For me it has to be Arthur! There are a lot of adults who wash it, but it never took off in the same way MLP has!

I was just thinking today of how there's some kid's shows that I think it would be cool if they had as big (and internet-present) a fandom as MLP. One of them would be Ruby Gloom. Another is The Powerpuff Girls. That show has a lot of older fans, including many male fans, but it's not even close to the size and internet-presence of MLP. 
Although technically I wouldn't want any kid's-show-fandom to be as big as MLP since then it might overshadow the MLP fandom (and I like our fandom being big ), but I'm just saying if there was going to be one that was as big, those shows would be two that I wouldn't mind.

Ummm...  Cow and Chicken LOL.  I wish that had gone on forever and gotten weirder and weirder-er.  I could have used some merch of the "Red Guy."  Or a t-shirt that read "The Ugliest Weenie."  And...  Teletubbies.  Just because I want to know how that would have panned out.  Hilariously, no doubt.  What would a 30-ish adult fan of Teletubbies identify as?

Kim Possible had a fairly large fangroup for a while, and I wish it would grow again.

Disney still needs to release the entire Kim Possible series on DVD/Blu-ray. They also should have remastered CDRR when they released it to disc. They did a weak job in mastering the discs. The REALLY should have finished the CDRR release! For some reason they never released part three! Yes, I'm still angry about that, Disney!

Another would be Blazing Dragons. The Monty Python-esque comedy is seriously under appreciated.

OT: If we're talking about newer shows, than definitely Steven Universe. Love that show, but I never see any fans of it.

 

I also sort of wish the rebooted Transformers had gotten more love. I loved that show, loved the characters (new or old) and cried at the ending. But I remember back in '11 bronies would make memes hating the show.

It's a really fun show and I love to watch it, but it's not known in most countries, maybe cause Spanish animation is not very popular in the world.

I also add Wander Over Yonder and Cubix, these two shows are unfairly ignored.

Seriously, that is one unsung show. There is actually a web comic that was produced that takes places in the years after the show ended. It does an amazing job at continuing the story. I miss most of the Disney Afternoon shows. They really need to revisit Gummi Bears and C&D.

Which shows should be as popular as MLP?

 

Name me another show that has the same cross-generational, multi-personality appeal, with lovable characters who are well defined and adapting, well-written storylines, positive messages, an engaging and well-crafted world, and attention to detail in its technical presentation, that can do so much to break the stereotypes of the medium.

 

If you have more shows like that, then you can have more fandoms.

Digimon. I mean, I know it has a bit of an internet presence, but it's really fizzled out since the 90's. Nowadays, it's only referred to as a negative thing to compare Pokemon against. If I'm honest, I think Digimon deserves a large fandom like this more than MLP. Its stories are more complex, its characters deeper, and it refreshes and updates its cast and overall world structure every season. Also, it isn't controlled by a toy corporation whose decisions and cautions often lead to vast limitations and messy plot points. Whilst it IS merchandise based and still controlled by a toy corporation, they are at least much more lenient on the story due to the fact that it's not just directed at little girls, but for a wider demographic.
