I skip past the songs on MLP, anybody else do the same?

No, and I cant see why anyone would. You're skipping a part if the episode that probably takes more effort than writting a regular script, and whether you like it or not shouldn't really be a factor.

The only song I've ever skipped was Spike singing the Cloudsdale anthem. And that was because I was cringing.

I feel like the songs are really important to the episodes they are in, so I wouldn't want to skip them. It helps that I like all the songs, though.

I don't like a lot of them, but they can be important to plot development in certain episodes, so I recommend that you don't if you want to get the full understanding.

Haven't watched the show since Season 2, though, dunno if they've gotten any worse. XD

I do not normally skip most of the songs in the episode (as often they contain large elements of the plot). But I do skip the theme everytime I watch an episode. Like every time. I do not enjoy the theme at all, nor does it really add anything (besides a background character cameos).

Yep, when I do decide to  watch the show, I past right past all of the songs.

Not to offend anyone but the only really "girly" thing I cant stand about MLP in general is the music. The intro theme song sucks big time as well.

But once I get past the music and the actual substance of the show, all is good.

But then again it just my personal opinion lol.

They've gotten better in my opinion, the worst songs are in the season 1.

I never skip the songs. Except the intro but I do that in every TV series I watch. (Well, except Poirot because I fell in love with that intro theme  )

I don't skip any part of an episode even if I don't like it. The thing is if I don't like a song, I just don't pay attention to it and wait until it's over.

No I don't skip the songs. Some are very important to the plot or they are just fun to listen to. I skip the theme though but I'm sure almost everyone does. Maybe your just not at the level other bronies are with the show.

I don't skip them, but I won't really pay attention to them and will wait them out. Not that they're bad or annoying, I just don't really like those kind of show tunes in general.

The only song I skip is the title song.  I have seen that animation/heard that song enough times to not watch it over and over again.

I sometimes look up the songs to listen to them specifically, outside of the actual episode.
So no, I don't skip them. There's some really, really good ones, like "Winter Wrap Up", "Art of the Dress", and "What My Cutie Mark Is Telling Me" (these are three of my favourites), and I couldn't imagine watching the episodes skipping these songs.

I only skip songs if it is something like the theme song, which pushes the girly levels to points that it makes me ill (no that is not an indirect attack against girly things; I just have a limit on HOW girly it can be before I lose interest) or something like Spike singing the Cloudsdale theme or the CMC's first song... Or to make it more clear, songs that are intentionally bad for comedy, as they really aren't funny to me & more just hurt my ears

Thank you Pinkamena-Pills for resizing the original, and putting that little message at the end

Nope, I usually watch all episodes all the way through without skipping anything, besides, I actually like most of the songs!
