So in one of the trailers, they were saying that they'll be journeying to every place ever referenced in the show. I hope that's not hyperbole, cuz I'd really like to see some variety in location. I hope they go to Saddle Arabia. Where do you guys want to see them go?

The Griffon kingdoms I guess. I'd like to see more on the griffons.

I would wait and see on that. They have 26 episodes and not every single one of them will be outside of ponyville. After all, it's a slice of life show.

 

When it comes to places, i would like them to go to a place, which wasn't mentioned before, because i like to be surprised. Maybe somekind of seapony kingdom, or a Minotaur kingdom....Or a Snakepony kingdom. The possibilities are endless, since it's a fantasy world.

I think we might be seeing dragons. For a recently released comic IDW got some notes on how to handle some dragons and the designs of where they live to keep in line with the direction the show wants to take them, or something to that effect.

Finally a chance for a good Dragon episode. Now that Merriweather Williams is not on the team anymore, the chances of getting a DragonQuest 2.0. are close to zero.

I feel like dragons are kind of screwed up in this series. Like, when they grow up they turn into monsters. Which has horrifying implications for Spike as we've already seen. I'm not sure if they can backtrack, especially after Dragon Quest's portrayal of them.

 

Maybe Twilight will change them with the magic of friendship!

Part of me is going "WHAT? THEY CAN'T GET THEIR CUTIE MARKS!" but at the same time I really want to see what they'd be, and unlike most people, I actually think the cmc episodes are awesome, and aside from the cutie mark thing, that sounds like the best one yet, as long as the outlaw guy isn't annoying. Okay... I'm excited.

BTW, i just realized something. Isn't Rainbows reaction in the trailer, about expecting some kind of evil monster, a nice paralel to our expectations? I mean, except King Sombra (who also was kind of a monster) we always got monsters and deities as villains. Now that we have a normal unicorn as an antagonist, we where probably just as surprised as Rainbow Dash.

I believe the synopsis said it would indeed be the episode where Twilight (I guess) misses her library.
