What causes your mind to go brony mode?

Not gonna lie, everything. for some reason absolutely everything makes me think about the show. And it doesn't help that some of my friends somehow resemble one or two of the Mane Six

Odd little auditory and visual cues can do this for me. For example, hearing someone say 'fun' may make me fight the urge to say 'fun' as a string of repeated words. Hearing the word 'rarity' in a movie or spoken out loud will also do that. Most commonly though, when I see '20%' in some fashion, usually at work, it obviously makes me smile.

I usually go into brony mode when I hear specific words.

 

Words: Pony, Dash, Friendship, Scoot, Rainbow, Twilight, My Little, Chaos, Bad Seed, Hoof, Luna, and Peas in a Pod (that lyric from Apples to the Core? Yeah, I'm weird).

When I walk around the store and my eyes lock onto the colors of something that end up being MLP related. x3 I always end up squeeing like "OMG MLP!" xP

 

I also do that when I hear certain words or see certain people that intentionally do things like the mane six or are drawing ponies.

Whenever I see any sort of random shape or abstract image I will see ponies (or something else MLP related) in it.

 

So basically everything I see that isn't anything to do with ponies that I look at (as opposed to glance or stare at) doesn't make me think of MLP, but everything else does.

 

I can stare at a pile of leaves or chipped paint and see ponies...

Today I was in class and heard one kid say to another "...its a kids show, but..." and then I felt something switch on in my mind and I tried reaaaally hard to eavesdrop on their conversation because they were a bit of a ways away and the room was kind of loud, but it ended up the kid was talking about something totally different from mlp (ive got no idea but it wasnt mlp)

 

sometimes i have to do double takes at things kind of far away that are very bright and colorful, also like most people there are words that remind me of MLP, but i really dont feel like listing them (plus almost everyone else has anyway, theyre basically the same for me)

I like to assume people are bronies.

 

The other day, a guy I knew said "what the hay?" to me. I'm not sure if that was a reference, but I like to think that he's a secret brony or something.

 

Also a guy friend of mine used to watch The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and he actually says this openly. So I like to assume he secretly likes MLP or something.

Nothing so prevalent as commonly used words such as "kindness," "Princess," or what have you but there are a few that are practically a post-hypnotic suggestion.

Pretty much just seeing or hearing the word "rarity" or "pony" in any context.

 

Even tho I am not much of a gamer these days... I visit a website called GameFAQs with forums (called boards), and Sony/PlayStation fans who are overly fanboy-loyal are called."Sony Ponies", which is often just shortened to "ponies".

 

I haven't sat down and watched an episode in a few months... or read any MLPFiM material for at least a month until until recently.... but I wear a Princess Celestia necklace everywhere I go, everyday.
