Thanks for the warm welcome back to the forums :) And Lamb Of God's pretty good, I like their new album Resolution. As The Palaces Burn is awesome too, because Devin Townsend.

 

Shit, I didn't even know that. That's pretty cool sounding. Hey - you hear the drum tracking for Epicloud yet? It's epic! And loud! ...that was a horrible joke...

Interesting. And do so, Ryan Van Poedey-boy is doing fantastically well, and the jokes they make in the video as well is hilarious too!

 

 

No, not metal, but its an acoustic version which is very well done. I'm excited for this!

LIKE A MUDDAFUGGIN CHAMPPPP BOIII!!! Anyway, this song reminds me a shit ton about Super Mario Galaxy, and the peaceful elements eventually lead up to one of the prime songs in Synchestra, Gaia.

Now it's time for some more Raronoopa contributions of Melodic Death Metal:

 

 

This band changed vocalists in this album, they replaced the original and added two vocalists. I'm still not sure which I like more, original or newer. They are both good though.

Then there's this song that has an all-around feel to it. It's like...well polished but none of the parts stand out above the rest but it just sounds so good as it is. Definitely my favorite song on the Contraband album.

My bad, that album for Scar Symmetry is actually the last album with their old vocalist. Sorry, I'm not well versed in these guys' history yet. Only learned of them a year ago. lol

Mm, never was much a fan of King Diamond's vocals but the guitar is awesome. Keep in mind I've only heard like three or four songs by them.

 

Then you need to listen to more.

 

Anyway, if you guys wanna hear a guilty pleasure of mine, this one fits the bill.

 

 

Its catchy as hell, and the vocalist is fantastic.

Vintersorg's new album, Orkan, is very good. It's a bit difficult to describe, but I guess it would be considered blackened folk. I'm posting this on my iPod, so I can't link to any videos, so go look it up!

For some reason whenever I think of good Skeletonwitch songs I always forget about this one. Not really sure why cuz it's got amazing riffs and a great solo.

I remember having very vivid ideas years ago about how the light that man wanted to shine across the universe has all but burned out. But truthfully, I suspect it's always been like this. Man just doesn't, and never will, have much light to shine to begin with. Yet still he builds his cities and empires, and ceaselessly seeks to gather more knowledge, perhaps in the delusion that he can make man's light burn a little brighter, desperate to find something of permanence, or perhaps something which might prove to him that mankind is a benefit to the Universe and to himself and that it is worth existing. But he will not.
