I would go to Twilight, I guess I'd make sure I am able to settle into this new environment as smoothly as possible and since Twilight would be able to give me the run down of the place I would be able to get around much easier. then I'd meet up with other ponies around town.

Not only would she show me around and help me make friends with everyone (which I would need help with, since I can be somewhat anxious around new folks), but she would certainly plan the best welcoming party EVER! Either Twilight or Pinkie. Like some other user said, Pinkie is the key to anypony in Ponyville, and thats mostly true. As for Twilight, i just feel like she would be the first pony to go to if i ever find myself in Ponyville. I dont know why, i just have that feeling.

I think it would be funny and cool to have Derpy show me around. Thanks to a fanfic I read, I think she would be the perfect guide to Equestria. She's funny and friendly like Pinkie, but I would be able to keep up with her, and she would be a good first friend. Then I would end up running into Pinkie at some point, and she would make a Welcome to Equestria party
