I would have to say that my favorite character is Killa... I mean Villager. Something about his kit just clicks and I love the satisfaction of killing my foes with trees and hacking at them with an axe.

I don't the game personally but when I was playing with a buddy of mine from school my favorite was definitely robin. I can't exactly put into words why I enjoyed playing as him/her but it honeslty just felt "right" if that makes any sense. I don't know, I kind of just clicked with the characters play style.

Princess Peach has been a favorite ever since I started playing Melee as a kid, and she is most definitely my favorite and main character in the latest game. Nothing better than kicking some tail as a floaty pink princess

Pikachu, which I kind of expected would happen. Loved the little guy in melee and brawl and he feels pretty much the same in the latest game. And, I must say, the thunder spiking is absolutely hilarious to see and feels so good when you score the killing blow after they bounce helplessly off the ground.

I'm always surprised at how if you defeat Luma, Rosalina players somehow seem to forget how to fight. They just kind of mull around dodging attacks waiting for Luma to respawn.

Mii Swordsman, Lucina, Captain Falcon, Sonic, and Samus are my best characters.

I seem to be able to win fastest with Bowser. What an absolute powerhouse, if he doesn't end up top tier that would be a surprise to me. :o

Still prefer Shulk & Link most tho... just so many ways you can play Shulk because of his neutral B move all in the same match, and Link just feels better than ever in Smash 4 and has rad costume choices. :rarity:

I actually haven't been able to get a copy of the new Smash Bros (nor the console unfortunately), but from playing Brawl, I'd imagine Lucario and Link (Toon and normal) would still be my best fighters. No opinions about the new characters yet, of course :P

If I am not mistaken I believe Bowser is top tier. They sure buffed him from brawl at least.

My favorite characters are Villager, Dedede, Greninja, Megaman, and Wario. For some reason I love the satisfaction of picking up someone's attack and launching it right back at them.

Its too bad Reggie didn't make the roster, I really had my hopes up.

Link's been my main since the N64. Though, I did use Young Link way more than regular Link in Melee. With Brawl/3DS/Wii U, it's more of an even balance of using Toon Link and regular Link. I like Robin, Dark Pit, and Little Mac a lot too, though.

Well it started out as Pikachu as always.

Then I started experimenting with Shulk and realized how much I prefer using him. His smash attack hits twice for double the damage and he has quite a bit of power behind it.

Don't use his side B move near a cliff though.

Well, I think my favorite character is changing. Pikachu's lack of kill power is kind of getting to me. Pretty much have to rely on up smash and stage spiking people, or the insanely stylish thunder spiking.

I've found myself playing Jigglypuff more often now. Just having all those jumps for edge guarding is pretty nice, and rest is the funniest finisher ever. It may not be quite as flashy as a thunder spike, but it's pretty high up there on my list.

I would; he's just so big and heavy still, and... well, big and heavy just hasn't done very well in Smash Bros. He does feel better than he was in Brawl though. All the projectiles to deal with, and the juggles and just getting hit with the most combos for being the heaviest. Though I suppose being heavy does give the upside of making rage a little easier to get/ hold on to.

Yeah, Bowser's definitely a lot better than he was in Brawl or Melee... but then again a ton of the veterans are now. I am certainly finding a lot of characters better than him lately as well, heck I even like some that might not be as good like Palutena.

All in all I'd say I play a wide variety, Shulk mostly. :pout:
