general What's your zodiac sign and do you believe in zodiacs?
Avery replied to Ittoni's topic in General Discussion
I’m a Libra Sun with a Leo rising and a Virgo moon. Yeah… there’s a lot going on with these three signs in one soul. -

I don’t believe in finding “someone to date” on a dating app. Since I’m not the kind of person who go looking and searching for people to date. I prefer the natural old school way.

Do You "Look" Like Your Personality?
Avery replied to ~Master~ Button Mash's topic in General Discussion
Hm whenever people came up to me and the first few second on their expressions I get from just reading them, is either unsure or what it may seems like I’m unapproachable. But by the time I open my mouth to greet with a handshake, I can tell they become comfortable around me. So I can appear as “brick wall” but I’m actually a nice guy. In retrospect, in personality I appears as stern or businesslike. But once you get to know me, I’m not all that 24/7. -
general Biggest waste of time you've ever put a lot of work into?
Avery replied to That Guy with the CMB's topic in General Discussion
Hmm can’t think of anything. As part of my character trait, I know what projects or things that are worth putting my effort and energy into. -
A Yearly Recap; or, State of the Longhaul Redux
Avery commented on Longhaul's blog entry in Longhaul's Journeys
I often find myself stumbling upon a story or two from others. Sometimes, during a smoke break, someone will sit beside me and share about their loss, struggles or situationships. I usually just sit quietly and listen. Should I offer a word or two? I wonder to myself. But when their story comes to a close, I simply nod, taking it all in, as they rise from their seat and return to work. In those moments, I’m left alone again with a quiet thought: thank you for sharing your story. Your journey may at times feel lonely, but it carries meaning. Each step you take—whether left or right—is still a step forward. And that part of your journey is what I find so inspiring. We’re grateful to have you as part of our team and our community, Longhaul. You’ve come this far, and that alone is proof of how much you’ve accomplished—by simply being here. It’s always a gift to hear new things from you, and it makes it a little less lonely. -

What kind of friends do you want in every way?
Avery replied to liujiadong's topic in General Discussion
My god.. well.. I’m happy what I have now. A friend like @Ice Princess Silky <3 who is both loving and supportive yet truly care enough to be honest, firm, and see things I don’t see in myself. But still standing by my side. A friend like @Clawdeen who chooses me to be open with fully without me asking. When someone trust me to something important to them it is something I hold dear like an honorary code. A friend like @Longhaul, who speaks with clarity about his needs and boundaries. I deeply respect this honesty, and I admire it. A Friend like @Emerald Heart who shows deep gratitude and generous kindness towards me. A friend like @Samurai Equine who I can feel at ease and peace with his presence and of course his genuine giving nature that I felt that isn’t physical but rather through his words. Friends like @TheRockARooster and @Dynamo Pad, who have been having me in their thoughts for all livestreams. Even though I couldn’t make it to most of them, I appreciate their thoughtfulness. Friends like @ExplosionMare and @Sparklefan1234 who gives me joy. The kind of lighthearted moments that reminds me that laughter is best medicine for life. And now, new friends like @StaryStory, and many more as the journey continues. Each one shows me that friendship cannot be pinned down to a single definition. It is not about what I demand from others, but about the unexpected gifts each person reveals — the proof that friendship is alive, and real.- 17 replies

It would be either a Doberman or Orcas. Doberman are known for their loyalty and pride. Orcas are known for moving in a pods rather in solidarity, strength and endurance.

A little weirded because while at church, I sat down next to this girl who just kept giving me side eyes, staring and looking at my direction, like analyzing me.. while smiling. I was like It felt like the longest 30 mins of awkwardness.

Hm, that’s a good question—how does one truly let go? The more I think about it, the more I realize I never really wanted to. A friend once told me it’s as if I’m waiting for someone else to give me permission to release the rope. My hands still cling tightly, even when the storm has already passed and the sea is calm.

Quillhelm jumped at Luna’s booming voice, eyes wide. “Zoinks! Looks like no anemia for me—my heart’s pumping enough to light a lighthouse.” He gave Viola’s back a casual tap with his hoof. He shot Viola a flat look. “Happy now, Miss Nightshift?” Everyone was aboard the train now, busy with greetings and introductions. Quillhelm, meanwhile, was still processing the fact that he’d been hauled onto the carriage by a giant bird. He shook his head, then glanced over at the newcomers with a mix of suspicion and curiosity. @Sparklefan1234 “Trixie’s ego isn’t just big, it’s a local landmark.”
