That is Sunset taking out her magic journal at the start of Friendship Games, but the reason I toned out the colours was to reflect that she had a dark past that she wrote down in a different journal. This is the image I made for my story: The Other Journal.

The best part of LoE was when Shimmy jumped out of bed, with karate kick and chop action, but at the same time, her eyes were caked with sleep and bags under them, and drool was on her mouth. Awesomesauce cuteness.

two questions for all of you. 

1)What would be a believable reason for Sunset to return to Equestria, because I'm blanking on anything other then homesickness.

 

2)Once there, what two pieces of Human Technology would Sunset try and replicate/introduce to Equestrian society

 

1:

There was a line by Shimmy in FG that said something like: "we haven't really won if the other side doesn't feel like they lost", which showed some of Sunny's characters and motives to stay in the human world-because climbing back up from her errors during the first movie, along with finding out the role of magic over there was harder and more of a challenge for her that she wanted to overcome to fully earn forgiveness than returning home and making amends with her teacher would have been.

 

So...maybe if there were equally challenging tasks or Sunset back in Equestrian?

@@Suukorak, This is what I get for being "The Cool Uncle" and telling my nieces that they are never getting just gift cards from me. So yeah, I now have to write a story, and I was blanking for reasons while Sunny would return, what happens when she returns.

 

I have a open wordpad, where I right down story arc ideas and the two things in there is

 

• Sunset introduces Coffee to Princess Luna
• Sunset and Luna take over part of Twilight's Castle for their weekly RVE meetings(RVE: Reformed Villains of Equestria) with Discord, with Starlight as a Provisional Member.

Sunset still needs to reconcile with Celestia over what happened between them. I still see it as the one thing in her past that continues to linger about and could potentially torment her if it isn't resolved. At the same time, Celestia wishes to know what has become of her former student, and still believes she will come back to seek out her guidance like before.

 

​As for the technology, I can definitely see her wanting to implement computers and the internet so that ponies have faster means of sending messages, looking up various facts, and so on. She might also bring them something no one could ever do without... instant hot coffee for those who need a real pick-me-up in the morning.

@@Ganondorf8, so Reconciliation and perhaps investigating why the Portal is leaking Equestrian magic would be a plausible reason. Perhaps Sunset waits until Graduation, and then decides to return, if only temporarily.

I don't see Sunset returning to Equestria permanently since she has a life and friends now in the human world. If anything, I can see her wanting to visit from time to time so that she could get caught up on current affairs happening there. It would satisfy her fans who want to see her in Equestria, those who want to see her as a pony, and those who want Equestria Girls and the show to grow closer together and be canon rather than drift further apart.

 

If there is a human version of Sunset, then everything I just said would be thrown for a loop.

My initial guess was that she lived in Canterlot--that's what fans are calling the name of the city--but lives in a different part of the city where she's had different experiences much like Sci-Twi, but none related to magic.

@@Ganondorf8, the way I'm to present the human Sunset is that she moved away during her 'brat years', and after having made a life for herself, moves back and finds the she is part of a band, helped saved a Camp, and other events.
