Eating alone vs. eating with people

I prefer to eat with family if they are around. I like eating with friends and acquaintances if I am out at a restaurant or something.

As a guy I did not expect to be a natural Fluttershy. I always loved animals and was sensitive. Then I moved next door to a sociopath (Not joking) and I developed a hard shell to protect my self. This did not stop me from functioning normally of course, but sometimes people think I'm emotionless now

I'd eat depending on if the situation is convenient. I'd eat out with my roommate all the time, but if he's at class, then I wouldn't want to bother him, and eat alone.

Either one is ok. Eating alone sometimes feels sad, but eating with others sometimes feels awkward. So it varies. But I do like both.

I prefer to eat alone or with family or a few close friends.  I like eating alone so I can eat however I want without anyone staring at me for eating strangely.  This doesn't bother me much, I can eat alone and with people quite well.

I definitely prefer eating alone, because reasons. That usually ends up being me.

 

Plus I get to focus on finishing up quickly so I can get on to other, more exciting things! Not that I don't love eating. Live to eat or eat to live, it doesn't matter. Love it all, anyway!

 

Eating with others is strictly social, in my opinion. Except when you're in a buffet, specifically to eat with others, rather than just be with others while eating. You get to actually talk about the food, rather than just have the food there to occupy your stomach and unfortunately your mouth.

I prefer to eat alone indoors and outdoors.  as i'm eating i can be on an electric device like my phone mostly and the DS in the past. I don't want to eat with strangers because i'm in risk of someone wanting to converse with me.

The problem with eating with people is you have to actually pay attention and not make a mess of yourself. xP

 

Despite that, I prefer eating with people usually. As long as they're friends; it's nice to have conversation.

Eating with strangers feels wierd, because you think they're just watching you, like studying the way you eat, trying to make you seem odd. Especially when they're not eating.

Eating alone is so much better here are some reasons.

 

1- when eating alone you dont have to listen to friends or family smack there food or suck in air to get rid of the food between there teeth *shivers*

2- When I am eating I make sure I dont look like an idiot XD. But when you are alone you can eat an

yway you want and even miss your mouth (I do it a lot to be honest XD)

3- It is so much easier to eat alone because with people they are talking to you and your food gets cold.

4- It is just more peaceful to be alone.

5- You dont feel like a pig getting that good looking desert or huge meal.

I don't mind eating in front of people per say, but I would rather eat alone.

 

Although if I'm starving for food I could care less what anyone thinks of me. I'll pull out a picnic from my bag at school and have a buffet. Don't matter to me.

 

No joke, I've had other kids around me try and ask for food. Like what, I don't even know your name, get out. This one girl tried to get some pizza goldfish from me and I was like uh no, get cho stoned self out of my goldfish. She literally left school, got high, drank, got tacos, came back and then asked for my goldfish. No. Go away. My food.
