weirdest way you fell asleep

I don't fall asleep in odd ways, I wake up in a manner that suggests I fell asleep in an odd way. 

 

Let's see, the oddest place I've fallen asleep was a small rock concert. After an all-nighter, uncomfortable seats and noise don't matter. It was a convention-ish thing my parents made me go to when I was younger. I was tired, walked into one of the halls, sat down, and woke up half an hour later. I've also nearly fallen asleep standing up, as well as on a crowded bus. Oddly enough, drinking has yet to result in sleeping in a weird place.

For what ti's worth i woke up once hanging from the side of my bed wrapped in my covers like a cocoon. It was actually kinda comfy.

Once I fell asleep in a library when I was taking info from a book for my thesis. I was really tired and coming from my professional practice.

Other was when I was being attended in the dentist.

On the toilet at McDonalds when I used to work there. It was an early 5-AM opening shift and I went to the washroom on my break. I sort of leaned my elbow against my knee, rested my head on my hand and simply fell asleep.

Well, this happened a few times. I'd be reading a book for an assignment back in college (before I graduated) and then all of a sudden, I would find myself like 5 or 6 pages ahead of where I thought I was at. Seems like I fell asleep reading, but was still technically reading in my sleep. >_<

 

Another would be when I didn't get the sleep I intended and end up drifting in and out of consciousness at times. I'm usually good a keeping myself awake at work, but sometimes...I might as well be a working zombie, if that makes sense. >_<

The weirdest way I can think of is I've fallen asleep while cuddling my laptop... I was on my drawing table while doing so AND I was sucking my thumb... This was recently!

also just gonna say I sleep on the ground every single night. I am never comfortable in a bed. If I ever meet any of you in the real world and I sleep over I will just fall on the floor and sleep the floor is so comfortable to me :3.

1. After I was done with half of the Endless Setlist in Rock Band 2, I kept falling asleep in the middle of singing a song. I still finished, though. Six hours of singing isn't easy.

2. I fell asleep with my face on a keyboard. It didn't last long.

3. With a book standing up in front of me, I fell asleep. I don't know what I as supposed to learn. WHY CAN'T I FALL ASLEEP WHEN I FINISH A TEST 1 1/2 HOURS EARLY?!

Probably at school. I remember one time in 3rd grade I had this high fever and I literally just passed out on a bean bag in the nurse's office. I'm usually pretty paranoid about physical well-being.

 

Oh oh! No wait! I was on a jazz band trip to Salem last year and because we would get up so early and walk around in rain all day and get to our hotels at like 12, I went to a very loud jazz concert and just passed out sleeping in the middle of it. I tried to keep my eyes open and I couldn't. I guess jazz makes me fall asleep.

That reminds me...I listen to metal quite a bit, and I an fall asleep to it when it's blasting in my ears.

 

Come to think of it just about all music can do that me.

I fell asleep while standing in a classroom at school. I kept on sleeping during class and the teacher wanted me to stand. SO! I stood up, then fell asleep while standing. The teach was pissed.

When I was at a school camping trip I slept perfectly still, like a stiff in my sleeping bag. It was weird.

Some people want to be the kind of person to fall asleep in a tree while reading a book.

 

Other people just want to be the kind of person that doesn't fall down from a tree, no matter what they're doing. Personally, I'd so much rather be the former.

 

I fell asleep while playing Diablo 3 as a Crusader a month or two ago. I was level 70 on Torment 1, fighting Diablo himself. My health regeneration was higher than anything Diablo could put out, damage-wise, and I have honestly no idea how long I was asleep for, but when I snapped out of it, he was down to 1/4 health. I have absolutely no idea why.
