"..hehe... See didn't lift a hoof.... I wonder why you're not going to?... I'm guessing I'm not worth it to get in trouble in this dimension."

Light said calmly to Cali.

Even though Light said all those things. He hasn't dropped his guard towards Cali.

Even though Light knows there's rules in this Dimension that everyone can't break....there's a high chance that Cali will break that rule.

Ruby didn't do or say much, she exhaled a bit at Marley's comment, having expected him to say something, but that was pretty much it, she was well aware of the certain chemistry between him and herself, but she didn't necessarily mind it, it was refreshing.

She didn't think much about Marley's ability to pull the wagon, as she had never really questioned it, she knew that putting wheels under things made them easier to move, and she kinda just assumed that most creatures were stronger than ponies, it may be she was wrong, but due to the difference between her real form and her pony form, her view of pony-strength was bit skewed, leading her to overestimate other creatures.  The wagon being magically made lighter wasn't something she considered, but it was one of those things that if she would be told it was, she'd wonder how she didn't realize it considering how obvious of an idea it was.

Ruby noticed the stallion and could tell he was coming towards them, but she wasn't worried, as she could smell the substance abuse from mile away, and thus knew that he would be easily dealt with, though it obviously never came to that since a guard got involved before that.

She took enjoyment out of the guards' displeasure as she watched them check the pile of hides, and since she had nothing else to do, she focused her senses on the wagon to check if there was something else in there she could sense but may go unnoticed by the guards, she wasn't planning to help anyone of course, but she was curious, there had to be a reason why they had chosen a side entrance, and she doubted it was due to care for the feelings of ponies, griffons weren't exactly known for that.

Charir meanwhile just followed the others and looked around, he turned up his nose a bit from the bad smelling stallion, but other than that he seemed to be fine. When they stopped to wait to get through the gate, he got on the roof of the wagon Marley was pulling and started looking around, his glance ultimately sticking to the stack of hides and the creature pulling it, and as was the norm, he tilted his head.

----------------------------------------------------------------
Scarecrow didn't fully agree with what had been said, but he didn't really have time to say anything about it, not that he necessarily would have even if he had time, since he realized it was a question of perspective, he only saw those ponies who didn't make it safely in and out, while these ponies most likely only knew of those who did, since those who he helped tended to be so shook up that they most likely didn't share their experiences with many, and those he couldn't help quick enough....well, they wouldn't be telling much anything to anyone anymore.

"It was nice to meet you too." was really the only thing he said during the whole thing, as there wasn't really much for him to comment on, and if he was offered a hoof, he would shake it too, he had seen it done many times and knew the gist of it, though he was careful to not be too rough.

He spoke to Lyriel when he believed the ponies wouldn't hear him "What I would give to feel such joy as a foal with a bunny." "It's weird, knowing that you should feel happy for something but not feeling it, though I guess the positive is that my mind is still capable recognizing it."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sheska smiled as she listened the short story, she may have been battle-hardened and such but she still enjoyed a good love story, and while there was many reasons for it, she couldn't deny part of it was due to her own desire to have a happy relationship of her own, something that she unfortunately had long ago accepted as something beyond her reach, a dream that would never come true. Trox's expression was more neutral, it was clear he was listening too, but for him it was more out of curiosity, he was of course happy for them, but he wasn't really one for the whole relationship thing, the only company he needed was a box of scrap and some tools.

They didn't really have time to say anything before Pop went into the back room, but they did comment on Onache's comment "You don't like it, I can tell." one didn't need to read minds to figure some things out "I guess not everything is better here, I don't remember there being any stigma back home."

They would try the candies one at a time, and they would keep all of them in their mouths for a moment before swallowing them, and they would describe shortly their opinions on them, the options being, good, aright, and 'not for me'. In general, the types of candies they liked were the ones that melted and or released their taste when they were kept in one's mouth, for example, hard candies and chocolate based ones, while candies like gummies that would need to be chewed to get the whole experience were on the other end. In between were those that were soft enough to be crushed with one's tongue and those covered in powder or something else that 'melted' in mouth.

There was differences between the two siblings though, Trox liked more the ones with strong and or weird tastes that may in general be the more unpopular ones like for example salty licorice (aka salmiac) and preferred hard candy over chocolate, while Sheska was the opposite, preferring the sweet tasting things and chocolate. Things that tasted like fruits, berries, meat, blood or other such 'normal' things were liked by both, though they would state that they found them bit pointless as candy for them since they believed candy should be something that you would only get as a candy.

Dawn would faint if she were dramatic enough, or at least in a more suitable setting for such a thing.  Ten years?  TEN YEARS!?  With the same outfit.  The younger mare couldn't even think off the top of her head any outfit she owned that was more then two years old.  Even then it were only wore while in season or was aligned with the current fashion trend.  Usually only getting to finally remove it from her wardrobe when a purge of an over full closet was in order.  Dawn cleared her throat,  "How, sturdy it is.  But perhaps to mark the occasion a new dress is in order," the mare tried to remain tactful.  In honesty, fashion and cloths wearing in Equestria was more a hobby than anything else.  Commonly little was wore minus an accessory or two on occasion.  It was hardly a requirement and generally saved for more special occasions, but enough were more interested in it for a strong market to exist.  Seeing as how Lily even wore a dress at all lead Dawn to instantly thing it'd be a hobby the witch was into.  Not so inclined to think in Harrowmark they may have different meanings and preferences.

"You'll enjoy yourself," she expressed while taking the last bite to finish off her stack.  "Do allow me to pamper you a little before I drain you of the information of Harrowmark I seek," a chuckled escaped her lips. Taking up a napkin from the counter to dab at her lips and the corner of her mouth to clean it of crumps or syrup.  Taking up her purse to fish for the Bits needed to pay for their meal before the bauble in question was floated into her view.  Dawn herself was less interested in the happenings of traveling band.  Except for the timing of their arrival and the strides that'll occur to start contact with Equestria's Princesses to begin.  Thistle's growing power at her return was starting to make her appear more Princess like than what Dawn envisioned their Queen may be.  Moths were a common theme from what Dawn had seen thus far, even if she didn't truly understand their relevance yet.  Removing a stack of the gold coins from her purse, she laid them on the counter.  Plenty for the meal and a tip many could consider very generous.

Slipping off her stool to plant her hooves on tiled floors, she ignited her horn with its rainbow aura.  "Less mind crushing transportation then?" the younger mare teased.  It'd be ages since she'd last used the more common teleportation spell.  Also less use to waiting on others, she wouldn't wait long for a reply and would be most prepared to whisk the pair away in a flash of rainbow light out of the homey diner should Lily free herself from her own seat.

“Uh… yeah. Eating glass did save those ponies, but it left them with a strange impression of you. I’m not gonna lie, but I think I am starting to understand that image. It’s not everyday anyone gets to be saved by having glass eaten away.”

Imagining someone eating glass and actually seeing glass being eaten are two different things, but Sen wasn’t certain if imaginary imagery could get him to feel calmer. It was a strange thing, even as a thought, but seeing it would get him feeling uneasy in his stomach. Sharp objects that could easily cut through soft skin or leathery hides still gets him squeamish; odd considering how the longma wouldn’t have issues making small cuts into his own hide. Must be the rapid healing making him downplay the thought.

It was then that they would be next in line to take part in the game, and Sen was eager to play. Once he has taken his place, he’d try to get a feel for the water pistol. Even with the bow and crossbow from earlier, this small item shoots water in a concentrated stream. A good aim may not be the only thing he needs to win, but it would be difficult to say what it is until he started.

“Best thestral? I see you’re already assured in victory, Rosa. As I said, I’m going to work for this win!”

The longma would return the thestral’s gesture with his own smirk and a determined look on his face. Lin was just having fun listening to the two’s banter while waiting for the game to start. Once it did, Sen was feeling eager to win, pressing down and hard on the water pistol’s button, squirting water in short streams before keeping a continuous flow going. A little bit of observation prior to their game was already paying off. He could get a little bit of water to his target, but it would splash out again. It was here that he’d adjust his aim and the power of his stream, something that he’d get, albeit inconsistently, as he feels like he is lagging behind.

Meanwhile, Lin was going in full power and only getting sporadic jets of water to fill her balloon before stopping and trying again. She wasn’t too upset she wasn’t getting it, but she was hoping to bag a second win for the night. At the rate she was going, it didn’t seem likely, but the game was just starting. Perhaps a comeback is in order.

