Do You Get Depressed/Angry When Your Waifu Is Officially Taken In The Show?

There have been some really crazy fanfictions and some artwork of flash being offed. The Anger can really be by the brony who wrote and drew them.

 

The thing is that Twilight is still single and has not been taken yet. But just having a small romantic interest in Equestria Girls has really set the stage for a possible pairing in which many bronies will rage. Hopefully Hasbro does not pair them and keep Twilight and other ponies single to keep the peace to prevent angering a very large fanbase and profit for them.

Hell yeah, Flash Sentry himself is not a lovable character, he was just water under the bridge to me, but the haters made me love him. He's to me what Derpy, Lyra, Vinyl, Octavia, etc, are to the rest of the fandom . What pisses me off though, is when they go to that way with the fanfics where they give him the Ron, the Death Eater treatment, even going to the extreme of making him a rapist in some of them .

I have a feeling that the love relationship will begin IN EQ2 with human flash. After that Twilight willl eventually fall in love with pony Flash Sentry when she returns to Equestria and their relationship will build up in futures seasons. I feel that eventually in some sort of season finale Twilight will marry pony flash as it really seems bound to happen at some point. However, this may not happen but at this point it seems unlikely. Many bronies that claim Twilight as their waifu should brace for impact as it really looks like Hasbro is going to do it.

 

I really hope this does not happen for many bronies sake as more relationships in general in MLP is not a good idea.

No. In my headcanon, Polygamy is legal. I will get mad if Rarity is taken by a terrible character, though. I want her to be with a pony who is good where I would be fine being with him, too.

Honestly, I hope it doesn't happen period... The whole point of MLP was to get out of female stereotypes. Throwing in a cheap romance+marriage for Twilight (who I feel would be the only one who would actually get an official relationship, since she is the main mane 6) would ruin that...

I mean we do get attached to the characters, but even though the shipping is fan fiction, i can't help but get that little knot in my gut like "No! She is mine!" Haha

The good news is that many of you bronies who claim Twilight as their waifu can breath a sigh of relief, she is still single and we can thank Trixie for that lol.

 

I am glad Hasbro kept Twilight single and I hope they keep it that way for all of the characters in the show.

I don't have a waifu (I don't see the point, since they're not real) so I guess I can't really answer that. I mean I guess if I did, they'd cease to be my waifu (since I'm not a polygamist), but again, they're not real, so it's pointless anyway.

 

 

I don't have a "waifu"... Whatever in the world that is. I'm afraid I'm not attracted multi-colored cartoon horses. Even if I was, I would never refer to them as a 'waifu'. That seems derogatory. The characters were never made to be anybody's 'waifu'.

i have to admit... Rarity is my waifu and i get bad when i saw that Spike is in love with her... and the thing is that he MAY get a chance but after fourth season and see he is indiferent to Rarity's crush in Trenderhooves and the Inspiration manifestation episode, Spike is a friend only

 

 

anyways, one person cant say "is just a ficitional character!" "is just a little girl cartoon!" "you look ridiculous getting feelings for a pony, a plushie" or whatever, thing is, the character, exisiting or not changed our lifes and sometimes a girlfriend cant do that in some cases, i like to see them as symbols, ideas, we see the character and we realizesomething that the pony is offering a feeling!

 

Dont get me wrong, but just as an example, in religion when people see a cross, it make us think in the religion and with it, a thousand of ideas that means that cross, same with ponies, we see a pony and she means more than just the purpose or appereance, is a mind, being Rarity or Twilight or Applejack, what makes them special are their personalities we are not weird for love fictional ponies, we found the salvation of our feelings in a place where is more pure than society, that is my opinion

Honesty, I find pony flash more likeable as a character as he does not have the human like Brad personality due to the differences between how the human and pony world world influences can effect how a character acts to an extent. That said, I still rather see Twilight remain single.

My girl's very much a single mare, and I'm pleased with that. I don't think I'd care much if she were paired off with somebody, provided a good story came of it and they had fun chemistry with one another. Really don't want to see her end up with a Wonderbolt though, cause she's too good for those slowpokes I'd like for Dash's love to have different interests than hers and ground her a little.

I don't have a problem with ponies getting married in the show. Although that's because I am against the idea of having virtual pony waifus. You can't talk to them and have them respond back (although you could create a tulpa of that pony, but it's still a spiritual/psychic entity, not flesh), so I don't see a point. Although there are ponies I feel close with, especially Twilight Sparkle.

 

My position is as long as they don't mess up a pony's character, I have no problem with them getting married.

I believe it to have a lot to do with self-esteem needs which can be quite arbitrary and contrived which is how people can get upset over the seemingly silliest of things. Something I tend to find in a lot of people with waifus is that they rely pretty heavily on it to feel more in balance, so to speak.

Fluttershy was almost stolen by Discord in a recent episode with the hippy pony, just as he did with Celestia at the Season 4 finale. Luckily he did not and bronies rejoice.
