This expresses my own desire to overcome my fear of climbing.

Strangely enough, I'm only scared of actively climbing, AND if the support surface is small (climbing walls, trees, even narrow stairs).

I'm not afraid of heights if I have a solid floor beneath my soles, even if it's transparent so I can see below. And I'm not scared if I'm on a narrow surface (or up a wall) and just stay there.
