Your favorite old/classic cars

1964 Chevy Impala, this car in particular holds a lot of memories for me. My Dad once had this car and every Saturday my brother and I would spend time with him during the day and we would ride around in his Chevy.

1977, black with red decals I think.

Cool :D my dad actually owns a 1985 red (body) and white( side trim) camaro. he had it since the car came out. it looks like this but he changed the front grill to the 1986 version where it says "camaro"

There's a lot of classic cars that I dig, and a comprehensive list would be too tiring to create and too long to read, so I'll just list the first few that come to mind.

1960 Lincoln Continental Breezeway Sedan
1974 Chrysler CL Valiant Charger (Aussie car)
1974 Chrysler Drifter (panel van version of the above)
Pretty much the entire 1957 Chrysler lineup
1962 Prince (Nissan) Skyline Sport Hardtop
1983-89 Mitsubishi Starion/Chrysler Conquest

1983-87 Toyota Corolla Sprinter Trueno (AE86)

1954 Mercury Monterey sedan
1960-61 Chevy Trucks

1967 Dodge Charger
1971 Plymouth Roadrunner
1960 Dodge Dart
VW Type 2 Transporter (The VW bus)
1984-88 Chevy Nova
1970-77 Ford Maverick
1955-57 Pontiac Chieftain

  • 2 weeks later...

I love the old school japanese hot rods, Nissan Z cars, The MK II & III Supras and 86 Corolla and the absolute favorite the 2nd Generation RX7. Three decades old still looks awesome, Still handing it to V8 cars, all while humming a nice note and belching fire balls of sweet turbo rotary coolness. They drive like it's on rails you can take corners with the pedal to the floor. Reliable as an AK47 if you take the time to keep it tune.

Ford Capri 1969-1986: they just look so cool, and there all rear wheel drive and have go faster styling even the 1.6 laser which were cheap to insure.

My all time favourites are the Plymouth Roadrunner 1969 and 1970, but I'll show you something else, my favorite mustangs! :)

I'd have to have one of these:

KPGC10-048_1Sfe_0.jpg

The KPGC10 Skyline GT-R, AKA "Hakosuka". I've always been a huge fan of the Skyline GT-R (and still on even though it's just called GT-R).

which charger are you talking about? the brand new one or the 2010 model?

Camaro's are awesome.

sadly, they dont make them like they did. i hate how they always use LED trimming in headlights like in new cars (Audi, Porsche, etc). its overused.

Tough decision, tough decision. There are quite a few I wouldn't mind having:

Ford Torino (1968-1972)

Ford Mustang (1969-1970)

Ford Fairlane (1966-1967)

Mercury Cougar (1967-1970)

Mercury Cyclone (1970-1971)

Lincoln Continental (1962-1964)

General Motors:

GM A-Body (Chevrolet Chevelle, El Camino; Pontiac Le Mans, Tempest, GTO; Buick GS, GSX; Oldsmobile Cutlass, F-85, 442) (1964-1972)

GM G-Body (Chevrolet Monte Carlo; Pontiac Grand Prix; Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme; Buick GN, GNX, Regal) (1970-1972, 1978-1987)

GM X-Body (Chevrolet Nova) (1968-1972)

Chevrolet Tri-Five (Bel Air, Nomad...) (1955-1957)

Chevrolet Full Size (Impala, Biscayne, Del Ray...) (1958-1964)

Buick Riviera (1963-1965, 1970-1973)

GMC Jimmy/Chevrolet Blazer (1969-1972)

Cadillac Eldorado (1953-1966)

Chrysler:

A-Body (Dodge Dart, Dart Swinger, Demon; Plymouth Valiant, Barracuda, Duster, Scamp) (1967-1972)

B-Body (Dodge Charger, Coronet, Super Bee, Charger Daytona; Plymouth Belvedere, Satellite, GTX, Road Runner, Superbird) (1965-1975)
E-Body (Dodge Challenger, Plymouth Barracuda) (1970-1971)

American Motors Corp.:

AMC Javelin/AMX (1968-1974)

AMC Hornet (1970-1972)

AMC Rebel (1967-1970)

Yeah, it's quite a bit. My winter project is actually on this list. I have a 1971 AMC Javelin SST that is a work in progress. Hope to have it done by the spring.

oh. the chargers from 2006- 2010 look bad.

The aren't terrible, just 4 doors don't go well with muscle cars. The Challenger though...

Well, I know it's not a classic (it's a 2014, actually), but I do get to drive one of these every day. I can't get enough of it.

Only thing that sucks about it is putting gas in it. Fun comes at a price.

Steam Engines don't count.... :(

oh WAIT!!! They do (insert maniacal laugh)

stanley-steamer-03.jpg

The Stanley Steamer...really any Steam car...they are super quiet, super fast for their time (can go 70+mph)....If a bit more modernized in the technology used to harness the steam power, I believe steam vehicles today would be the fastest cars around (minus those jet propelled ones and other strange power usages that are not and have not been used for commercial vehicles)