Flint quickly snaps at Pop Rock upon hearing her the last part of her statement “No! I mean no” she glanced around them before gazing back at the diamond dog, “Don't ask her, that's not unnecessary. This is our quest not hers and have you seen her punish other goons like us?” she face her back st Pop, looking very conflicted, “We just have to lure them out, one-by-one starting with the Wonderbolt. She's much capable of defending herself than the other target. We should take her out first, but we need a way to lure her out to us”

“Hey, hey, nopony is going to start up a fight today!” Luna quickly went between Light and Cali. She has heard of Cali's tale about her enemies and how even today they chase her whether she go. It was a horrible nightmare to be chased forever but what she didn't want to happen is start up a fight just because of a smug comment, “We should not fight each other” she turned to Light, “Light, I want you to control your mouth. Don't get too cocky just because you heard too much of her”, she then turned to Cali, “Cali, hear me out. I love seeing you transform just like how you transform into that flying machine, I already admire you but please hold you temper and try to be a bit more tolerant”

"I don't believe you understand something, Molotov." she stepped forward, her anger subsiding a little bit. "I've been across dimensions and so many worlds. But yet my enemies still tracked me down all the same. One time, they were going to rip my throat out from my neck, and I still have visions of that happening. I will take any measure to stop that from happening ever again. While I may have killed my enemies, I feel the need to explain them to you." she stopped and seemed to awkwardly glance to the others.

For a brief second, Molotov felt fairly certain that he were about to be struck down by the supposed human form Cali. Just something in her eye that warned him off that, though thankfully, she seemed to change her mind as she started talking, and he listened in as best he could considering the hammering on his noggin before.

He had a good deal of questions about this as she went on, but he didn't want to risk something by  interrupting her to say stuff such as the fact that her degree of enemy, were probably the most dangerous he had ever heard of, period. And he were including the varied small tales here and there of extradimensional beings trying to break through, like earlier on. At least those generally hadn't gone far enough to really destroy something, though this one Cali were taking about, sounded like it were way above that. On a multidimensional scale. That was just crazy.

After she were done, he would've loved to respond really, as well as ask her if she liked what she felt, as she ran her fingers over his surprisingly soft mane. Scruffy looking for sure, but he made sure to take care of it regardless, and it could be felt. He would have also liked to say something about the lot of them about to get into a fight, but sadly, as none of them had helped him against the debris going down, he'd get hit with a few more things - with Carmen skittering away to avoid getting hit - that would have him wince, and then finally, another bolt hit him right on the same place on his head as the last, and caused him to fall collapse pass out, near the end of what Cali were saying.

Which also meant that the larger pieces above them, were now hitting the pile again, and tumbling down towards them.

"Noooo! He's gonna get smashed!"

Blitz would start to rush into the barrier around her even more violently, and try to use her magic too to get through, but would be able to do much, more than likely, other than try desperately, and fruitlessly, to make her way towards her brother before he got crushed flat like a pancake, by the largest chunk rolling down towards him. Along with some of the others too, for that matter, as the debris might not be plentiful per say, but these were large chunks of metal. It were heavy.

Blitz were too frazzled and focused on this part to really care about even pretending to listening in to the chats around her, or how Light and Cali were taunting each other, so the conversations currently ran her by completely.

@EQ_Theta

Omen wasn't sure how to respond to what had been said to her. She still wasn't sure how to understand what others thought of her, and her weird dietary needs were not something that she really thought about much. She understood that it wasn't like what others did, but she were not thinking on how it might look to others. Hay, she didn't even technically need to eat. She just did so more out of a want, as she were curious, and tasting things were one way to learn about them.

She had been spending around nine centuries in Mother's realm just waiting for a sign from Discord, before Mother had told her that she needed to go out and find a life of her own. And in that time, she had not gotten as much as a speck of dust to eat. Yet, she were still perfectly fine, and would have remained so too, had she stayed there. But there were a great many deal of tastes in this world, and she found it intriguing to go through them, a little by little. With her currently having the extremely spicy sauce as her favorite.

She'd need more time to ponder this on a quiet night sometimes, but for now, the game were imminent, and it seemed it were time to commence with the trial. One that Rosa for one, would embrace further with giving a little talking back to Sen.

"If you don't have confidence in yourself, you are bound to lose."

Short, but to the point, and soon thereafter, the game would commence. With Sen and Lin doing surprisingly well right off the bat. Rosa himself would have started blasting full on, then begin to experiment with varied angles and pressure, but it would take time for him to adapt properly. Longer than Sen currently were, which should give the longma an advantage.

And Omen? Well, she had cautiously pushed the button, and gotten more of a weak bow, getting nowhere near the clown head. Shrimp then - whom had been looking at the other guns firing off, and rapidly shifting his position between looking at them - would let out a happy chirp, and slide down Omen's head, over her leg, and towards the fruit water gun. Once there, he'd wrap himself as securely to it as he could, and start treating the weak stream as a drinking fountain. Just lapping up water, as the thirsty refraction happily took in much needed liquid.

A sight which greatly amused the mare running this, whom were having a hard time keeping in the laughter, even with two hooves in front of her muzzle. There was just something adorable and funny about seeing one of the contestants not even being in the game, as her pet were drinking from the water.

It amused Rosa too, who got his aim messed up for a few seconds, as he were chuckling slightly at the sight.

Fishbone would give Magnolia a wink before raising herself up to the ceiling again, and continuing going about her evening as she always did. She were sure the two of them would have fun out in town, and she had covered the important parts now, so she'd let them be. Just that last, final tease more before letting them go away. She would be sorry about it, but... What could she say? It was in her nature. As were it in Magnolia's it seemed, considering the tail wave. And really, Fishbone couldn't resist giving her a solid thumbs up for that, before getting fully up into the shadows again. Had to respect someone who knew how to play along.

She'd survey the streets and observe the layout of the town. She pointed off to some sort of city center or plaza, likely the center of the city. "Why don't we check that out? And what you say is true, true enough..." she smirked slyly but still liked the idea of an eternal night.

"Seems as good a direction as any, right? Let's see what it holds."

Truth be told, there weren't many directions, as they were at the harbor. There were only really one way, though technically a few streets to pick from, to go fro this edge of the town, and towards the center. With the one they picked seemed to be primarily fishing equipment stores that were about to close, though there were also one that were seemingly still thriving and open. A tourist trap, filled with trinkets, knickknacks and the sort, combined with a coffee shop. A good way to lure in folks it seemed, as there still appeared to be busy in the modest sized store, serving varied beverages to folks, between them looking at the various little things, that seemed to be mostly of metal and bone. Some shiny stones too.

"That seems nice. Something to wake up on, and maybe it have something like the trinket you had in mind? Can't hurt to look, right?"

"I suppose it could not hurt, though I must insist on it keeping a hood, or a hat of some kind. I am not a great fan of having the sun in my eyes. Perhaps a pocket of some kind for this orb too, in case a time comes where I have a need to leave it out of my sight."

She would e reasonable, and listen to what the mare would have to say on this, but Lily were a stubborn old mare, to an extend. Trying to put her in a fancy dinner dress, would make her go with a strict no, as it wouldn't survive twenty minutes in the swamp, and she would abhor the lack of mobility. If she were to be given a new dress, or other clothing, it would have to be sturdy, and not restrict her movements. She were not some high strung noble after all, but an actual wilderness witch. Focus there being on the wilderness part. She'd need clothes that matches that kind of environment.

She'd keep eating after that, soaking in what she heard around her, and observe Dawn some more. She seemed to have gotten somewhat intrigued by the idea of changing the outfit of the Harrowish witch, though she may simply be guessing that. Dawn had a way of seemingly being good at hiding what she were thinking, and not have her body language match, lest she wanted one to think so. As if all she did, were with some kind of plan in mind, which fit well what Lily had learned of her this far. A rather tricky mare this one, which were troubling, though at least thus far, she seemingly had no interest in extracting information via torture. That restriction were always appreciated.

"As long as it does not mean you will drain it straight from my brain, I will be looking towards that exchange with interest. Mind leeching is a delicate thing, and it is sadly much too easy for it to go wrong."

At least in her experience, with having to watch Twisted's experiments. Which in some cases, he deliberately messed up , to see what would happen, if that sort of thing occurred. Or out of simple curiosity, and moral bankruptcy. Always thirsty for knowledge that one. A shame it were for the worst, horrible kind of it. In another time, where his heart were kinder, he could perhaps have become a scholar of great renown, rather than a scourge that would not soon be forgotten.

