The demon hunting part is just part of the situation to give her a reason to come to this world and group. (she is not a demon hunter) Since I don't want to detrack the main group, she will go on her own for the most part until the story shifts to focus on it. Since the group is a lot bigger now, it gives me some fun to make a foe stronger than a primal spider.

 

I wrote the backstory to this character a long time ago and now is reconstituting it. I hope that in this rp, I get to experiment the personality and practice how she will react. She is a lot stronger than Syo and wields nature magic. (hence the resistance to chaos and illness)

Don't worry, you will just be hit in the face with a scythe and told to get lost. At least that's the response I suspect from Dyr. She is an "I'm working alone" type of person it seems. :-)

By the way, who is the one who needed medical/chaos poisoning help already?

Sole wouldn't be deterred by threats or violence though. In fact, it'd probably just encourage him. I think it might be best if I just edited my posts, or have something else come up to distract him for a while.

I think from a story viewpoint, It's rather normal that Sole followed Dyr. I like to think of us like guides, continuous, the angel and the demon on the shoulder of our OC who is in the story. We have a certain influence over our characters, but it's interesting sometimes to stop and think. What would my OC normally do if he didn't possess the information I have? So for me, Sole's reaction in the rp, without the info that were in the OOC thread is normal and I approve it. He can always fly back to the group if it is a major problem for Melke's story plan.

 

Sometimes, when I have a decision to make in an rp, and Missklang normal reaction diverge with my own, I roll a set of dice to see which to pick.

Not entirely certain, but I have a few back-up plans in case I end up having Sanctus split ways with him soon that can take place in Ponyville itself. I have a few late nighters to make use off.

I might have misunderstood the doors, I won't rule it out. I don't know much about the dream realm beyond what I saw you write, and when you mentioned another dimension I figured that perhaps the demonic influence in that sub-stage (missed the part of it being technically another floor) would make for doors to appear that had their resting owners dark influence beckon out to try and lure others in at varying degrees, or wanted wards/chains off them that stopped them from breaking into the dream realm to cause havoc.

 

What you can expect also varies. Demonic in nature is behind them all, but it ranges from the demonic influenced ones such as Vivid who haven't lost herself to that side, to the ones that have started a free fall or given over, then to the actual, low rung demons, and then to full fledged ones that are trapped  both in reality and in dreams. Those last ones are represented by the whispering doors with eyes I mentioned.

 

They would need to be locked down as they started to descend more or show darker sides, but if you want an interaction we could say that there was one who had not been watched well enough that had spun quickly downwards/demon that had found itself going dark, and had broken out. Or they could go to one of the dreams because she would need something for a good vessel for Charlie, and the fastest way to get it would be from an old... Acquaintance of hers.

 

Other ideas will work fine too, this is just off the top of my head. Lot's of fun to be had in all of this.

 

Also, sorry for not responding yet. Was a long day yesterday and I just needed a break in things today. I should get something written soon hopefully.

My original plan is that Dyr is following the tracks of the demon only to circle back and find that it has taken residence at the Castle of the two sisters.

 

As for the demon, I was thinking that I have Syo explain some contextual information about how my creature's work and then Dyr can fill in what is the demon.

There was something that could have been a problem, but due to dream logic, there is never a problem that can't be solved in the Realm of Dreams. I might be having too much fun making what would typically be perceived as a writer's error into plot devices. You can do anything in a dream.

By the way, this new power is limited to small amounts of information. A small piece of the conversation is about all he could manage.

Luna knows that Serenade is a Siren, and she knows of Serenade's fears about being discovered as a Siren and banished. The list of ponies who are is very short, and Luna is on the top of that list.

Missklang won't be able to get through this portal without a piece of Everwood. This portal was created by Luna and only reacts to Everwood magic. It works very differently because it leads to the Realm of Dreams. He can either find an Everwood stick or go to the castle on his own, unless somepony goes back through to get him. If you have him try the portal without any Everwood, he will just go through the archway. Let me know if you want me to send Seamore back to get him.

And yes, I know they were in the middle of a conversation, but somepony else spoke, breaking his concentration on that conversation. 'Tis the nature of ADD.

Ok, the Everfree might have more portals and I just confused it with some other. But knowing Missklang, he surely has some strange shaped Everwood twigs in hs bag that he picked up for fun or for research...
