I relate to Princess Luna in MLP FIM the most, while I cannot say my hardships were as severe as hers, in the show her life was much harder than my own, despite the fact I don't come from a wealthy family, I have mental health problems, sure, but at least there are people willing to address mine and I received healthcare and medication for that. Princess Luna in MLP FIM on the other hoof, well, her problems mostly got ignored until it got really bad for her in Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep? it got to the point where she did not just think of self harm, she actually did it, and I genuinely felt bad for her last time I watched a clip from that episode, I watched the whole episode a long time ago, don't remember all the details, just bits of it where Rainbow Dash had that funny dream she hated, after that, Princess Luna and her friends dealt with the dream demon Tantabus. Seeing that clip of her where Princess Luna burst into tears from her self condemnation, though it was not a wise decision to create Tantabus, I still believe she deserved mercy, and she got it from her friends, showing how strong the sense of community is in Equestria, that is what I love about the characters and the show, I do wish Princess Celestia paid more attention to her sisters problems though, because that is what I believe indirectly resulted in their argument in episode Royal Problem in season 7, but even she is not perfect, I've seen fictional monarchs do far worse than her and I don't believe Celestia's behaviour was intentional, it was more the case of ignorance than spite toward Luna, however on the whole, from what I have seen of the show in other episodes as well, they help each other through their problems not out of expectation or ulterior motives, they are charitable, more charitable than humans are IRL, and they're not quick to start a war whenever there is someone causing a problem there with a shoot first ask questions later ideology, this was shown when Twilight Sparkle attempted to reason with Starlight Glimmer who was carrying heavy emotional burdens of her own in Cutie Remark, and that is why I wished I could reincarnate into Equestria to be part of that community, but it cannot ever happen. Yes, I would trust Twilight Sparkle to be a diplomat for Equestria, she seems to be good at neutralizing threats with strategy or psychological warfare, I could see a friendship happening with her too, and other members of Mane Six like Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and yes even Rainbow Dash. As for me and Princess Luna, we both feel bad for wrongs we have done, we both wished we could have done otherwise, but we cannot turn back time, only move on and learn. Goes back to the wisdom from Rafiki in Disney's movie Lion King "Oh yes, the past can hurt, but the way I see it you can either run from it, or you can learn from it." there is no greater wisdom here, it is what you do with the knowledge in the here and now, is what matters most, because the choices you make now, can affect the future.

Thinking about how I am migrating over to Linux on future PC systems. Got tired of repeated OS reinstalls and it is apparently a common issue, which sometimes, the reinstall update feature doesn't even fix, not if the registry is damaged and something happens to your admin permissions which happened to me once. Access denied errors should have been fixable without clean OS reinstalls. But Windows is so bad at what it does that it requires third party apps like Iobit Uninstaller to repair driver conflicts. So dumb, on every machine I've had Linux on I never had problems like this, not once.

I've had this same experience with Window Blinds 11 and Winstep, having recently gone through an OS clean install I'm fairly confident either one of those UI changing apps had something to do with it as nothing goes wrong with my PC generally speaking otherwise. On my next PC build I am going over to either Ubuntu or Debian, Windows is poorly coded, and it doesn't seem to take much to corrupt the files, it doesn't take malware or a faulty drive to do it, just third party software being allowed to interfere with the system files over some weird glitch. Before my recent OS reinstall, I had a permissions error problem that disabled my ability to delete desktop shortcuts, and I am the admin of my PC so that should not have been possible. I've had it with Microsoft OS's like Windows, as there appears to be a pattern of this behaviour judging by complaints I've seen on not just this forum. If Microsoft does not want people using UI tweakers, then they should make the system UI more customizable by default.

Listening to music Watching Youtube videos Gaming (sometimes) Crafting and thinking up ideas for my MLP fan fiction. I suppose I'll be collecting figurines, including MLP merchandise. I've recently browsed on the web for figures (including both MLP and non MLP characters) of Michael Myers, Ghostface, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Maleficent, and Queen Chrysalis, the reason I want these on my shelf is so I have a set of ornaments ready for October Halloween. I may order a shirt with a picture of Queen Chrysalis to wear on Halloween as well. I watch movies and TV shows on my TV or PC monitor sometimes, but not often. I've recently set up my PS2 not just as a gaming console as it was designed by Sony to do, but watch DVD videos as well. I got a decent pair of headphones I listen to music with, and trust me, high quality music gear is worth the money spent. CD's > streaming.

