I was wondering when this tourney would erupt into the kind of back-and-forth battle we saw so many of in 2013. How invigorating. The alabaster goddess welcomes this challenge. 

 

Luna, Luna, Luna, it's all I hear about. Not that I have a problem with Luna. She's certainly a well-designed pony and a character with a ton of potential. But next to Rares, she pales. The night can't contain Rarity's beauty; in fact it only accentuates it. To give you an idea of just how much she appeals to me...there are only two ponies that would give me a tough decision vs. Rarity in a poll like this: Lyra, and possibly Maud Pie.

 

In every way, Rarity exemplifies attractiveness on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and the fans can see it. Whether bathing in the water...

 

 

...Strolling leisurely down the road...

 

 

...Or lying around in socks for whatever reason...

 

 

...Rarity is inescapable. THAT is the most attractive pony left in this thread, and why since this is the Most Attractive Pony Tournament, it's an open-and-shut case. Let Luna win the Most Attractive Alicorn or something like that; I'd vote for her all the way. The most underrated pony of the Mane 6 next to Applejack deserves this victory.

My favourite contenders (Sunny, Twily, Lyra, Trixie) have now been knocked out.

 

I'm not going to vote in the final round because, well, they're both about equally pretty. On one day I might vote one way, and on another day I might vote for the other. Any vote I made would be completely arbitrary.

i was egged on to sign in for the first time in months just to vote for Luna here.

 

Well, y'know, despite how much I hung out the Rarity thread and how much I love her, if we're coming down to straight-up visual character appeal Luna does have her beat.  Thougghhh on that line of thinking, I'd have voted for Nightmare Moon or Celestia if they'd have been choices, haha.

 

But yeah, season 2+ Luna = the clear winner here.  Sorry not sorry.

This is insane, a perfect 50/50 split, this is a competition! How can one not vote for Luna though? It makes her so sad to see her subjects shun her once again.

Seriously, you've got to hand it to Luna for not just being placed against one of the Mane Six  in the final round, but being TIED.  Who ever knew a secondary character, with only one episode centered on her, would be doing this well against one of the most beloved members of the main characters with hundreds of times more screen time? (Me, of course  ) *performs gloating dance*  You all should read my recent blog entry if you really wanna know.
