How old is not young anymore?

I agree with you, Art. I'm the same way*. I was not doing so well roughly 10-15 years ago. I abused alcohol and partied every night almost, etc. Some might not think that's a big deal - yeah but it sure adds up, doesn't it? If it wasn't for finding inner peace, people that cared for me, and enlightenment - my life surely would've been different. "Wisdom comes with experience." You bet it does. After all, we're the sum total of choices we have made. To erase the bad ones, you have to make new ones that count.

Well, so many others posted long, detailed posts that there really isn't much that I can add. I mean, I'm 28, though sometimes I feel like I'm going on either 17 or 57.

 

I say that because it illustrates the point that you are only as old as you allow yourself to feel. On some days, I feel old when I know I'm not, and I'm doing better at dealing with those days. XD

 

On most days though, I feel young at heart still, and I would prefer to remain like that. I hold a job, pay the car payment, contribute to insurance, pay my own life insurance, pay the water bill, etc., though I still live with my parents.

 

In the end, you only feel old if you mentally accept it. Granted yeah, there will be physical challenges, but some have been able to beat them.

I agree that it's all relative... if I was in my 20s and hanging around teenages, I'd feel older than when I was around people older than me. I'm only 17 though.

Well, I'm 30 now, and while I certainly don't feel too happy about that, I am more active than I used to be, and certainly more active then my peers!

 

I'm also still very much into childish things, like creepypastas, let's plays, and MLP, so I really don't know if I should feel old or not!

I think it all depends on how you feel towards yourself about that. I think when you become old is when you no longer have the capabilities as what you could do when you were younger.

Depends on what you define old and young as are they a condition or a state or something else personally I think that age itself is somewhat irrelevant as the more important factor is how you are able to see and approach different things. 

So I don't really believe either either young or old as a concepts im more inclined to view human progression through gathering information and experience through life in general. And importantly how you are able to utilize that information or those experiences as you are moving forward.
