While I was aware of Owl City, I only really started to like him after his song "To The Sky" appeared in the movie adaptation for my favorite book series, Guardians of Ga'Hoole.

Frostflame- I'm with you on that, but Owl City is one of the few exceptions. There's really no one like him. He's unique because his songs are a derivative of his dreams and imaginations.

 

He'll go down as one of my favorite single artists of all time. (His latest work aren't as good though)

Well, that's to be expected since he was put under a contract, he can't be as individualistic due to the time constrictions, It happened with Adam Gontier

That would be a resounding YES! My favorites include Alligator Sky, Dementia, I'm Coming After You, When Can I See You Again, Cave In, Dental Care, Galaxies, Beautiful Times, and Light of Christmas(Which features another favorite: TobyMac )

I generally prefer his music from All Things Bright And Beautiful and prior to that, but his newer material is pretty good too. I have to say that his Ultraviolet EP is probably his weakest release so far in my opinion (It had some catchy stuff, but just felt a bit like a generic pop album), but I did really enjoy Beautiful Times, and his recent Tokyo single was fantastic.   (Sekai No Owari are a really great band too.)

They're a great band. Their music is very upbeat and catchy. Especially "Good Time"

Heck yes!  Owl City is my absolute favorite artist ever.  I've been a fan since 2009 and Adam Young's music has had such a huge impact on who I am today.  It's really hard for me to choose a favorite song, but I choose either Fireflies, because that was the first song I ever heard from him, or Beautiful Times.  That song sounds really good with Rainy Mood behind it.