She'd finish up the last few bites of her pancakes herself, then would but down the utensilies, and dry the sides of her muzzle. As stated earlier, she were not a savage. Though she were now full, which were an oddly unfamiliar situation. Pleasant though. She should try this again some other time.

Lily would briefly look at the bits, and count them as they stood there by eye, just to get an idea of what a meal like this cost, before stretching her legs, and nodding calmly to her hostess.

"If possible, please. And thank you for the meal. It were pleasantly fulfilling."

She'd bow her head to Dawn, after saying that. Perhaps it were a bit too much for some, but Lily were a mare with some standards, and being given a meal like this, should entail her giving at least this degree of respect towards the one offering. It were the least that she could do in return. Now it were just to wait and see where Dawn would take them next. A tailor she suspected, but it were hard to know with this mare. May well be they would skip a few steps, and go right to information sharing.

@Catpone Cerberus

The two griffons looked well bored as they had their cargo checked out, and both of them - a male and female - would start to let their eyes wander. Falling eventually on the dragon, who seemed to be looking over the mountain of hides they had going going. Made the female one of them sent him a little grin on top of the stack.

"Like what you see? All in a day's work this is. Meat sold off, and the hides just waiting for the right buyer."

"And then go figure, the entire mountain pass track have collapsed, so we have to either go through the cursed forest, or deal with these weak-stomached tin cans."

"You know that we can hear you, right?"

"Try and deny it. Squeamish and openly looking grossed out. Make me wonder what would happen if you sort ever saw an actual dead body."

"High pitched girly scream I would imagine."

The three griffons laughed at that little snarky comment from Marley, while the guards just went on with their task. They were not overly happy about this, and it did not help to be mocked by these creatures.

"So, the short one seemems like he knows the spoils of a good hunt, and Preener over there have a good sense of humor. What're the rest of you like?"

"Relatively impressed. Some of your hides have been cut unevenly though. It seems sloppy, compared to the bottom."

"Ah, someone who knows their hide collecting, eh? Yeah, trust me, we're none too happy about it either. Skinning knife broke, so we had to improvise. Gonna need to pretty these up later on."

"Had to leave a bit of extra on to give some room, but eh, no biggie. Soon as we get to the market up north, we're gonna be set for a while.

You folks seem alright. Your pony ain't even looking squeamish. I can respect that. You folks know your way around a good hunt?"

She'd lay down on the stack of hides, as if it were a bed, and look down on them with a curious look in her eyes. Especially on Ruby, whom both her, and the male griffon, were watching to see if she were just playing, and were one of those who couldn't handle a little hunting aftermath. Wasn't like they had brought in the meat with them here, right? It was just hides. Ponies could get so finicky about this sorta thing.

The elderly mare had offered him a hoof, whereas the others had just waved, with big, happy smiles on their faces. Bunny Rancher though, came over and hugged Lyriel, happy as could be about the new friend she had made in Locust. A special name for a cute little fluffball, but it were the one he had given, so she had passed it along. It were not her place to judge a creature for wanting a somewhat grandiose name for itself, and none of the ponies had seemed to mind, so it were not an issue for her.

Rancher had soon soon let go of her again though, and scampered over to her family. A somewhat shy filly it seemed. Hopefully having a friend now, would help her to open up and enjoy life a little more.

"It is hard to match the joy of youth, though it saddens me some to know that you cannot feel even the pleasant emotions that comes from seeing that. As you said, it is good that you can still recognize it at least though. It gives me hope that perhaps somewhere within you, there is still the capability to feel things such as this, yet simply dormant."

She knew it might well just be memory of it, but were she not allowed to try and think positively? Quite frankly, she did not know how she would live, if she could not.

"Be that as it may, I think that went well. A simple time spent, yet I at least, consider it fairly successful. What thoughts have you of it?"

"I am a changeling queen. Our view on relationships, are focused solely on being able to procreate, and make a better, stronger hive. It is my duty to pick the best of the brood, and strengthen the hive.

To me, what these two are doing, does not comply with that view. They cannot procreate, and as such, it does not fit the world of my kin. Yet I can tell that it is genuine, and while I may not think it normal, it is not my place to question that, nor interfere. It is their life. What they do with it, is none of my concern, and I will keep my opinion on it to myself, rather than spout it at them."

This were perhaps her most generous side, all things considered. Were there beings that she had some usage from meddling with? Certainly, and she had done so without remorse, many a time in her life. Yet that being said, she did believe that true love were not something to trifle with, even when it went across barriers, and far away from the norm, such as this were. So while it may not be how she would think things should be, she accepted that it simply were none of her business. Let them live their life the way they wished, and not interfere, lest it started to directly impact her life in some big, meaningful way.

Things that tasted like fruits, berries, meat, blood or other such 'normal' things were liked by both, though they would state that they found them bit pointless as candy for them since they believed candy should be something that you would only get as a candy.

As they taste tested, Pop would scribble down some notes on what she were seeing, and picking some things away, or pushing some further along, as she were thinking she were gauging things better. It seemed these liked her experimental, not often sold predator candies, even if it weren't a massive preference, and they'd prefer other things, yet started to vary in what things they liked after that. Soft sweets that did not require a lot of chewing for Sheska, and Trox being more towards the modern tastes, such as salmiac and hard candy. Clearly a hard sweets guy for sure, and one whom she had just the thing in mind for. The same with Sheska, and she'd soon wander off to pick up a few more things to present, on each side of the tray.

Towards Sheska, would be first a ball of chocolate, that seemed to almost shine in the light. It were striped yellow and brown, and about the size of a semi-large lollipop head. The other would be a box, in which were a couple of chunky, orange-pink, marshmallow looking things.

Trox on the other hoof, would find first something that looked like a dark, glistening ball with dulled spikes. Sort of like a massage ball. Judging by the sheen, this one were certainly a hard candy of some sort, though the second were not. This being a vial with some sort of crystal-looking, multicolored twenty-side-dice looking things within.

"These should be interesting then. You first, we have a Honey Yum. It's light chocolate and honey, with a rich caramel that will get more prominent the more it melts on your tongue. The second here is a Fizzy String. it have a tropical, bubble-gum sort of flavor, and while it looks like something that you chew, it actually starts to dissolve when it gets into contact with saliva, and just spread the taste all over your mouth. Lovely and melting in your mouth, and all ready to be enjoyed and swallowed down, like a special little drink from a moist container.

And for you, there's a Licorice Bomb. It's not something you're supposed to chew down on, but roll around and such the juices out of, like regular hard candy, and get a nice massage to your tongue and upper jaw at the same time. It might start out a little tame in it, but trust me, once the shell cracks, you'll be getting a rush of on point, salty licorice. The other one is a pretty new one. I call it Natural Twenties. A little soft on the outside, but that's just a little jelly to shield up the inner core, that have seventeen different tastes of mostly strong fragrance flavors, like salt caramel, pure sugar, white chocolate, and three kinds of licorice. Every time you take a suck, it goes to the next layer of taste. It's a pretty fun little experimental one, but you might like it. Give it a try, and let me know.

And can I ask, how is the emotion candy?"

She'd direct her attention towards Onache, who'd still be slowly chewing through this essentially toffee.

"Surprisingly good. The emotional jelly is prominent, but with a complimentary taste. Fascinating litte thing."

Pop would almost take a step back, as it seemed like her suggestion about including Needle were not seen well upon, but it seemed that the sudden change in Flint were not what she had at first worried it might be. Just a little fear, over what mistress Needle might do to her, if she found them incompetent. An understandable thing. While she had never seen something personally, Needle had spoken to Pop about how it were good to have one with her, whom were not a failure that required *correcting*. The way she had said that last word, made it rather clear that Needle were not above punishing those who failed her, but in what way, Pop couldn't say. She wanted to think it wasn't something bad, yet knowing her mistress, it likely were. She could be rather cold towards most others.

She'd be listening to any idea, but she had given those she could think ofherself for now. Hopefully Flint would have some degree of idea, as she now had the end game. But they had to actually llure them out too, and that is where the devil in the details laid.

As the debris that Molotov was desperately trying to delay from falling slipped through as he fell unconcious, Cali took action.

the site was spectacular.

but Light knowing a bit about Cali. Knew that her next move might be very blinding.

so he quickly gave each pony a very particularly hightech sunglasses. He cancelled the barrier surrounding blitz boom.

" Wear this.... And give this to your brother aswell."

he quickly went to Luna and blue.

