gaming What if your OC was in a fighting game?

Okay, so I got this idea from a random conversation I had with a friend.

So, what if you could play your OC in a fighting game, such as Marvel VS. Capcom or Super Smash Bros? What would their play style be, and what kinds of abilities would they have?

To start off, here's some of my OCs.

Iron Hammer:

Iron would be a very tank-ish character. He'd be slow, with a lot of defense, and his attacks would be lumbering sword swings that have long animations, but are nearly impossible to escape if they aren't interrupted.

Roac:

Roac would be a very offensive character, having no kind of blocking ability. However, he would be able to deal massive damage with his bow at long range, and if an opponent got close Roac could obliterate them with several rapid melee attacks.

Mystic Rivet:

Rivet would be a very long-range character, using his gadgets to flood the screen with Kamehama-style beams of energy and shielding himself with force fields. He'd have no real way to defend himself at close range, though.

And, I'll just post my friend's OC here for ya;

Gale:

Gale would have a unique play style, being a fragile, slow-moving fighter. But, she has very powerful transmutation magic for defense, allowing her to call up her transmutation circle and simply "turtle" until her opponent loses patience and tries to rush her. She could then use her melee attacks, which do extremely high amounts of damage, to kill her opponent in seconds.

idk maybe my OC, Lola, would use magic to attack and possibly either 2 things can happen... either she kills every enemy in the game or she runs away to avoid it since all she does is draw but strong anger can cause her to go into extremes so either or can happen

Kurai: She acts lady like but has a real weak spot for booze and is unnaturally strong for a pony of her size and build, so I guess she would be a brawler of sorts, in the fight for the long run. Medium amount of damage but at a very consistent rate and being able to take a lot of punishment herself.

Aisu: She would be more about messing with her opponent, fucking with their minds and then going in for the kill. She would hit hard and fast, deceiving her opponents and then taking advantage of their mistakes.

Winter Touch: While not having any real straight up damage, that will change very quickly the longer and the more rage she builds up. When she becomes angrier, the her attacks will start to change, becoming more brutal.  But seeing as she is only eleven, she is inexperienced so the more powerful attacks are slower in comparison to her weaker ones.
She is the type that you have to beat fast if you want to stand a chance.

Galatea:

Galatea would most likely be a close-range melee fighter, possibly even using tools to smack her opponent around with (because she'd totally hit them with a heavy wrench or something like that, haha). Her defense would be deflecting her opponent's attacks, and she might have the chance to counterhit if timed correctly. She would likely do well against close- to mid-range fighters, but be weak against long-range opponents.

Ariel:

Ariel would almost certainly use her talent to her advantage, creating magical constructs to conjure weapons and shields alike at will. She'd likely prefer mid- to long-range combat, though she would be capable of fighting close-combat opponents. Her movements would be quick, jittery almost, as she dodges her opponent's moves. There would be a moment of recoil for her if one of her magical constructs were to be broken, leaving her briefly open to attack.

Nano:

Buck yes, battle mode. Nano is normally quite docile, but once he switches into his battle mode to fight, he becomes very aggressive. He would be strong in offense, with powerful close-range melee hits and devastating long-range attacks. But he would have minimal defense; he would probably charge often, opening himself up to attack multiple times - though he would recover quickly and try to retaliate if hit from behind.

Every fight would be a stalemate. Amber can't really do any damage nor can the opponent harm her. Fighting a ghost is a bit difficult unless you're armed with a vacuum and flash light. She would have punches, kicks and flight, but none of them would do anything. It would be like you're using the noclip cheat.

She would have a final attack of sorts though. Her horn would glow, the screen would shake violently and particle effects would fly everywhere upon its use. Then an eraser or some other small harmless object to fly in from the corner of the screen and hit the enemy with a *konk!* sound for 1 point of damage.

Mythos Gray would be a mobile defensive fighter, fragile yet with many tricks to avoid an ooponant's attacks. Would also be a fighter focused on skill not raw power.

Would play much like Raphael from the Soul Calibur series. He would have a teleport ability that can be used to recover from a fall, and the means of creating an illusionary double in which to avoid being hit.

Of note though again tanks or heavy fighters he is unlikely to deal much damage or take many hits, with the lowest physical defense and strength out of my main characters.

---------------

Golden Dawn, as a soldier type, would have high strengh and meduim toughness, as well as hight armour. Without a doubt the tank of my chatacters, with the most raw power and fighting skill. Yet he would also be the slowest, though as a pegasus he would still be fairly mobile. As a pegasus he can fly and thus take to the air and avoid attacks from nonfliers. Golden is more predictable and easier to avoid his attacks then other fighters.

Would play much like Siegfried from the Soul Calibur series.

---------------

Stardream... is not a fighter, she neither has the skill or talent for such. Instead she is an astrologer and seer.

Selune would be the stealthy and quick fighter striking from the shadows. She would toss sleep powder to paralyze and stun her enemies and she would use an array of throwing knives. Last but not least she would be cloning herself and stuff. Here are her spells.

Arcane Pollen Creates a small cloud of glittering pollen which blinds and creates a minor allergic reaction that irritates enemies caught within it's radius. Makes invisible creatures visible.

