Brief Pony-Related Convo with my Mom

(A brief convo between my mom and myself; with some slight embellishment to improve the "flow" lol.)

Mom: *whilst looking at my Rainbow Dash screensaver* Aww, she's so sleepy. Look at the little sleepy baby.  (RD was napping on a cloud, as she is wont to do.)
Me: Ummm, you know I'm physically attracted to Rainbow Dash, right?
Mom: You're physically attracted to her?
Me: Yes.
Mom: ...Well I was attracted to... You know him... He was green.
Me: Oscar the Grouch.
Mom: Piccolo! (from Dragon Ball Z lol)

The only pony-related talk I've had with my mom was when I had my Rainbow Dash hat out on the couch. She saw it and was like "Is that a pony? Haha yes it's a pony! Look at that. Kids these days, always doing the opposite of what you'd expect.", and that was it

I don't talk to my parents much.

 

My dad just asked how I can watch my little pony without being high.

 

And my granny was watching an episode with me and my son and she'd say:

granny "look at the kitty!" (she meant rarity)

me "they're ponies"

granny "oh, there's a kitty and ponies"

me "no, they're all ponies. lol"

granny "well the purple one is a kitty"