" You'll wanna wear this."

he quickly teleported to any pony near enough to see what Cali was about to do. And slapped the glasses on their faces before they could say or scream about it.

after that a beautiful laser show was presented to everyone by Cali.

BOOM!

it was quite beautiful... Much more better than any fire work displayed in equestria.

but Light was the only one getting a cold sweat. Because he already experienced that attack before first hoof.

" Gulp.... I remembered my Cali practicing that move on me.... I guess this Cali already mastered it....."

as Cali finished. She landed beside Molotov in a weakend state.

light thought to himself, " I guess this is the right time for me to get rid of Cali.... Molotov is unconcious, Luna... I don't know what she'll do but I'm not worried about her..."

Light then went towards Cali still pondering what to do. Should he get rid of her or not.....

As he got near Cali he spoke.

" Hey.... Sorry for the mess I made...but do you have to scatter the dangerous powder you created from pulverizing the debris into atoms?..."

light then quickly opened a portal wear Cali pulverized the debris, and quickly sucked up all the ashes that was about to land or scatter across equestria.

".... We don't want your new home filled with radioactive waste now do we Cali?...."

LIght witnessed Cali's heroic acts and now regretted his actions toward her.

" Well this is enough proof for me, you really like this place huh Cali.... Wont you endanger this place just by being here?"

“let's say there is a herd of Wildebeest, one of th strays away from the herd because he found beautiful-looking part of a grass: a flower. Then, a lion jumps in for the kill. We have to know something which caused the Wonderbolt to stray away from her friend, it could be food or a call for help. There's also a possibly we could take two birds with one net. We just have to construct our plans properly” she turned to Pop Rock, “We will have to go to a salon and buy some accessories. Like a wise pony said, you can be anypony if you wear something”

Luna was glad Cali quickly calmed, she was worried the human-turned pony would go berserk and wreck havoc around them but it didn't happen, much to her and Blue's relief

13 hours ago, Cali said:

"If you really wish to admire me, how about I fly you to the edge of the atmosphere?"

“I would love to but I prefer flying inside of you in the flying machine form you showed us” Luna said with enthusiasm, beaming a the thought of flying a technically and literally a living technology. If everypony ever made Cali an ambassador, maybe she will be included in the history books. Oh that would be so great!

She frowned when she heard Light's bitter words. He was not easing down the situation but if Cali would have heard him, things would spiral out of control.

“Did I told you to shut your mouth-”

However, she interrupts in mid-sentence when an avalanche of debris rained down on Molotov and Blue, who successfully got away before any damage could have done to her, however, Molotov was knocked down by large debris. Luna can hear both Blitz and Blue scream out the stallion's name. She could not react.

But then, Cali decided to use her shapeshifting powers to save him. She stared in awe, not even feeling intimidated when Cali disintegrated the debris with a big explosion. Blue however was scared for life and hid under Luna's belly, Light's glasses protected their eyes from the flash. Luna overheard Light's statement about being hit by the same move, to which she blurted out “Really!?” she did not wait for an answer.

Luna however did not hear what Light said about Cali.

Lin wasn’t exactly faring well, though she was mostly trying to blast a powerful jet of water right at the target and seeing if that did anything. Her initial attempts at spraying and stopping didn’t seem to work, and she thought about shifting her strategy to one stream of water and seeing what happened next. There was a lull where she stopped doing anything and watching Rosa and her brother before going back to it. By the looks of their attempts, they were doing far better than her, with Sen having a small lead.

Right then, she’d find herself being distracted by Omen and Shrimp, watching the sight unfold. It was a reminder of the simple things that gave her joy, the kind that could just happen in the heat of the moment. There were other moments like this in the evening, but the longma found herself liking what she saw. It took her out of the game for a while, before snapping out of it and firing another stream at the target.

It wasn’t so for Sen, who was a little too into the game now. He said he’d work for his win, and he was going to win. At this point, he was slowly building up his strategy as he went on. He may not have control over how much pressure he’s putting on the water pistol’s trigger, but he seemingly got into a rhythm. A strong push followed by a slower and gradually weaker stream, then following up with a stronger pull on the trigger.

It seemed to be working, even if the balloon didn’t fill at a consistent rate. He’d slow down for a moment to see how everyone else is doing, though he knows his biggest immediate competition was the thestral. He wasn’t the type to trash talk, but the longma was rather curious at how his friend was faring.

“How are you doing, Rosa? Getting the hang of the game?”

"A momentary distraction. I am yet to be out of the game. I see you are not giving up either."

The clown opening and closing its mouth slowly were actually working rather well with Sen's approach, and would do so even further, if he timed when the short bursts were added, over the more direct spray.

Rosa were currently getting closer to a consistent angle, yet the opening and closing were making him test an approach, where he kept changing the angle to coincide with said opening and closing. It seemed to work well at first, but it would soon turn out to simply not be efficient, causing him to fall further behind, and instead go with what he considered to be the best angle. A steady stream at an angle, where he simply had to accept that at times, the mouth wouldn't allow him to get much further along. He'd get along, but Sen would remain in front of him, and due to his experiment, would have gotten a lead as well. The longma's ballon were getting closer and closer to being filled at this point. Long as he did not mess up, he should be able to gain his victory, to even the score.

Omen would start trying really, before Shrimp were done drinking,.a nd let out a little satisfied burp. Sated for now, he'd slither back up into her mane, and curl up for a nap, while Omen would begin to press down more and more, until she hit an angle that actually made contact with the clown's mouth, and just kept it there, unflinching and without moving a muscle. Had she done so from the start, she may have a chance, but as she were giving water to Shrimp for the first half minute here, she simply wouldn't be able to catch up.

"Are you all remaining confident, or would you prefer to simply give up right away? It's okay, I won't judge."

At this point, Rosa were honestly just trying to egg the competition along, and see if he couldn't get them to want to beat him more. Minus Omen that were, as he doubted she cared much for, or really understood, the concept of taunting to make your opponents give you a challenge. A bit of a cocky attitude that tended to backfire, but he didn't mind. He'd rather lose a close fight, than win one without a sweat. At least in this particular scenario. When it came to more life or death things, then by all means, throw him a curveball.

"Miss Flint is smart. I listen, and follow."

Pop's tail would wag a little as she looked expectantly towards Flint, with a sort of look in her eyes as a scout, looking at their scoutmaster, just before they were going into the wilderness. Flint were the one with ideas, and clearly, authority among the other goons. Pop was a follower, and needed to know whose guidance to follow. It would in the end, always be Needle's, but in situations like this, were decisions needed to be made that were critical for something that she wanted, Pop had no issue looking for leadership that led towards that goal, from someone else. And as the others already seemed to obey Flint, and she seemed to have a course of action, that leadership role would fall to her. Pop simply had to follow, and obey.

"Salon one block to the east. Caramel Twirl's Mane Emporium. Big place, with many things for ponies. Very easy to spot. Maybe they have what you need, miss? I go with you, or watch the inn?"

@Starforce Glimmer

Wandering into the store, they'd see the medium sized place took good advantage of the room size they had. There were the counter, with the signs beneath it declaring the various beverages they had, along with the usual assortment of cakes to go along with that, but beyond that, and the accompanying equipment to make that, there would be nothing coffee related in the rest of the place. Two tables, near the end of each part of the edge of the desk, were there for ponies to stand and eat and drink at, if need be, though beyond that, it were filled with various knickknacks.

Large teeth, carved into small miniatures, including a travel chess set, sat upon a shelf. Not a speck of dust on it, indicating that this were a popular buy. As were some of the other things, such as glasses made into various shapes, and in many colors. likely carved out from crystal in some cases. Some of which were also on sale in pretty, raw formations. A nice little thing for most, or a fun snack for dragons. Either or, long as they bought it, there wouldn't be an issue with the pony running the store.

There were many more things beyond this. Rings, fish bowls, amulets, boxes of various smooth stones, various amber creations, etc. etc. But if they were looking for a sort of friendship trinket, there were one that at least caught the eye of Zeehva, and made her stop up to look. Two necklaces, run with silver strings, and with a single piece of jewelry on each. That being of a dolphin, which were currently intertwined, with them locked in place, where one were jumping upwards, and the other down. Each eye had a jewel, with the one upside down being a sapphire, and the other a diamond. They could unlock easily, if you gave the small silver-rimmed bone figures a slight twist, and would click in place just as easily. Two necklaces, that could made for a combined token.

