DON'T LISTEN TO HIM MUFFINS. YOU CAN LIKE WHAT YOU LIKE GOD DAMMIT DJENTY I HATE YOU SOMETIMES UGHHHHHHHHH

And on that note, Bring Me the Horizon is actually getting good.

The fact that they've gone from abysmal crap like "Pray for Plagues" to this is stunning.

But I DID mention Hellhammer  and I also put Venom and Celtic Frost. But, you're right I should've put Immortal and I forgot Skeletonwitch too.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but some good new music from STONE SOUR.

From their album House of Gold and Bones Part II to be release april 9th.

Lets hope its a killer album just like this track.

And we also have a new Music video from Bleed From Within. And I must say It's a banger.

Lebanese black metal. Dangerous music for dangerous people. Seriously, these guys have to remain completely anonymous, lest their gov't kill them for making 'satanic music' (although, their lyrics and imagery are quite heavy on Anti-Islamic sentiments).

Oh, sweet! It's good to see someone else has heard of Panzerchrist before. Those guys are awesome, and gigantic (as in, physically). Has the amazing Bo Summer(or Summers? I always forget) in it too! Dio and Gojira in the same list too. Nice.

Stone Sour, that's the band with Corey Taylor in it, right? Heh, that might have sounded really stupid, but I'm still posting this.

And thanks for posting 5 Star Grave earlier. I'm listening to more of Drugstore Hell right now, it's Modern MDM as phuk.

Had a crappy few days.  Figured some Blood Mortized would put me in a better place.

As far as I know, I'm the only one here who is a fan of these bands. *sad face*

Not entirely true.  Although I honestly don't care much for A7X, I do really enjoy Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy by Trivium, as well as a couple songs from Shogun.  Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis is probably my favorite song by the band.

Oh, all right, that's cool I guess lol.

I love both Ascendancy and Shogun. Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis is one of my favorite songs too. I'm actually planning on getting Ember to Inferno pretty soon.

Between The Buried And Me's self-titled is so different from Colors and the Parallaxs. I'd honestly doubt that they were the same band if I didn't know better. Literally nothing seems even remotely similar, except for maybe a riff or two. Also, did they change vocalists?

Otep's "Apex Predator" feels like it's either holding back or teasing.  I'm not sure which.  I kept waiting for her to get...violent.  That's what makes her amazing, and I was hungry for it.  The imagery, use of sample loops, ragged whispering and other things reminded me of Manson's style.

One of my favorites from her collection:

I shall share songs from the most underrated albums of all-time in Metal history, Load and ReLoad by Metallica. I never understood the hate these albums got. Sure, it was a distant change from their previous albums, but think about it in this sense, if an artist paints the same picture over and over, doesn't it become boring? I believe it does. Believe it or not, the change was done very well. It brought a new hard rock sound which hadn't been heard before from Thrash bands. The song writing is superb, with most dealing with James' personal life and struggles. And yes I'll say it, these are two of my favourite Metallica albums.

I just bought the album Mezmerize by System of a Down. This album has a lot of awesome catchy songs, I'm glad I bought it. The only song I had really listened to before was BYOB.

Really, only BYOB? Well Mezmerize is a pretty neat album. I always thought "Chop Suey" was like their 'most popular song ever'. Anyway, that's good, because I think Chop Suey's one of their worst anyway.

And I still haven't gotten enough of this Hypocrisy's Virus. Especially this one song. I went through four shit quality videos, this one's better.

I meant that BYOB was the only song I had really listened to from the Mezmerize album. I also have SOAD's Toxicity album. I like Chop Suey, but I don't think it's one of the best.

I totally agree on that. Whilst not my favourite, they are really, really good. I think the problem is that most people define Metallica by albums like MoP and the Black album, and they somewhat automatically reject different sounding songs. (though I personally HATE St. Anger for it's drums...)

Death Magnetic anyone? It's got kinda nu-metalish feeling for me, but I like it. I also like that it holds equal level through the whole album, every song is catchy and distinct from others. And Unforgiven III is a killer.

This album was a return to form so to speak of earlier works, I loved it and per usual, people still bitched and complained. Is there no pleasing fans?

On the subject of Metallica, I personally am not a fan of their music

It's just not the type of metal that I prefer

Their songs are okay, but not too high in my preferences

Sad But True was the first Metallica song I remember hearing

And at the time, since I was 8 or 9 years old, I thought that it was pretty good

And just like anyone else I thought that Enter Sandman was a good song as well

But now I've kind of grown out of it, I got bored of their songs and overall

I don't mind hearing their music, but I'm just not a fan of it

I'll respect them for creating some songs that are considered as classics

But that is all

So on map of metal, I found out about some band called Blood Stain Child, just like five minutes ago.

They're supposed to be like "trance metal" which is awesome, since trance is my favourite sub of EDM! I remember I really wanted to listen to some trance metal a year ago, but all google would give me would be links to threads recommending Enter Shikari. And I'm all like "dude post hardcore =/= metal or trance, gg". So this is more like modern MDM + trance, which meshes pretty well with me.

I fucking love Death Magnetic, I don't get how so many people say it sucks or it's boring, it's easily one of my favorite Metallica albums.

Sad But True is really boring in my opinion, and Enter Sandman is extremely overrated.

Have you listened to the album "And Justice For All"? That's a really great album. My personal favorite Metallica album.
