Anyone still play with LEGO?

Surprised no one mentioned about the mindstorms. I have the NXT 1.0 ... wow I loved that set!

my only gripe about it was the fact that it was a freaking power hog. 6 batteries!? I was hoping that the new EV3 would be slimmer and have a more integrated battery but NOOOOOO... It has absolutely NOTHING over the NXT.

Which is why I'm going to turn my Raspberry Pi into an NXT, better than NXT than the NXT ever would've been.

I'll be on the #! forums if you want me.

From time to time, not like I used to. Lego's are fun for all ages.

Update from that from my future self is that I have gotten back into legos. I don't like play with legos as much as I take pics and enjoy putting it together as such. One such thing happened as i found my vintage lego that I managed to lego together. That and I'm beginning to collect star wars legos.

I do more as a tool though for things such as figuring bridges for my HO scale trains and such.

If they would make an actual box of random ones again, I'd be making a small city/Sears tower with them, but even their current "random" box is...expensive for the amount you get I'll put it that way.

If by play with LEGOs, you mean build them, then hell yes. I still have old System sets from the 2000s, Harry Potter, Castle, Star Wars, etc. My last purchases were parts for Dumbledore's Office and the second Hogwarts.

I like Legos. I don’t usually go to the toy store to stock up, but I did receive a Star Wars Lego set a few years ago and it was really fun to make. They’re pretty fancy these days and I enjoyed putting it together.

I like to build things from LEGO sometimes, I have some sets ranging from the 80s to contemporary. One of my entries for last year's Newbie Artist Training Grounds at Equestria Daily was a LEGO Apple Bloom.