"I'm not usually one for bones, but... This is very well done. Fins, backfin, and the outline having silver, gives it a nice contrast. And the smell in here is enticing. I think I smell... Cinnamon? Strange how many coffee places run that, and pumpkin, here in Equestria. I suppose they're getting popular.

What sort of thing do you drink actually? I think I forgot to ask? S-Sorry."

A bit awkward, now that she kept that in mind, but it were a slight issue at best. She just felt like she should apologize when she said, or did something, which she thought were rather dumb.

Blitz had looked at the explosive display with lights flickering in her eyes, and an *Oooooh* sound escaping her. As she knew her brother wasn't gonna get totally smashed by the half dozen large pieces that had been rolling towards him, she could focus on such things instead, and not worry about him. Which were good, as the massively impressive explosion, which would no doubt be seen from pretty far off, and draw in some curious sorts - as well as guards - were breathtaking to her. Blitz loved fireworks, and this were essentially just that. On a large scale, and including some weird beam stuff, but essentially still fireworks. It were enthralling to her. As well as rather scary to who else were in the scrapyard right now, who rightfully so, started to leave with some degree of haste.

On 2021-05-11 at 1:08 AM, Cali said:

She did a lot more than she had to, but she did this to show how much she cared for her friends here. She did this too, because she had felt like she could finally trust someone else. She wouldn't let anything happen to her friends either. It was for them - she owed it to them. Especially Molotov. She'd lay there and laugh quietly, and reach a hoof over to Molotov in an almost reassuring manner.

A way to say, it was okay. It was all okay now.

Seeing as he were still knocked out, Molotov wouldn't respond to things, but Blitz would. Among her continued attempts of getting out of this stupid magic bubble that stopped her from moving around. Until it were suddenly gone, and she tumbled forward, just before getting a pair of funny glasses. *gasp* a gift! She liked gifts. So she had taken them on right away, before looking up towards the pretty, pretty show.

"Yey! Big brother is saved, and with pretty explosions and Brrrrr-Zoom in the skies! Laser lady for the rescue."

While she were going ecstatic, and saying how cool she all thought this were, though without understanding much about how it were all working, Carmen would skitter closer again, after having been on the side for a time. She did not like leaving her creator like that, but she knew the damage it would cause, if she got smashed, as well as how Molotov would feel, in case she actually did go and get herself crushed. He'd be devastated, as she were his prime creation. One whom he thought of as his firstborn, and would be just as saddened to lose, despite how jolly he may present himself most times.

Once she got to him, she'd climb  up to his head, and put her legs around him as far as she could - not even covering his ears - and then laid down. A mechanical whirr, sounding almost like it were meant to be a kind of melody, would then escape her, as she laid there on her creator. In her own way, she were trying to coddle and comfort her bruised and unconscious master. Just like he cared for her whenever she felt down, or tried to calm her down after they ran into a clown. Though mostly, it would be the clown needing to be calmed down. Carmen did Not like them, and she were very... Expressive about it.

Not long after that, Blitz would come along too, and hug her brother too, while putting the glasses on his face. Upside down perhaps, but it were the thought that counted.

"Hey, Laser lady just did a rescue. She can helps lots of ways, and be a real hero... Monkey thingie? She looks pretty."

She'd bounce over and rub her head against Cali's soft exterior, as if she were a cat. Wouldn't be any purring, but this were still her second preferred way of getting close to others. Right after latching on with hugs like some sort of equine leech.

"Big brother gets hurt lots of times. If it were really serious, Carmen would make warning noises. Loud ones."

If they looked close on Molotov, and brushed some of his coat to the side here and there, they would be able to see some old scars and bruises here and there. Not the prettiest sight, but such were the price for innovation sometimes. Especially when dealing with robotics, like he were specializing in. Sometimes when dealing with that, you'd get roughed up.

"And I wanna make a vehicle! I can make lots and lots of things go boom. Dunno how to use that for power all the time, but new ways to make thing kablamo, sounds awesome!"

She'd bounce away from Cali, and over to the stove that Molotov wanted to use for an engine. Using her magic, as well as tools that she slipped out of his belt, she'd start working on dissasembling it. And considering the speed, this did not seem to be the first time she had taken something like this apart, though she enjoyed it all the same, while Molotov laid there. His breathing were steady, and he wasn't bleeding, so he'd likely be fine. He'd just be sore, and with a massive headache, once he woke up.

Blitz did hear some things that she were ignoring too as this went on. Primarily how Light had been hit by one of the laser beams from before, by another Cali, as Blitz didn't like to swell on bad things. She liked to think of happy, positive things, so stuff like that tended to either be overriden somewhat fast, or just straight up ignored by the filly, as she focused on something more positive. Like engine building.

She'd continue to disassemble this future potential power storage unit, from the stove it had once been, as she talked. It were fun to her to do this. It didn't even have to be put back together like this, sos eh didn't have to remember a lot of how this were put together in the first place, like she sometimes had to do when taking other things apart.

"Please do. I do not have negative experiences with goats per se, but I find the jungle variants to be... Deceptively varied in their approaches to meeting outsiders."

It were much the same with deer. Sometimes you ran into some that were very open and talkative, long as you treated them with respect, and sometimes you ended up in a cage, and had to escape during the dark hours when there were less guards watching you. With goats it could be even worse, which he could attest to from personal experience. As well as via some files from the hospital he still had, which pointed out several injuries that needed time to heal. Which were not much of an issue, considering the size of the cast they had him in for those two months after. Dear Celestia, had he dreaded those almost as much as his bad encounter. The constant itching were near torturous.

In the time they had been chopping away at the foliage, the dark entity would have gotten even closer too. It were only about five minutes from them in fact, at its current pace, so they best get a move on, and sort this soon, or they could well be doomed.

"I shall provide backup, and look out for signs of our stalker. Please be careful when making contact, okay Fuchsia?"

He were concerned for her, but he trusted her, if she judged herself able to do this. It were more the goats whom he had less confidence in, but there were no choice but to see where this would lead, and what her plans may be.

Fuchsia bounded up to the head goat and began gesturing and bleating in broken goat language, flapping her tail rapidly behind as she does so. The lead goat eventually nods his head, looking a little mollified, and wagging his goat tail also, but looks distrustingly at Billowing.

"We're good to go through." she says. "Just avert your eyes from the nannies.", her loud voice and tone indicates to an experienced traveller like Billowing that she imagines that some of the goat onlookers understand Equestrian.

She gives him a warning look that she hopes will tell him not to mention their undead assailant.

Flinty (Not Flint) smiled, pleased to hear Pop Rock's comment “Nopony has ever said that to me before. Everypony only called me Clover Mare because I have been lucky in several operations where I should have 'dropped on the ground forever' but here I am-”

“They're not wrong”

“Don't cut me off all a sudden, Blunt!” She snapped at the stallion before turning to Pop Rock, “You and Blunt should wait somewhere else, seeing two individuals for hours after looking out from their window as very suspicious. Me and Shackles will go and make a new 'identity'” it's obvious by what she meant: she was going to dress up with Shackles as other ponies, a very good plan not to be whatched by the ghosts surrounding the two targets.

Light noticed that luna has no idea what Blitz is saying so Light made sure  luna wouldn't be worried.

".... Don't worry I got this. just assist us as much as you can....so can you get me a philips screw driver?, An adjustable wrench, a speed wrench.... And maybe a screw buster just in case..." Light smirked a bit as he said those lines. " Nah I was just kidding."

" But seriously Blitz...why do we need cogs?.... Those things break easily... An actuator would do nicely though...oh wait.... I think it doesn't exist yet. A drive shaft would be better...."

Light noticed that Cali is getting worried over Molotov.. and it creeps him out.

" You know... If you're that worried cali... Both of you can go to the hospital."

“Give up? Not when I’m getting the hang of the game, my friend!”

Though Sen was getting a firm understanding of the game, Lin wasn’t faring as well as she had thought. Seemed like she was nowhere close to getting the water into the clown’s mouth with consistency. How Sen was managing was beyond her, but it didn’t look like she could fare better without rethinking her strategy. She stopped for a moment to just watch Sen and Rosa, hoping to pick up something that could give her a fighting chance.

In the meantime, Sen didn’t see the clown’s mouth moving, which explained why his aim was being thrown off periodically. He would pay closer attention to this as he continued filling up his balloon. Now that he knew he was leading, he was aiming to maintain that advantage. Besides, he would need to keep this up after already declaring that he was getting the hang of it. Once he sees the mouth moving up, he'd adjust his aim and lessen the strength of his water's stream. With this momentum, he could already see himself scoring one win for the night. He wouldn't even feel too bad if he wouldn't win anything else tonight. His gut told him this was the one, and he'll make sure it will happen.