Project mode creates illusory copy of Selune which can move around and cast the same spells she can cast, however it can't make physical attacks and Selune cannot move during duration of spell. The spell ends if illusory copy is destroyed, or if Selune's focus is disrupted by physical harm or otherwise, or the illusion is dispelled.

Mislead renders Selune invisible and teleports her a few meters away from her original position. While the illusionary copy can't attack or cast spells, it can move and has same physical potential as Selune. Destroying the copy reveals Selune and dispells the invisibility. Selune can choose to only cast the invisibility portion resulting in Camouflage a makes her a living chameleon up to 1 hour.

True Sight This spell dispells all hostile illusions within 20 meter radius of Selune.

Final Reflection Selune creates a magical mirror roughly half her size which she rotates around her by will. The mirror will reflect spells cast against her, and deflect physical blows. Unfortunately it lasts only one minute and can only be cast once per 5 hours due to the physical strain it takes upon her.

Phantom Strike (A move rather than a spell) Selune Teleports behind her opponent appearing with the puff of a black smoke. Then she attacks her opponent using a highly concentrated Telekinetic Impact Spell ((See Twilight Sparkle in the battle with the changelings)) Selune relies on her speed and agility, rather than brute force. She seeks to find the weak spots of her enemies ((whether by magic or otherwise)). She is gradually teaching herself martial arts until she finds a proper teacher.

On the other hand... hoof... Terra would be the bulky fighter that wouldn't let anyone pass while charging in. He would be the kind of guy that uses raw strength to get through others and his phoenix for high moves.

Vigorous Roar:Terra roars like a lion boosting the courage and strength of all allies who hear it, and demoralizing enemies.

Restless:His body requires half the sleep normal ponies do which makes him a perfect candidate for night-shifts.

High jump:Hating the arrogance of the flying creatures Terra learned this move to "Bring their heads out of their clouds". Depending on his focus he can jump 4-5 meters high. This move can be used in combination with others.

Tap the Earth:As an Earth Pony his mother always taught him to "listen to the earth" by tapping it. With this ability Terra taps a surface and is able to get a rough idea of what he cannot see. (e.g. People, objects e.t.c) However this ability only has a medium level of detail.

Stomp:Terra stomps the Earth with strength attempting to knock creatures off their balance within a 3 meter radius. If used with High Jump it results in Thundering Stomp which has double the efficiency. This can be used on a target as well resulting in Body Stomp. Effectiveness of the later depends on whether or if the target wears any kind of armor and the armor's efficiency.

Headbutt:Terra heabutts his enemies. However this results in him being dizzy for a few seconds after doing so. If used withHigh Jump it results in Skydive doubling the efficiency and the dizziness duration.

This is perhaps something that I have oddly thought about before. Wrapping it up into a quote to make it look nice and tidy.

Amber Rays

Character Type:  Light/Agile Melee Fighter

Occupation:  Afternoon Cloud Manager

Location:  San Flanksisco

Personalitity: Intelligent, Flirty and Artistic

Signature Move:  Sunset Burst

Other Moves: Fog Roll, Ocean Breeze and Flash Fire

Sunset Burst (Special)

Draws upon the dying light of the day to cause her wings to ignite with the heat of the sun, before flying into her opponent, striking them with her superheated feathers and expending her solar power.

Fog Roll

Spins forward into her opponent, creating a sheet of fog behind her that can confuse those that encounter it before it dissipates.

Ocean Breeze

Flaps her wings quickly, building up a cool wind that pushes her opponent back with a chance to knock them down.

Flash Fire

Heats up the air around her, igniting the ground around her which causes damage to those that get close to her.

Amber Rays is the ponified version of me and like her she comes from around San Fransisco (San Flanksisco). My personal element is fire and so her element is the same which is reflected in her talent and other abilities, which also reflect the fact that the sun sets in the West as well the West Coast suffers grass fires on occassion. As a local cloud manager she also has the ability to generate and maintain fog and create breezes.

My ponysona's name is Frozen Gem, and she probably couldn't do much other than charm people and bake poisoned cookies for them. XD She could probably do some close combat or cut people with diamonds.

If Phoenix Wright can hit people with words, anyone can be in a fighting game no matter how stupid their attacks are.

Crimson Grin: Crimson would be an extremely overpowered fighter, and would be more suited as a boss character, as he is extremely quick, very strong, and has incredibly powerful offensive and defensive magical abilites. And on top of all of that, Crimson is a master swordsman, a gifted stratigist, and a very versitile fighter.

Well, seeing as there are so many ponies who have replied to this, I'll post a bonus OC whom I neglected to include in the first post (and also test my ability to code quotes)

Moon Shadow: There would be two different playable versions of this fighter;

Human:

Moon would be a slow-moving fighter with powerful attacks and medium amounts of health, calmly walking across the battlefield while firing off shots from his Wheelock pistol, following up with devastating sword combos.

Shadow:

Moon, in this stage of his life (being a living shadow), would do 2 things;

On his own, he would be an annoying, trollish fighter, repeatedly juggling his enemies with uppercuts and teleporting them against their will.

When playing as another fighter in a tag-team match, he would function as a support character, allowing them to use his own powers of teleportation and shadow attacks, while also encasing them in a metallic shell to add an extra bar of health.
