  1. So, what is everybody else doing during the time a new episode is normally televised? I just spent the entire 10:00 to 11:00 am Eastern MLP time slot having fun here.
  2. I just catch myself saying "Eeyup" a lot when I simply said yup in the past. I don't say them out loud, but I do recite several MLP quotes in my head. The one I've been playing over and over again mentally is Scootaloo: "These namby pamby stories aren't getting us any closer to our cutie marks! They're all about finding out who you really are and boring stuff like that. We need action! We need Rainbow Dash!"
  3. If the saddle fits, wear it. I'm kinda surprised the map of Equestria has Vanhoover but not Seaddle. How could they not see that from a mile away?
  4. 10/10. And that applies to everyone, not just Azurepony4269. You're all the most self-centered, ego-maniacal lot I've ever had the displeasure of meeting online. Just foolin' around. You're all good people
  5. What is the average number of episodes to get someone hooked on MLP anyway? For me it was about 4 or 5. Anyway, I have a roommate who sometimes joins me to watch new episodes on Saturday mornings. I'm glad that she's cool with me being a brony. But she says she'll never be a fan of the show herself. She may be too preoccupied with Transformers to develop strong feelings for another cartoon. But she has watched about 4 episodes with me now. There's always a chance the next one she sees could push her over the edge right? I'm sorry I don't have anything specifically to help you here, Zach, except to say that gently exposing them to MLP may be the way to go.
  6. Concord is very well known in this section. Who knows, he may even get mentioned in the history books someday.
  7. You probably have 200 posts total, but they're not counted because you're in the lounge. <_< But...I can't call you on posts I can't see so... One.
  8. This is an adorable PMV, it just made my day! You've really captured the chemistry between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo here. And because I'm lazy, instead of brohoofing it here, I liked it on Youtube instead.
  9. A cereal commercial from the late 1980s starring late wrestler and actor Andre the Giant. Notice that he's wearing his Fezzik costume from The Princess Bride.
  10. I know some Spanish. That is the only non-English language I studied in school and there are several bilingual English-Spanish speakers at work so I still pick up a bit here and there. I also know a teeny tiny bit of Italian.
  11. As much as we loved Rarity's drama in Dog and Pony show, Cutie Mark Chronicles reveals too much information about the ponies' backgrounds. "Ugh! These namby-pamby stories aren't getting us any closer to our cutie marks! They're all about finding who you really are and boring stuff like that."

  13. I'll be honest. I actually had to take a minute to think about it. But I agree that May the Best Pet Win is the overall better story.
  14. Please drink responsibly.

      Batbrony

      Of course, always!!!

  15. Spike's heart still belongs to Rarity. But she's kept him in the friendzone so long that he's probably open to a reasonable alternative. Until now, his flirting with Applejack stayed just below my radar. But looking back, from the almost “accidental” kiss in Dog and Pony Show to the massage in Spike at Your Service, it now seems painfully obvious. Check out this little clip. Sadly, I don't even know what episode it's from. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pkVC2JWTgU Sound effect gag aside, what is up with that? I imagine AJ is exaggerating a bit, but why would Spike hug her repeatedly if he considered her just another older female pony friend? “Hoo there, loverboy,” indeed!
  16. Here we see Scootaloo teasing Sweetie Belle about her latest art project while Apple Bloom looks on. What? Look, there are three young girls, none of them have hands, and one of them is wearing a big red bow. Anybody could get them confused. http://switchpoint.deviantart.com/art/Bubbles-Loves-Her-Crayons-26335099 All kidding aside, I first drew this for a Powerpuff Girls forum back in 2005. Enjoy!
  17. I have seen Tank's propeller. The motor emits a yellow glow but I don't know if it's powered by electricity or magic. While candles are popular, there are lots of electric lights in Equestria. The most common use in the cartoon is stage lighting. Don't forget the electric lamp that Rainbow Dash switches on and off repeatedly in the hospital.
  18. I'm surprised Kellogg's doesn't have an issue with the name. Even though a cartoon and a cereal are in vastly different businesses, we've seen copyright litigation over more disparate things than that. I agree, but if it's not alcoholic, why is it so addicting?
  19. Hurry up. My arms are getting tired from maintaining this pose.
  20. I would say, on average, Equestria technology dates to the 1930s. There are a few things that ponies are ahead of the curve on like widespread use of color film and electric megaphones (which require transistors). Cameras are compact and fairly modern looking but they all use good old fashioned film. On the other hand, I've never seen a TV or a radio. There is no automobile industry. They appear to have all the prerequisites for cars but nopony so far has taken the concept to mass production. Remember that necessity is the mother of invention. They have lighter than air aircraft. But with plenty of pegasi to go around, there isn't much of a need for airplanes. Because we can't see the screens in Hooves and Hearts Day, the arcade games may not be video games as we know them. More than likely they're electro mechanical games similar to a pinball machines.