“I’m gonna win any minute now, Rosa! I think your question is better directed at Lin. Looks like she’s lagging behind!”

“Hey! Indirectly teasing me? I didn’t think you had in you, brother. I’ll catch up; you’ll see.”

Sen didn’t seem to take Rosa’s goading, but that was mostly because he was in a good rhythm. Compared to him, Lin’s unexpected competitiveness was a welcome addition to the already tense game. Though she may be ready to concede a first place finish, she wouldn’t metaphorically throw in the towel just yet. Winning might be out of the question, but a close second might be possible. Once she’s seen enough from Rosa’s and Sen’s strategies, she’d start playing catch-up, though she’d do so after glancing toward Omen to see how she’s faring.

Charir not understanding a word that was being said, kept being curious and mostly ignored the conversation, only paying enough attention to be ready in case something happened, though luckily he didn't really need to take part anyway since the others took care of talking.

The griffons wouldn't be able to see any break in an act or anything with Ruby, after all, this 'pony' was ironically enough probably the most tolerating of the bunch when it came to death and brutality "We do, in fact, we last hunted today, the smaller lizard even took a small trophy from the hunt." her tone was nonchalant, but there was just enough pride mixed in that it told clearly about her not caring about the way the griffons spoke about ponies, the use of the word lizard was also purposeful, it was a way to challenge the inferiority of ponies without stating it outright. She of course believed ponies were inferior, but she had a act to keep up, and a pony thinking ponies were inferior could raise some questions. "Though I admit I don't know much about collecting hides, I prefer collecting bones."

And if her words weren't enough, her actions soon proved that she had stronger stomach than the guards, as during the conversation, a crow had gotten bit too brave and went to bother Charir, and Charir got a hit in on it around the time Ruby finished her last sentence. The hit wasn't enough to kill the bird though, and instead it fell injured hitting Ruby in the head and landing in front of her, after which Ruby just looked at the injured bird and crushed its head with her hoof, which of course sent out quite a nasty sound, after which she threw the now dead bird to Charir, who looked quite apologetic when his eyes met Ruby's. He proceeded to eat the bird when Ruby looked back towards the griffons.

She moved her hoof against the ground a bit to clean off the worst of what had stuck to it, good thing they were going out of the city so dirty hooves didn't really matter. She then looked at the two griffons again, with obviously fake remorse on her face and in her tone she said "Oh, I hope you aren't too sentimental about your less developed kin, I didn't consider that before ending its life" it was meant as more of a jab rather than insult, but ultimately she didn't really care how it was taken.

It made certain sense that Scarecrow couldn't truly feel the emotions he would have felt if he could, after all, feelings were very physical thing, being the work of different chemicals in the brain, and Scarecrow had neither, the chemicals or the brain., though who knew, maybe there was still a way for that feeling to return someday, his existence alone went against nature, so it wasn't out of the question that something like that could happen.

"It was...refreshing, I can't say I see the appeal of kicking a ball, but at least it was different from my usual existence." "And it is positive that no trouble presented itself that would have caused problems, but it seems I need to train myself a bit on the use of correct amount of strength, it is tricky to regulate that without the usual limits." he didn't want to accidentally harm someone by being too rough
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The kobolds would try the new ones one at a time, and Sheska having the softer options, she would be the first one to go through them both "They are both good, though the first one, Honey Yum was it called? It was bit better, I don't really have any specific reason for that, but if I had choose from these two, I would more likely take that one." it was the chocolate that did it for her, even if she didn't know it herself for sure, though the honey was also big part of it, it wasn't a new taste for her per say, but the honey here was sweeter than back home, the honey and the flowers used for honey back in their Equestria had been twisted by the magical night of Nightmare moon, so they, like everything else, was that bit of more unpleasant than here.

For Trox it was bit more clear why he had the opinion he had "The Licorice Bomb was better from my two, the other one wasn't bad, don't get me wrong, but the constantly changing taste isn't really my thing." it didn't mean he wouldn't take one if offered in future, like he said, it wasn't bad, it just changed bit too quickly "Maybe if each taste was around bit longer it could work better for me." "Would have loved to have access to something like the Bombs back when I lost my limbs though, they're surprisingly calming to eat." instead he had been chewing on wood and sucking ice, sure it had worked, but something like this would have obviously been more pleasant.

“I’m gonna win any minute now, Rosa! I think your question is better directed at Lin. Looks like she’s lagging behind!”

“Hey! Indirectly teasing me? I didn’t think you had in you, brother. I’ll catch up; you’ll see.”

The amount of confidence in this game were admirable, but in the end, there would only end up being one winner. However, the battle for second and third were still there to fight for, with Omen having her solid fourth place. But she were okay with that. She didn't have much of a competitive gene, and merely just played to do something with her friends. With her delay, it would be a minor miracle if she actually caught up and got third, so with her mostly out of the game, it came down to the other, more normal beings to duke it out. And much as Rosa tried to catch up, there would only be one balloon that would pop before long, and that would belong to the one they had teased basically all night, which would be Sen. The clerk would be clapping as it were, and toot a little horn she had beneath the counter.

"Ding ding ding, we got a winner! Now who's gonna take second place? Come one folks, let's see what you got."

Rosa might have lost the first spot, but he still had a chance against Lin. He had gotten a fine enough angle to work with now, and moved it calmly around to try and facilitate it correctly, but this game were just not going fantastic for him. Still a good deal better than Omen, but that were not exactly saying much.

As it stood right now, Lin and him were about equal, at a two thirds filled balloons, and both of them having a solid angle to go with. Lest something changed though, Lin would be able to pop her balloon about a second before Rosa did, which would earn her a toot as well. In the end, there would only be Omen left, and she would be told that it were time to stop. Which she then did.

"Good fight everypony. Hope he'll let you get a rematch somewhere else, so you get a chance for payback."

Miss had a temper when interrupted by the lower ranked goons it seemed. Definitely a leader type. Just like Mistress Needle. She too didn't like those beneath her to interrupt her words, or stop her from her work. Whatever that work may be at the time. Flinty and her had differences though, with Flinty being more one to snap and get emotional, whilst Needle had a penance for glaring at you in a way that made it clear what she thought of you, before she calmly, and coldly, told you what would happen, if you tried to do whatever had irked her again. And if it then happened... Well, no one could say they hadn't been warned.

"Yes, Miss Flinty. Pony come with me now, yes? I know a place. Can see this place from, but not close."

She'd direct Blunt over with a wave, and lead him towards a very fun little place. An alleyway with a dumpster, and an old broom. Along with a rusty bucket. Likely something related to cleaning the roof, and brush up whatever fell down from there. It had a fair view to the inn too. The side of it, to be exact, and as this was a trashy little alleyway, it were unlikely there were windows pointed here. And if there were, they'd still be able to hide from sight, by going in some. It should give them a fair vantage point, though Pop would have another route.

"Pretend to work, and ponies no ask questions. I clean roof, you collect. Keep eye on inn, yes?"

Long as there wasn't an issue with this plan, she'd climb the wall, and go up to start cleaning out the drain pipe. Nice and thoroughly, which meant slow. Wasn't the first time she stalked out by helping like this, and rarely anyone took notice of her. And if they did, it tended to be n a positive way.

"It smells quite pleasing in here, and I quite like this necklace here. What do you think about picking this one out? And I quite enjoy the smell of this place...but as for what I like to drink? Hmm..." Magnolia didn't have an answer to that question.

"I think it's a good choice. It seems very fitting for a friendship necklace, and the interlocking part is well done. Let me just have a little look more around to see what else is here before we go up to the register, okay? It'll give you some time to think about what you might like to drink."

Zeehva knew what she wanted for herself, but she wouldn't push Magnolia towards an answer like that. She'd have patience, and then see what she came up with. Might be something simple, or a thing they didn't sell, but they would just have to wait and see what came of it. And in the meantime, Zeehva's eyes scouted around, to have some idea of what else might be here. They stood in a pretty good spot to see several shelves after all, so perhaps she could end up finding something here that'd interest her. Bone were not the most normal thing that she worked with, but the crystal did make her wonder if perhaps there might be something more to her liking.

