, our world would have been toast a long time ago.

    Flight of Dragons movie highlighted the paradoxical nature of humans choosing science, but then developing weapons of mass destruction. You know, I would have loved it if Hasbro were to make a My Little Pony FIM movie, that takes place after episode Last Problem, where Queen Chrysalis does something similar to what Ommadon tried to do in Flight of Dragons, use magic to manipulate humans into starting WW3, but gets her plans thwarted somehow when they catch on to what she was doing. A cautionary tale about misuse of technology.

    Equestria is so much more peaceful than the real world, I know they have villains in Friendship is Magic still and Equestria gets invaded from time to time, but the real world has had far more invasions, people forget that when they criticize MLP as if Celestia or Luna are somehow bad at their duties. In the real world, humans still manage to cause war on a regular basis, we haven't really earned the moral high ground to criticize what they do wrong, not that we could because they are fictional characters, but in a fantasy world scenario where people attempted it, Luna and Celestia could just as easily complain about the stupidity of nuclear weapons in our world.

    Magical rainbows to remove narcissism from people would be really useful right now, unfortunately we don't have magic powers. I hate our world so much, this is why I wished I could be reincarnated into Equestria as a Pegasi. It's not you, you're not the problem, however there are people who hold certain prejudices that make our world difficult to tolerate.

    I like My Little Pony, but after reading information about EG I know it's not going to be a spin off I will like, that doesn't mean I hate Friendship is Magic or the morals it promotes though. Unity is important, love is not a meaningless concept, without that emotion we would not have survived. Compassion is what prevents us from killing each other. And they are jerks, anti-bronies are not nice people, they are a symptom of what is wrong with society, bullying culture. They bully people to make themselves feel better, but that does not change the fact that they are cruel and selfish.

    At least with my MLP fan fiction the afterlife system prevents the human world from ever being a problem for Equestria. Because the afterlife system acts as a filter against corruption, and encourages growth and redemption.

    Having a portal where characters can freely move between dimensions unregulated however, is not something I would expect of Equestria to be comfortable with. I don't hate My Little Pony, however I don't like the spinoffs.

    If all your spin off has is musical numbers you're going to need to do more to impress me with that. Friendship is Magic > Equestria Girls.

    I vented my problem with Equestria Girls spin off in a different thread, I still don't get why that is so popular with a flawed plot, when I read the synopsis of it, I knew it was not going to be my cup of tea. But worse than that, it literally makes the main characters much worse than their Friendship is Magic counterparts, why? because it makes them look incompetent, especially Princess Celestia. And making the human world accessible via a portal is a recipe for disaster for both worlds, it's laughable, only it's not so funny when you realize this isn't a slapstick comedy cartoon, it actually has a story with character arcs.

    When I read up on the synopsis of EG I immediately knew it was going to be bad, a spinoff that involves a student of Princess Celestia turning rogue then obtaining a highly dangerous magic that could jeopardize the safety of Equestria as a whole, is completely absurd, and although Celestia does not make the best choices sometimes, I think this is still out of character for her. making the human world accessible to Equestria is an extremely dangerous situation for both worlds involved, if Princess Celestia knew this was possible she should have kept that knowledge a secret between herself and Princess Luna in my opinion. Why would she risk some random Pony obtaining the ability to open a stargate to the dimension humans inhabit? one of the most corrupt species in the multiverse. Sorry, I am inclined to believe Princess Celestia is above reckless behaviour like that, and this is why I don't want to bother with the spin offs, which end up being fan service more than anything else. If they ruin the characterization this much, then I see no point in supporting them.
