Sorry if that last post was lacking description. I just got back to find the princess choking and I didn't want Zaddion sitting there reading all the while!

"Q'sal, a singular, labyrinthine mind composed of a billion conflicting, paradoxical wills. Have you ever seen the swirling Aetherstorms in it's atmosphere? Smelled the shifting perfumes of intrigue upon it's people? Tasted the gluttonous banquets of ambition permeating from the Sorcerer-Technocrats? Heard the exquisite lies and thoughts of an unknowable population? No Slaaneshi pleasure I have indulged in comes close to that feeling, only in the embrace of Apotheosis could one aspire to find anything greater."

Just to point out in case anyone hasn't noticed... I narrate from my characters point of view as well. If I end up writing something like 'the stupid Mage' it's intended to be his opinion, not absolute fact.

I love bards, but I always picture this when bardsong is used in pretty much any setting:

Huh, it only just occurred to me that Zaddion was pretty much performing Magick CPR...

Also on a side note; does anyone think of a particular theme song for their OC? Is that weird? I'm curious~

Of course. I always do. I'd go dig up Robert's theme song, but I'm already listening to different music right now.

@,

Ooh, that's a good one. I have a couple characters with other Disturbed songs as their themes.

I've always enjoyed either cinematic or video game music over others, especially when it comes to themes for my OC's.

If I had to pick it would either be the 2nd "Darkness of the Unknown."

Or perhaps  the 2nd "The Eminence of Darkness." Although this would likely represent his darker side when he gives in to Shadow Magick (which you'll probably only see if he's really pissed off.)

Strange thing is when I pick themes for a character I don't think "what theme would fit this person?" I think "what theme would fit this person if they were a boss fight?"

Let me give all of you a subtle hint on what my character is like.

This is the song I'd choose for him:

How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts.

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

This is the first time I've actually played a 'thief' character and I was just wondering if I was doing it right and well so far.

Surprisingly so: folks normally seem to misinterpret 'thief' for 'master warrior' and its kind of refreshing seeing things like improvising by blocking with a crossbow.

Adrass will flip if he finds out that she's stolen from the order though: a bit of lore that I have stashed away that makes it something he really won't like hearing. :P

With the way I see it, thieves just steal stuff and improvise. Thief literally means "A person who has the inclination of taking things that don't belong to them." Don't get where people got the "master warrior" thing from.

Yeah I think too many people see the sneaky side of Thieves and confuse them with Assassins (who are usually in fact masters of fast-paced combat).