On 2021-05-13 at 12:27 AM, Magnolia said:

She was not big into drinks however, since they were in a city no doubt there was ample opportunities to try out some drinks. "No need to apologize, I actually would normally drink water all things considered but I feel like trying out some beverages that have a certain flare to them perhaps? What kind of drinks do you enjoy?" she'd ask awkwardly, she was not used to small talk like this but saw no harm in it at all. She was happy by the state of affairs.

"Oh, me? Well, I usually drink herbal tea. It's a bit of a thing in Zebrica. Well... More than a little, I suppose."

It had a lot to do with the herbs they had to use for it, but there were a plethora of traditional drinks to chose from in Zebrica, and the majority of those were teas. Seeing how she had lived there for some time, after arriving to be with her husband, she had picked up this habit too. Amongst others.

"A-Anyway, you uhm... You want something with a bit of flare to it, yes? I think perhaps something with a spice then wouldn't be bad. Might be beast to ask him what sort he have to offer, but cinnamon isn't bad. More of a sweet taste though, but there could be some variation. Just let me have a little look around first, and we'll go there. Promise. There seems to be a line now anyway, so probably best to give it a little time to thin out."

She'd wander over into a corner, and round a shelf, then suddenly stopped up. A light nearly glimmering in her eyes, as they fell upon the things that she had been hoping to find: A section fully focused on crystals. Raw ones, formed ones, others used in decorations, etc. But what her eyes fell upon, were one in particular. One that appeared a little dusty, so not something that had been looked at a lot it appeared, yet the wooden stand with the dozen regular sized, crystal vials, were exactly what she had been looking for. Sure they didn't have corks in them, as these were more for show, but that were easy to get hold of. It were the vials themselves that weren't, and after breaking yet another one, while she were having her fight with Magnolia earlier, she desperately needed new ones.

"Perfect! Or well, nearly, but it's a minor thing to find corks. A nice, lucky break this is. Are you seeing anything interesting, Magnolia?"

While speaking, she'd carefully pick up the stand, and bat to the vials a little. The nice, clangy sound from them hitting one another, made her smile a little, as she examined them closer. Had to make sure they weren't cracked, or bad things could happen.

Cali snuggled Blitz there, enjoying the feeling of her soft head against Cali's fur. She giggled and patted Blitz, and then hugged her tightly. "I thank you for your care, Blitz." she would pat Blitz's mane happily, enjoying this.

"Friends needs nice words and hugs. You and big brother especially."

Cali had saved Molotov, and he would be hurting when he eventually stirred back to life, so they'd need/deserve some positive attention right away. And Cali even hugged her back, which were nice. A shame she wasn't in her human form anymore, as Blitz wondered how that'd feel, but hugs were hugs. They were good, and she'd enjoy them, as she always had. Or well, believed that she always had. She still only had a few months of actual memories to work with, despite how much Molotov had tried to tell her about the past, and hope that she'd remember their family.

Sadly she still didn't, but at least she new they were family. He had presented the evidence, told her things that made sense, and had the same knack for making stuff like she had. He even had the same last half of a name like her, so she had accepted what he were, and hoped that eventually, she'd remember what he were like when she were younger. Before she woke up in that crater in the Everfree Forest. But for now, she'd go with the memories they were making on a day to day basis. This day especially looked like it'd have a lot of weird ones for that collection, hehe.

On 2021-05-13 at 1:16 AM, Cali said:

Cali would stand up a bit disapprovingly of Blitz's actions here and watched her disassemble the stove there, amazed ath ow fast she was disassembling it. "Whats the point of building something, if only we blow it up? Let's build something for Molotov, as a surprise when he wakes up perhaps? How about another Spider companion or something of that sort?" Cali asked.

"Anything that goes boom can be built, but have you thought about building something else, Or focusing on something more...constructive? When you blow it up, its gone. So its not that good use of a time, don't you think? I wanna build something for Molotov, but what?" Cali asked, thinking deeply.

"I like fireworks and kaboomies. They're not there long, but they're really pretty, and the sound is amazing, hehe.

But I still make stuff too that's not exploding. See? I have wings, they're not exploding. Yet. I think? I didn't use anything explosive... Oh well, probably nothing. But but but! I make funny trinkets too, and big brother have started to show me how to make funny machines. It's pretty fun, and there's some kablammo when they go puff puff. I dunno how to power these things though. I tried electricity once, but it got out of the box, and set fire to the forest. That wasn't nice of it. Big brother says he uses the sun to power lots of things, but I don't know how to do that. Maybe we build stuff with wires and things, and he puts in sun gems too? I can totally build something like that, that probably won't explode. Maybe? hehe, guess we'll see, yey!"

Blitz were somewhat... Crazy, honestly, but she meant well, and she did like to make things that lasted too. Things like engines were new to her though, with her only seeing some of what Molotov did himself to work with. As he mostly went with robots, she sorta figured she could run it like that, and then make room for some kind of power crystal, or thunder block. She didn't know. Normally she wasn't allowed to use stuff that gave power. Something about *an impending catastrophe just waiting to happen* or something like that. She still did sometimes though. It just hadn't really worked so far.

Blitz would wander over, and take a screwdriver from her brother's toolbelt, and hold it in her muzzle like a happy puppy.

"I have a screwdriver! The wrench is better. More bolts. See?"

She'd point towards the mess she had disassembled thus far, and there sure were a lot of bolts, with nearly no screws. Though a few were present that she could get to work on in just a moment, soon as she were done responding to the next inquiry, about cogs.

"Silly silly. Cogs make things move. So lotsa cogs, means things can move lots too. See? Wires and stuff too, and pipes for the water so it doesn't get too hot. I listen when he says stuff. What's a drive shaft though? *gasp* Is that something that powers things?! Some new kind of screw? Weird human technidoodle?"

She'd be very curious by this point, as this might be something really big and important, and she wanted to use it. Unless it were bad, but he wouldn't speak about bad things, right? Light weren't bad. He were just sorta mean to Cali for some reason, and a little shiny. That wasn't bad, right?

"The hospital is the big building with the plus sign on it. They'll know for sure if big brother is okay, if you wanna see. Hehe, last time he was there, he had gotten his hooves glued together. There was lots of laughing."

Blitz would point a hoof towards the obvious hospital in town, judging by the cross, and it were indeed quite large. Several stories high, and really standing out, even amidst the other tall buildings. But it had to by design too, in case of an emergency. Easier if you could see it from basically anywhere, than to ask for directions when somepony were in a really bad state.

"I shall keep my head low, and avert my eyes then. I follow as you direct, Fuchsia."

When there would one day be time, he really needed to ask her how she had become so adept at communicating with goats, as even if it were not perfect, that had been an excellent performance in her attempt at communications. Far better than he were able to for sure, as he generally had to go by symbols and charades, and it did not always go well. Goat were just something he were sorely lacking in proficiency in. Good fortune for them though, that Fuchsia were not as lagging like he were, and knew what to do. All the way down to ensuring tail movement were also in place. A minor details, yet one that - as he understood it - were rather important.

Now, this meeting did not come without issues. They clearly did not trust him as much as her, and while he'd normally try and argue for his case, there simply wasn't time. So he'd do as asked, keep his head down, and simply wander closely to Fuchsia, where he could see her, and a little of where he were walking. That would have to suffice for now, as he followed, and hoped that this would lead them to good tidings.

As for their stalker, it would have had a chance to get even closer to them, and were now but a few minutes away. Where it set hoof, the plant life with wither and die, and animals big and small would run away from it, feeling the unnatural aura that were bottled up inside it. Yet it did not seem to care, nor register. It just kept walking towards those who had been there as it were released, with a singleminded determination to reach them, apparently. What would happen when it eventually reached them, no one could tell. It would likely not be pretty though.

@Catpone Cerberus

The two griffons had a very similar response to what they were being told by Ruby, as she went sassy on them, post raven-murdering: They laughed. Deep and heartily, with great delight.

"Would you hear her? Hah! I like your style, Red. Ain't a random bunny chaser we're talking to here."

"Naw. This one got character. A good one too. Some spice in this one. Shame you folks don't have her guts, eh little tin man?"

The griffon were referring to the guards, who had averted their eyes when the poor bird had been treated so poorly by the poor things. Specifically, whom seemed like the head guard of the three, that were currently holding a hoof in front of his muzzle, to avoid throwing up. Quite honestly, what a bunch of whimps. No wonder they had been given this shift, if they couldn't handle any sort of action.

"Would you all just... Please be on your way? There's nothing in your pile, and we already checked your group out before. Just leave us be."

"Sure thing. Hey Lordy! we're leaving boy."

