I have music playing and it (to me) sounds really good and because of that its making me feel like crying (i forgot i even had music on so i though why do i wanna cry).

Has this happened to anyone before where a song sounds so nice you wanna cry?

Also I didn't see a place to post about music or anything so if this is in the wrong place sorry.

Well, I can only get tears in my eye, if two conditions are satisfied :

 

1) The music is genuinely sad

2) It means something, such as a sad music in a movie or something. A sad music just for the sake of being sad will have no effect on me whatsoever.

Yup, music is very powerful, it can effect you in many ways. If a song comes on that has meaning to me, I may get a little teary eyed, haha.

It happens to me with a couple songs where I am either borderline crying with lots of chills or I am just bawling my eyes out.  I love the way music can empower people and fill them with these overwhelming emotions, there is something absolutely beautiful about music

Nightingale - Stalingrad is one of songs that recently made me cry. Lyrics of that one are speaking for themselves:

Lyrics don't do it for me, however, many instrumental pieces are so beautiful they make me pretty emotional from time to time.