But deadly also Queen Chrysalis is hardcore enough for Halloween. I'm looking for a cool piece of merchandise to purchase in October. Queen Chrysalis figurines and shirts would be nice, but they're in short supply it seems, those tariffs are not helping no doubt.

Take it from somebody with experience with insomnia and difficulty sleeping some nights, I know, escapism is my coping mechanism for getting my mind away from negative news stories that I can do nothing about to help them, but even that coping mechanism can fail if I have not had enough sleep, as it makes me more likely to become irritable. Lack of sleep is not healthy for anyone. I know there's a lot of bigotry people mental health problems are victimized by, but it's not like what we say to them will change their opinion. I know it's difficult to not get obsessed with things that bring our moods down, but for peace of mind it is worth it. I'm not saying iforgotmybrain was doing this, just that there is toxicity on social media platforms that are best for us to avoid. Culture war rubbish in the real world is a reason I indulge in my fanfiction. And I do agree with @Night Sky on this one, Equestria is a better world, despite their own problems. I know that Ponies have this problem where they can get bullied for not having cutie marks, or inability to fly But bullying happens far more often in the real world still, and with worse results. I once got into a debate about this with somebody else, who complained about Equestria in MLP FIM show having incompetent Rulers. Rulers in real life suck and promote war, and that is why I don't vote anymore, coming from somebody who cannot stand the GBNews audience and sometimes their hosts, I'd say they're the British equivalent of Fox News.

I'd be careful about posting anything MLP related on other platforms. While MLP forums is generally a safe space to discuss this including OCs and fanfictions, it's clearly not the same everywhere. I know Dah Onion Eater likes the Rainbow Factory fanfiction, while not my cup of tea, I can respect other people's like for it because we have a thing called freedom of expression. Why do you think I talk about my MLP fanfic fantasies here on this forum, but not anywhere else outside private discussion? keep in mind my fanfics are not even sexualized. Although I am thinking of making my OC (in adulthood after reincarnation and growing up as a Pegasi in the next life) have a secret crush on Princess Luna in alternate timeline Equestria, that's as far as that would go, even then my imaginary self would be too embarrassed to admit that to her especially if other Ponies caught onto that, and hey, at least it's better than the Rarity X Spike implication in the official show. Some people may not understand why, but different nature and nurture means different beliefs, interests and values. There are lots of fictions out there that talk about reincarnation, and characters do not always get reborn as the same species they were before. I think stories like that are more interesting however, as they help show that sentient life is to be respected no matter what form they take, and that humans are not the center of everything. If I could choose this reincarnation into Equestria fictional world like in my fanfic, I could not say no, even if I had to give up my human form after that life was over in the afterlife to do it. I want to learn from them, be one of them, contribute to the greater good with those new abilities, that would not change just because I'd become a Pony, to me that'd be a symbol of appreciation for their acceptance, and I don't believe I'm inherently better than anyone else. In a way, fan fictions like this are food for thought about the topic of speciesism.

That is a good point there, some villains in horror films have specific targets, then you have characters who are not villains, they're simply predators who eat to survive like in Jurassic Park. I would not put them in the same category as Michael Myres or Freddy Krueger. But then if I am going to add dragons to the list I may as well consider Jurassic Park dinosaurs figurines for my collection as well, dragons are not always depicted as evil, it depends on the fiction, if you're talking about Bryargh from Flight of Dragons then yes, that guy was horrible and burned Sir Orrin Neville Smythe to death.

Might seem silly on the face of it but judging by how sadistic Queen Chrysalis was in the My Little Pony comics from what I researched in the wiki, I'd say she is in the same tier of evilness as Maleficent from Disney, cold and calculating villain. Whether you're dealing with a sadistic child killer like Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street or a cruel Queen of Changelings in MLP who kills a kitten in front of children to make her point, neither characters would be comfortable for us to be around if we were in any of those fictional universes. Also if I'm not mistaken in the comic version, it was implied Chrysalis uses her energy draining ability not just as a survival mechanism, she uses it to torture and mocks her victims while doing it. Yeah, I'd say that fits the description for a Halloween scare.