The yak gave out a deep, guttural grunt of approval, and started to walk forward.

"Nice seeing you folks. Maybe some other time, we'll meet on a hunt. See how you fare against something that's actually worth stomping out."

"Yeah. Get a nice Ursa Major bagged maybe."

"That's a protected species!"

"Hmmm, you sure? Can't say I've heard about that. Have you?"

"Not a word. Maybe we'll check it out sometime."

The two would laugh as they started to get further, and the guards stood aside to both give them and Ruby's group place to move, while their leader went into the small guard house again. He were not in a good mood right now.

"Happy hunting."

If there were nothing, Marley would wander forth, and get them away, before the guards changed their opinion, and began doing a deep search. They had already spent enough time here, so frankly, it were time they got moving. Especially before Ruby started to kill more creatures.

"Quite eventful to wander with you already I see. I wish you hadn't shown off earlier though. It will leave a bad impression, which will end up biting me in the rear some other time I run into these guards. They expect griffons to tease them. Especially the more rural, hunter types such as those we came across there, but animal murder is different. I have doubts that they are going to forget this.

Though i suppose, that is my headache, and you could care less. The trip went straight to Ponyville, correct? Nothing to do before we end up there, which you have neglected to inform me about?"

================================================================================

@Catpone Cerberus

"I think it is mostly for the gratification of the colt, that they were playing ball. I have observed ponies for some time now, and it seems to be a bonding experience for them and their young.

I remember when I were but a sapling. How we would gather up around the center of our community, and plant a little acorn, which we all helped grow tall and strong. Such simpler times, when we were in harmony..."

Lyriel looked wishful, as she thought of those simpler times. Before the cursed water. Before the animals had all left, or had turned to wood. Before the madness and sacrilege, when it had just been them, living their simple, yet grand life, in service to the Earth Mother, in all her splendor. How she missed those days. Not just because it were simpler, but because her kin were there too. Pure and full of joy.

"But to get back to you, I found you did well in holding back, so you did not cause injury with the ball. A little too cautious at first maybe, but certainly better than the alternative. If you still feel you need more training though, we can find things for you to kick in the forest, and have you train yourself with those.

Would you like us to look further around, and see if there are other things we may learn, or partake in? Or were this somewhat straining as it were? I have doubts it were, but I do not wish to show just assume that I know your limits, or your wants in full. Such a thing takes a good deal longer of knowing one another, than we have thus far had."

Honey Yums it were then. One of her more popular new additions, and it was no big surprise really. It were made with some good, quality ingredients, and she made sure to pay a good price for the honey, considering the bits that Honey made from his... The foals love it, but I'm still trying to tweak it a little here and there, to make it just perfect. I'll try and see if I can make some variation with thicker layers eventually, to increase the taste time. Might do well, who knows? Hard to tell before I try making it.

Happy to hear the bombs are well received, and thank you for the compliment. It's nice to hear they would've hit the spot on a really bad day, though I'm sorry about your limbs. I didn't want to bring it up in case it was something sensitive, but it looks like you had a really bad time. I hope you're more alright now. Was it an accident? It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. I don't mean to dig into old wounds. Just a little curious."

He were a strange looking creature as it were, but the replacement limbs sure did add a little extra, and well... It made her curious. Tough not enough to push for anything, in case Trox didn't feel like talking about this. It wasn't her place to go that far into something that he'd prefer to be forgotten.

And speaking of forgotten, Onache stood ready, silently observing things, and prepared to redirect the mare's mind some. Just in case this went into bad teritorry, and Trox would prefer this situation to be handled, as if the question had never been uttered. A minor edit like this, would pose her no problem.

Fuchsia sighs gratefully, pleased that she was dealing with a professional. Her last few encounters with goats had been far harder on her stallion companions.

She glanced back, seeing the withered path their assailant had left and hoped that the goats were nomadic... but as soon as she trotted forward up the mountain it was clear that they were village goats with huts and little ones. She stops without warning and turns around. "Goats! Rams! Nannies! Do you see the death that comes from the temple!" she points down the mountain. The little goats and a number of civilians look where she is pointing and bleat worriedly. "Flee! Come with us!"

The rams who had let her through initially bleat angrily at her outburst...

Sen’s only focus was on his balloon, and when it finally popped, he could breathe a sigh of relief. He won this game, but he’d celebrate his victory in a rather quiet fashion. Not graceful by any chance, but he’d let go of his water pistol’s trigger and pause to catch his breath. The distinct thumping of his heartbeat was noticeable, but now he could rest and watch the others at his leisure. The competition for second place was still ongoing, and it was quite close.

As the clerk announced the winner, Lin was visibly stunned for a moment while glancing over to Sen’s popped balloon. She didn’t get one talon off the trigger, but that ended up reducing the stream’s pressure and strength. That change got her into rapidly overcompensating her shot, spraying water over the clown’s mouth before getting back into her rhythm. It was a still a close match, as she managed to quickly glance at Rosa’s progress.

“Looks like a very close second place win. You think you’ll get it, sister?”

“Honestly, it could go either way with me or Rosa. I wouldn’t be surprised if either of us won.”

A vote of confidence for their thestral friend was unexpected, though Lin wasn’t quite ready to concede defeat. Seeing how close the two’s progress were, her assessment was fairly accurate, and the winner would have the tiniest lead over the other. The expected sound of popping soon followed, though louder than normal, as if two balloons went off almost simultaneously instead of just one.

“Oh! Game’s over, but I’m not sure who took second place back there.” Lin directed her question at the others in the vicinity, including the clerk. Perhaps she might have had a better look at what just happened. “Did anyone see whose balloon popped first? I was only paying attention to mine.”

The world was a flash of rainbow light.  A brief event the other patrons of the diner had to endure, but they returned to their meals just as quickly as the duo left.  For the travelers, it might as well have been the snap and flash of a camera, in every color.  Instant travel.  The sounds of idle diner chatter and the wonderful smells of breakfast meals were gone with hardly the time to even form the most basic of thoughts.  Another flash in different location was all that marked their journey.  Less accurate and more normal, but it did save the less prepared from suffering the In Between again.  New sensations became apparent quickly.  The sounds of street chatter, distant blowing of whistles from traffic controllers, the hard clomp of hooves on cobblestone and the thuds of wooden wheels on road became the new music.

The pair found themselves on a sidewalk.  Tall buildings loomed and shaded them as Princess Celestia moved the Sun along its morning path but not quite high enough in the sky yet.  The buildings in this neighborhood shared a common construction of red brick.  An older part of the large city, but one that was clean and well maintain.  Not being allowed to fall into dilapidation.  Less busy than the part of the city the O.M.I. was located in.  The sidewalk was less crowded, but friendly ponies weaved their way through shops and homes, occasionally pausing to have a conversation with a regular customer or a neighbor.  Fewer foals were seen around and most ponies appeared middle aged or young adults passing through on their way to the nearby University.  The usual drag of city life just seemed to disappear in this neighborhood.  Nopony was in a hurry or worked hard to avoid eye contact any another while on the move.  Even the mare from the wealthy part of the city could return a wave to a friendly greeting.  Her visits weren't common, but she was no stranger here.

"You misunderstand my brother, Lily.  He is very proud of what he has done, for both Equestria and Harrowmark, but you'll never see it.  How many conversations have you had with him?  Stallion of few words, no?" she chuckled.  "Great at listening though.  Rising is a very internally motivated pony.  The polar opposite of me.  I relish in praise and admiration, as you've no doubt guessed.  For Rising, all of this is his reward," she waved her hoof over the blissful happy neighborhood.  "An Equestria no longer under assault from a faraway tyrant.  Protecting who he can from the misuse of magic is its own reward that no statue or medal can beat to him.  That's not to say he'd be rude about what extrinsic rewards he was offered, just don't expect him to go seeking such things."

On the other side of the street, one particular building exclusively had young adults coming and going.  A sideways horse shoe adorned above the entry way.  An off campus dorm, but Dawn couldn't think of the name of it at the moment.  The mare attended Princess Celestia's School of Magic and didn't have to endure such typical school life.  Dawn turned about, the dorm across the street did tell her one thing, and that's where she was.  She looked up at a nine story apartment building.  "The last time I tried teleporting into his room without announcing myself, I bounced off a ward so hard I couldn't walk straight for a week," Dawn shuddered from memories of stumbling down her own halls like some drunkard.  "So we're going to have to capture him the old fashioned way.  And if that doesn't work, we have one more secret weapon."
